Claims (10)
- 電気的にバスに接続された1次電力源と、
燃料電池を含む電気化学的システムからなり、前記バスに接続された2次電力源と、
前記1次電力源と前記2次電力源との間で電気的に連通するブリッジ電力源と、
前記バスおよび前記ブリッジ電力源と動作的に連結され、この両方の間に電気的に配置されると共に、前記バスおよび前記2次電力源と連通した状態で、この両方の間に電気的に配置される制御装置と、を含み、
前記ブリッジ電力源は、キャパシタとバッテリと電解セルとのうちの少なくとも1つを含み、
前記制御装置は、前記1次電力源を監視し、前記1次電力源が指定の特性を示したときに前記ブリッジ電力源のキャパシタとバッテリとのうちの少なくとも1つによる電力供給を開始し、前記ブリッジ電力源の電力が第1の指定閾値より多く消費されたときには、前記2次電力源を起動し、
前記2次電力源の電力が、第2の指定閾値より多く消費されたときには、前記ブリッジ電力源による電力供給を開始し、
前記第2の指定閾値は、水素貯蔵装置内に残っている水素の圧力に対応した電力であることを特徴とする電力システム。 - 請求項1に記載の電力システムであって、前記2次電力源の電力が前記第2の指定閾値より多く消費された場合に、前記ブリッジ電力源による電力供給を開始し、前記ブリッジ電力源のみが供給できる負荷レベルによりステータス評価及び診断を行うことを特徴とする電力システム。
- 電気的にバスに接続された1次電力源と、
水素貯蔵装置と燃料電池とを含む電気化学的システムからなり、前記バスに接続された2次電力源と、
前記1次電力源と前記2次電力源との間で電気的に連通するブリッジ電力源と、
前記バスおよび前記ブリッジ電力源と動作的に連結され、この両方の間に電気的に配置されると共に、前記バスおよび前記2次電力源と連通した状態で、この両方の間に電気的に配置される制御装置と、を含む電力システムの動作方法であって、
前記1次電力源を監視するステップと、
前記1次電力源が第1の指定特性を示した場合に、前記ブリッジ電力源から前記バスに電力を導くステップと、
前記ブリッジ電力源の電力が前記第1の指定閾値まで枯渇したときに、前記2次電力源を起動し、前記1次電力源が前記第1の指定特性を示さない状態と、前記2次電力源が第2の指定特性を示す状態のうちの少なくとも一方の状態になるまで、前記2次電力源を用いて前記バスに電力供給を行うステップと、
前記2次電力源の電力が、水素貯蔵装置内に残っている水素の圧力である第2の指定閾値より多く消費されたときには、前記ブリッジ電力源による電力供給を開始するステップと、
を含むことを特徴とする方法。 - 電気的にバスに接続された1次電力源と、
水素貯蔵装置と燃料電池とを含む電気化学的システムからなり、前記バスに接続された2次電力源と、
前記1次電力源と前記2次電力源との間で電気的に連通するブリッジ電力源と、
前記バスおよび前記ブリッジ電力源と動作的に連結され、この両方の間に電気的に配置されると共に、前記バスおよび前記2次電力源と連通した状態で、この両方の間に電気的に配置される制御装置と、を含む電力システムの動作方法であって、
前記1次電力源を監視するステップと、
前記1次電力源が第1の指定特性を示した場合に、前記ブリッジ電力源から前記バスに電力を導くステップと、
前記ブリッジ電力源の電力が前記第1の指定閾値まで枯渇したときに、前記2次電力源 を起動し、前記1次電力源が前記第1の指定特性を示さない状態と、前記2次電力源が第2の指定特性を示す状態のうちの少なくとも一方の状態になるまで、前記2次電力源を用いて前記バスに電力供給を行うステップと、
前記2次電力源の電力が水素貯蔵装置内に残っている水素の圧力である第2の指定閾値より多く消費された場合に、指定の負荷に対応した電力を供給するステップと、
前記ブリッジ電力源のみが供給できる負荷レベルによりステータス評価及び診断を行うステップと、
を含むことを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項4に記載の方法であって、更に、
前記バスからの電力を用いて前記ブリッジ電力源を再充電するステップと、
少なくとも、前記ブリッジ電力源が再充電されるまで、前記2次電力源を稼動させるステップと、
を含むことを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項4又は5に記載の方法であって、前記1次電力源が前記第1の指定特性を示し、かつ、前記2次電力源が前記第2の指定特性を示す場合に、前記ブリッジ電力源を用いて前記バスに電力を供給するステップを更に含むことを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項4から6のいずれか1項に記載の方法であって、更に、前記1次電力源からの電力を用いて前記ブリッジ電力源を再充電するステップを含むことを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項4から7のいずれか1項に記載の方法であって、前記第1の指定閾値は、約1秒から約30秒の期間であることを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項4から8のいずれか1項に記載の方法であって、前記第1の指定特性と、前記第2の指定特性は、それぞれ、利用不能状態と、動作不能状態と、期待されるパラメータで電力供給を行うには不十分である状態と、燃料供給されていない状態のうちの少なくとも1つであることを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項4から9のいずれか1項に記載の方法であって、更に、
前記ブリッジ電力源の電流と電圧のうちの少なくとも1つを監視するステップと、
前記電流と前記電圧のうちの少なくとも1つが、第3の指定閾値を越える場合に、前記ブリッジ電力源を切断するステップと、
を含み、
前記第3の指定閾値は、前記制御装置によって前記ブリッジ電力源からの電力に対する要望に基づいて決定されることを特徴とする方法。
