【0034】
入出力バス34には、記憶手段であるROM(リード・オンリー・メモリ)38及びRAM(ランダム・アクセス・メモリ)40も接続される。

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a gaming machine, and more particularly to a video game machine and a storage medium storing a video game program.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Conventionally, in video games, there is a so-called “falling thing puzzle” game in which blocks fall from the top of the screen and are stacked at the bottom of the screen, and the game ends when the stack of blocks reaches the top of the screen.
[0003]
In this falling puzzle game, blocks selected by random lottery or the like from a plurality of types of blocks are displayed on the screen, and these blocks fall and accumulate at the bottom of the screen. The stacked blocks disappear when a predetermined condition is satisfied, and the player's score is added. At this time, the stacking height of the blocks is lowered. In addition, in this falling object puzzle game, the player can rotate the direction of the block or shift the stacking position to the left or right by the player's operation before the block falls from the top of the screen and stacks. .
[0004]
Therefore, the player performs an appropriate operation to change the direction and position of the falling block, and stack and extinguish the block under a predetermined condition. Then, for as long as possible, the blocks are not accumulated until reaching the top of the screen, and many blocks are eliminated, and the game proceeds. Each time the player repeats the game, the player repeats the game with an increase in the score of the game result and the pleasure of improving the technique of appropriately changing the state of the falling block with respect to the stacked state of the blocks.
[0005]
On the other hand, a player who has become familiar with the game recognizes as a pattern how best to place a new block against a stacked state of blocks, and has established it as a thought routine. . Once this thinking routine is established, the player will continue the reflexive and tasteless operation according to this thinking routine, and will feel the game as monotonous.
[0006]
Here, a fallen puzzle with a strong rhythmic sense element has been proposed, in which sound with a rhythm pattern is incorporated into the fallen puzzle as an indispensable element in the game, and the player is required to perform an operation according to the rhythm pattern. (For example, refer to Patent Document 1). In this falling object puzzle, the block falls linearly and cannot move left or right, but the player changes the block attribute by operating the button or the like within a predetermined input determination area. be able to.
[0007]

[0008]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, in this fallen puzzle, a block to which a predetermined attribute is added from the top of the screen according to the rhythm pattern falls at a predetermined time interval, and the block attribute is changed later by an operation of a button or the like. It has become. Since the predetermined blocks are successively dropped at predetermined intervals, the gameability becomes monotonous and it becomes difficult to play the game at the player's pace.
[0009]
The present invention has been made in view of the above-described problems, and an object thereof is to prevent a game from becoming monotonous by allowing a player to play a game at a pace of a player in a falling puzzle machine. .
[0010]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to solve such a problem, the present invention displays a game block that falls from the upper part of the area in the game display area of the screen display means and is stacked at the lower part of the area, and selects a game block in the block selection display area. A gaming machine that displays a plurality of types of designs, selects a design from among a plurality of designs by a player's selection operation, and drops a block having the selected design from the upper portion of the game display area. I will provide a. More specifically, the following is provided.
[0011]
(1)The game blocks that fall from the upper part of the area and are stacked at the lower part of the area are displayed on the game display area of the screen, and the block selection display area that is different from the game display area includes a plurality of types of pictures for selecting the game block. A display device for displaying a plurality of picture rows, a plurality of stop switches provided corresponding to the plurality of picture rows for selecting a game block to be dropped from the upper part of the game display area, and the game display A gaming machine comprising a movement switch for moving a position at which the game block at the top of the area starts to fall and a CPU for controlling the game, wherein the start switch is operated by the player As a result, the plurality of picture sequences to be displayed in the block selection display area can be changed to different pictures over time. When the variable display is stopped in all of the plurality of picture rows, the game blocks stacked in the lower part of the game display area have not reached a predetermined position on the condition that the plurality of picture rows are not displayed. The variable display is restarted, and the position of the game block in the upper part of the game display area starts to fall, until the variable display of the picture stops at all of the plurality of picture rows, the player operates the movement switch. Accordingly, the display is moved in the left-right direction within the upper portion of the game display area, and when the stop switch is operated by the player, it corresponds to the operated stop switch among the plurality of picture strings. When the variable display is stopped and the variable display is stopped for all of the plurality of pattern rows, each of the stopped display at a specific position is selected and Was dropped display the respective game block according to the selected pattern, the game blocks stacked in a region below the game display area, a game machine, characterized in that to perform a display to be erased to a predetermined condition is satisfied.
[0012]
(2)The game blocks that fall from the upper part of the area and are stacked at the lower part of the area are displayed in the game display area of the screen, and the game block that is determined to satisfy the predetermined condition based on the arrangement and type of the game block is deleted. A storage medium in which a game program to be executed by a CPU provided in a gaming machine having a display device and an input device is recorded, and the game block is displayed in a block selection display area different from the game display area The step of displaying a plurality of pattern sequences composed of a plurality of types of patterns for selecting the image sequence and the plurality of pattern sequences to be displayed in the block selection display area triggered by the operation of the start switch by the player, The display is changed to a different pattern as time passes, and variable display is stopped at all of the plurality of pattern rows. If the game blocks stacked in the lower part of the game display area do not reach a predetermined position, the variable display of the plurality of picture rows is resumed, and the game in the upper part of the game display area The position where the block starts to fall is left and right within the upper part of the game display area in accordance with the operation of the movement switch by the player until the variable display of the pattern is stopped in all of the plurality of picture rows. In response to the step of moving display, and when the stop switch is operated by the player, the pattern corresponding to the operated stop switch among the plurality of pattern rows is stopped and displayed, and the plurality of patterns are displayed. When variable display stops in all of the rows, select each of the pictures stopped and displayed at a specific position, and drop each of the game blocks corresponding to the selected picture A game program is recorded that causes a CPU provided in the gaming machine to execute a step and a display to erase the gaming blocks stacked in the lower portion of the gaming display area when the predetermined condition is satisfied. Storage medium.
[0013]
(1 ` ) A plurality of kinds of pictures for displaying the game blocks that are dropped from the upper part of the area and stacked in the lower part of the area in the game display area of the screen and for selecting the game block in a block selection display area different from the game display area According to the determination result of the condition determination means, the condition determination means for determining whether or not the game block satisfies a predetermined condition based on the arrangement and type of the game block, and the game Block erasing means for erasing the block, and a game block that selects a picture from among the plurality of pictures by a player's selection operation and drops a block corresponding to the selected picture from the upper part of the game display area And a block determining means.
(1 ` According to the invention, the gaming machine includes screen display means, which selects the game block in addition to the game display area in which the game blocks that fall from the upper area and are stacked at the lower area are displayed. A block selection display area in which a plurality of types of patterns for display are displayed. Then, the gaming machine determines the falling block by the player's selection operation. Therefore, unlike a falling puzzle where predetermined blocks fall at a predetermined interval, the player can play a game at his / her own pace.
[0014]
(2 ` (1 ` ) In the block selection display area, a pattern selection unit in which the plurality of types of patterns are variably displayed is displayed, and the block determination means displays the variable display by a player's selection operation. A gaming machine characterized by determining a game block based on a picture displayed at a predetermined position of the picture display unit when stopped.
(2 `According to the invention of ()1 `In the picture selection unit, a plurality of types of pictures are variably displayed in the picture selection unit, and when the variable display is stopped by the player's selection operation, the picture displayed at a predetermined position in the pattern selection unit is displayed. Based on the game display area, the game block to be dropped is determined.
[0015]
Therefore, the gaming machine can be stopped at a predetermined position aiming at a desired picture by adjusting the timing at which the player performs the selection operation, and can adjust the timing at which the gaming block falls. To do. This allows the player to play the game at his own pace. The gaming machine also allows the player to make a decision as if it were a slot machine. Thus, the gaming machine also gives the player a sense of playing a slot game while playing a puzzle game, and can prevent the game from becoming monotonous by combining different types of games.
[0016]
Here, the “design selection unit” simulates the display of a reel on which a design is drawn in a slot machine, for example. In addition, “variable display” means that in a specific display area, the type of block pattern constituting the block pattern sequence changes with time. Therefore, the block picture sequence itself includes those that change due to movement or replacement of the block picture so that it is overwritten with the picture of another type of block.
[0017]
(3 `()1 `) In the block selection display area, a pattern selection unit in which the plurality of types of patterns are variably displayed is displayed, and the block determination means is configured to perform a selection operation by a player. A gaming machine, wherein the gaming block is determined based on a picture displayed at a predetermined position of the picture selection unit.
[0018]
(3 `According to the invention, the gaming machine determines a gaming block based on a picture displayed at a predetermined position when a selection operation is performed. When this selection operation is performed, the variable display of the pattern row is not stopped. The picture displayed at a predetermined position when the selection operation is performed or the game block determined according to this picture is displayed at a specific position outside the picture selection unit, for example, and the selected content is displayed. The Thus, by adjusting the timing at which the player performs the selection operation, it is possible to perform the selection operation aiming at a desired picture and adjust the fall timing of the game block. Therefore, it is possible to play a game at the player's pace.
(4 `()1 `) To (3 `) A gaming machine according to any one of the above, wherein the fall of the gaming block from the upper part of the gaming display area starts when a selection operation is performed by the player.
[0019]
(4 `According to the invention, when the gaming machine determines a block to be dropped by the player's selection operation, the gaming machine starts dropping the block. This makes it possible to reliably determine the start timing of the block fall based on the player's selection operation timing. Therefore, unlike conventional gaming machines in which the blocks fall one after another at a predetermined interval, it is possible to suppress the game from becoming monotonous.
[0020]
(5 `()2 `) To (4 `) The gaming machine according to any one of the above, wherein the position at which the game block starts dropping in the game display area moves in the left-right direction within the game display area in accordance with the movement operation of the player. A gaming machine.
[0021]
(5 `According to the invention, the gaming machine can move the position where the game block starts to fall in the game display area to the left and right in accordance with the movement operation of the player. Therefore, the gaming machine can determine the start position of the fall by the player's operation before the game block to be newly dropped starts to fall in the game display area. Since the block that has started falling falls in the game display area over a certain period of time, the player can determine the type of block to be selected next and the start position where the block falls. As a result, the player does not need to perform an operation for changing the position or orientation of the block in the middle of falling, and can play the game with a margin. In addition, the gaming machine may move the fall start position and also move the pattern selection unit in the block selection display area in the left-right direction.
[0022]
(6 `()5 `) In the block selection display area, a plurality of picture selection units are displayed, and the movement of the position at which the game block starts dropping in the game display area is variably displayed in all the picture selection units. A game machine that is possible until the game stops.
[0023]
(6 `According to the invention, the position where the block starts to fall can be moved in the left-right direction until the variable display is stopped for all of the plurality of picture selection units. As a result, for example, in a gaming machine having three pattern selection units, the position where the block starts to fall is determined in the left-right direction even if the player has already performed a determination operation for two pattern selection units. Can move. That is, it is possible to correct the position where the block starts to fall until all the pattern selection units have been determined.
[0024]
(7 `) The game blocks that fall from the upper part of the area and are stacked at the lower part of the area are displayed in the game display area of the screen, and the game blocks that are determined to satisfy the predetermined condition based on the arrangement and type of the game block are displayed. A computer-readable storage medium storing a game program for causing a gaming machine having a display device and an input device to execute a game to be erased, wherein the game block is placed in a block selection display region different from the game display region. A step of displaying a plurality of types of designs for selection, a step of specifying a design by input from an input device among the plurality of designs, and a block having the specified design at the upper part of the game display region A game program including a game block to be dropped from and a game program recorded therein Body.
[0025]
(7 `According to the invention, the game program recorded on the storage medium causes the information processing device to display the game blocks that fall from the upper area of the screen and are stacked on the lower area of the game display area on the screen, and A plurality of games for executing a game for erasing a game block determined to satisfy a predetermined condition based on the arrangement and type of game blocks, and selecting a game block in a block selection display area different from the game display area Different types of patterns are displayed, a pattern is specified by an input from the input device, and a block having the specified pattern is determined as a game block to be dropped from the upper part of the game display area. Therefore, in the game of the present invention, the game blocks that are dropped and stacked can be determined by the player's selection.
[0026]
Therefore, the information processing apparatus in which the game program recorded in the storage medium is executed can prevent a predetermined block from being simply patterned and applied every predetermined time, thereby preventing the game from becoming monotonous.
