Description
先ず、前記昇降台33を下降させ、且つ、図1〜2の表裏方向にずらせて前記押型26の下方から前記支持ブロック37を抜き出した状態で、この支持ブロック37の上面に上記ハブ本体8aを載置する。このハブ本体8aの内端部には、予め前記内輪9aを外嵌しておく。

なる関係がある事が、広く知られている。従って、この式により求められる、上記各玉32の公転速度nC [min-1 ]と上記押型26の公転速度(振れ回り速度)nT [min-1 ]とに差が生じる様に、更に、好ましくはこれら両公転速度nC 、nT 同士の差(|nC −nT |)が10min-1 以上になる様に、上記モータ48の回転方向及び回転速度を、上記押型26の振れ回り方向及び振れ回り速度との関係で適切に規制する。
これら図4〜6は、押型26の振れ回り速度(揺動回転速度=公転速度nT )を一定とした場合に於ける、玉32の公転速度nC と外輪1aを回転させる為に要するトルクとの関係を示している。このうちの図4は上記振れ回り速度が400min-1 の場合を、図5は同じく800min-1 の場合を、図6は同じく1200min-1 の場合を、それぞれ示している。
更に、本発明の場合には、外輪を回転駆動する為に要するトルクが過度に上昇する事を防止できて、特に大型の装置を使用しなくても、上記車輪支持用転がり軸受ユニットの製造作業を安定して行なえる。

Claims (7)
- 内周面に第一、第二の外輪軌道を有する外径側軌道輪部材と、外周面に第一、第二の内輪軌道を有する内径側軌道輪部材と、これら第一、第二の内輪軌道と上記第一、第二の外輪軌道との間にそれぞれ複数個ずつ転動自在に設けられた転動体とを備え、上記内径側軌道輪部材は、その中間部外周面に直接又は別の内輪を介して上記第一の内輪軌道を設けた軸部材と、その外周面に上記第二の内輪軌道を設けた内輪とから成り、この内輪は、上記軸部材の一端部に外嵌し、更にこの軸部材の一端部に設けた円筒部を直径方向外方に塑性変形させる事で形成したかしめ部によりその軸方向一端面を抑え付けられる事で、上記軸部材に対し支持固定されている車輪支持用転がり軸受ユニットを造る為、加圧部材により上記円筒部の円周方向の一部に、軸方向に関して他端側に、径方向に関して外方に、それぞれ向いた荷重を加えると共に、この荷重を加える部分を上記円筒部の円周方向に関して連続的に変化させる事によりこの円筒部を徐々に塑性変形させて上記かしめ部とする車輪支持用転がり軸受ユニットの製造方法に於いて、上記内径側軌道輪部材に対して上記外径側軌道輪部材を一方向に回転させる事により、上記各転動体を上記各外輪軌道と上記各内輪軌道との間で公転運動させつつ、上記加圧部材により上記円筒部を押圧して上記かしめ部の加工を行なう作業を、上記各転動体の公転速度nC と上記加圧部材の公転速度nT とを互いに異ならせた状態で行なう事を特徴とする車輪支持用転がり軸受ユニットの製造方法。
- かしめ部の加工を、各転動体の公転速度nC と加圧部材の公転速度nT との差を10min-1 以上確保した状態で行なう、請求項1に記載した車輪支持用転がり軸受ユニットの製造方法。
- モータの出力軸の回転を減速して外径側軌道輪部材に伝達し、この外径側軌道輪部材を回転させる、請求項1〜2のうちの何れか1項に記載した車輪支持用転がり軸受ユニットの製造方法。
- 各転動体の公転方向と加圧部材の公転方向とを互いに逆にする、請求項1〜3のうちの何れか1項に記載した車輪支持用転がり軸受ユニットの製造方法。
- 車輪支持用転がり軸受ユニットを、水平移動するスライドテーブル上に載せた状態で、円筒部をかしめ部に加工する位置にまで移動させ、このスライドテーブルの下方に設けた押圧装置の出力ロッドによりこのスライドテーブルを支承した状態で、上記円筒部をかしめ部に塑性加工する、請求項1〜4のうちの何れか1項に記載した車輪支持用転がり軸受ユニットの製造方法。
- 請求項1〜5のうちの何れか1項に記載した車輪支持用転がり軸受ユニットの製造方法を実施する為、内径側軌道部材の他端部を支える支持台と、この内径側軌道部材の一端部に形成した円筒部を塑性変形する為の加圧部材と、外径側軌道部材を回転させる為の回転駆動手段と、この外径側軌道部材の外周面に対し進退自在に設けられ、この外周面と係合した状態でこの外径側軌道部材の回転を制限する回転制限部材とを備え、このうちの回転駆動手段は、駆動源と、この駆動源により上記外径側軌道部材の中心軸をその中心として回転する回転リングと、この回転リングにこの外径側軌道部材と同期した回転を自在に、且つこの外径側軌道部材の軸方向の変位を許容する状態で設けられ、その内周形状をこの外径側軌道部材の一部外周面に、回転力の伝達自在に非円形嵌合する形状とした回転伝達部材と、この回転伝達部材を上記外径側軌道部材の一部外周面と嵌合する方向に押圧する押圧部材とを備えたものである車輪支持用転がり軸受ユニットの製造装置。
- 回転駆動手段が、モータの出力軸の先端部に固定された減速小歯車と、回転伝達部材にこの回転伝達部材と同心に、且つ、この回転伝達部材と共に回転自在に支持された減速大歯車と、この回転伝達部材及び上記出力軸の中心軸と平行な中間軸に支持されてこの減速大歯車及び上記減速小歯車と噛合した中間歯車とから成る、請求項6に記載した車輪支持用転がり軸受ユニットの製造装置。
