Claims (3)
- 各符号エレメント(C1,C2,C3)が、それぞれ二つの部分領域(A,B)から成り、これらの部分領域が、互いに相補的であり、測定方向Xに連続して配置されている場合において、測定方向Xに並んで配置された一連の符号エレメント(C1,C2,C3)から成る符号(C)と、
複数の符号エレメント(C1,C2,C3)を走査して、走査した符号エレメント(C1,C2,C3)の各部分領域(A,B)内において、少なくとも一つの走査信号(S)を生成するための、複数の検出器エレメント(D1〜D11)を持つ走査装置(AE)と、
それぞれ符号エレメント(C1,C2,C3)の部分領域(A,B)の走査信号(S)を互いに比較し、その比較結果に応じて、符号エレメント(C1,C2,C3)に対するバイナリ情報(B1,B2,B3)を生成する比較装置(T1,T2,T3)を持つ評価ユニット(AW)と、
を有する位置測定装置であって、
評価ユニット(AW)が、エラー検査装置(P)を有し、このエラー検査装置は、符号エレメント(C1,C2,C3)の部分領域(A,B)の走査信号(S)の差分を基準差分と比較して、この基準差分を下回った場合にエラー信号(F1)を出力する位置測定装置。 - ・符号エレメント(C1,C2,C3)は、それぞれ二つの部分領域(A,B)から成り、これらの部分領域は、互いに相補的であり、測定方向Xに連続して配置されている場合において、測定方向Xに並んで配置された一連の符号エレメント(C1,C2,C3)から成る符号(C)を走査する措置と、
・走査する符号エレメント(C1,C2,C3)の各部分領域(A,B)内において、少なくとも一つの走査信号(S)を生成する措置と、
・符号エレメント(C1,C2,C3)の部分領域(A,B)の走査信号(S)を互いに比較する措置と、
・その比較結果から、バイナリ情報(B1,B2,B3)を生成する措置と、
を有する絶対位置測定方法であって、
符号エレメント(C1,C2,C3)の部分領域(A,B)の走査信号(S)の差分が生成され、この差分が、基準差分と比較されて、この基準差分を下回った場合に、エラー信号(F1)が生成される方法。 - 検出器エレメント(D1〜D11)は、測定方向Xに部分領域(A,B)の半分の長さに相当する間隔で配置されており、部分領域(A,B)の長さに相当する相互間隔を持って配置されている二つの検出器エレメント(D1〜D11)同士から、当該の差分が生成され、
当該の差分が、それぞれ基準差分と比較されて、この基準差分を下回った場合にエラー信号(F1)が生成され、一つの符号エレメント(C1,C2,C3)の長さに相当する走査パターンにおいて、そのシーケンスが最もエラー(F)を発生させない検出器エレメントペアの、この差分演算によって得られたバイナリ情報(B1,B2,B3)が、符号語(CW)を生成するために選択される、
