BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a weed suppression mulching material for vegetation soil that suppresses weeds growing on field crops, plants and flowers in homes, parks, roads and green areas, and planting plants.
[0002]
[Prior art]
For mulching vegetation soil, plastic films and sheets have been used in addition to natural products such as paddy straw such as rice straw and wheat straw, and dead grass. Non-patent document 1 also proposes multi-application of compost obtained by mixing and fermenting livestock manure to these natural products. For this, with regard to multi-use of compost, the method of using semi-mature compost on the soil where the crops are planted is used to control pests by providing moisture retention and natural enemy residence rather than fertilizer effects. There is a description that the effect can be expected.
[0003]
Regarding mulching compost, there is Patent Document 1 for the purpose of suppressing the growth of weeds as in the present invention. This is a mulching material having a fibrous porous body and an organic fertilizer having a carbon ratio (C / N ratio) of 3 to 20, and covering the ground surface with a granular mulching material instead of a mat or sheet To do. Here, it is described that when the organic fertilizer has a C / N ratio of less than 5, for example, a sawdust raw material is not preferable as a mulching material because microorganisms having a weed germination inhibitory effect are difficult to propagate.
[0004]
Many proposals have been made on fermented compost using animal manure as a raw material. About the raw material cow dung which is the object of the present invention, for example, there is a description in Patent Document 2, and the content is a mixture of livestock excrement of livestock and one of the three elements of plant fertilizer on an organic material. They are piled up in a covered sedimentation area, fermented and matured until the water content is finally reduced to 20% or less, and used as a soil improvement material as a granular material in which fermentation is forcibly stopped temporarily.

[Problems to be solved by the invention]
Recently, along with the promotion of national land greening, it has become necessary to eliminate the root weeds such as plants and street trees planted in road median strips and parks. The use of mulching material that can also suppress germination of flying seeds has attracted attention. On the other hand, the processing of livestock manure, the processing of thinned wood in the forestry field, the processing of building woodworking materials, the processing of wood chips and sawdust, etc. discharged from construction sites have become social problems in order to prevent pollution. To solve these problems simultaneously, instead of the litter of barn, or laying it to make effective use of manure effluents in using sawdust with straw, which weed suppression of weed-preventing effect mulching Considering the effective use as a material, eventually becoming a fertilizer for plants and also becoming a soil improvement material, we examined it.
[0007]
Moreover, the conventional mulching material cannot be expected to have a sufficient effect unless a large amount of mulching material is laid in a considerable thickness to suppress the growth of weeds from seeds and strains on the ground surface. Large-scale use may increase costs and cause root rot of plants, and may cause harmful effects such as scattering of excess mulching material and surroundings.
[0008]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The present invention has developed a novel mulching material that solves the disadvantages of the mulching material as described above and effectively uses livestock manure and sawdust that are difficult to treat. A vegetation soil mulching material made of a mixture of That is, the vegetation soil weed suppression mulching material composition of the present invention comprises a mixture of livestock manure compost and soil, and vegetation soil mulch comprises a mixture of livestock manure compost 30 to 70% capacity and soil 70 to 30% capacity. The animal manure compost is cattle manure compost, the cattle manure compost is an immature compost of an unfermented processed product composed of a mixture of wood chips and cattle manure excrement such as beef litter or sawdust, wood chips, The soil is masa soil with few soil microorganisms.
[0009]
The mixing ratio of livestock manure compost and soil is a volume ratio of 30 to 70% capacity of livestock manure compost and 70 to 30% capacity of soil, and a more preferable range is 40 to 60% capacity of livestock manure compost. And the range of soil 60 to 40% capacity. If the livestock manure compost is less than 30% capacity, there is too much soil and the effect of preventing the reproduction of weeds will be insufficient, and conversely, if the mixture exceeds 60% capacity, the plant will lose so-called fertilizer due to water absorption inhibition. This is not preferable because the growth is stagnant. Of course, a mixture with a good balance is preferred, although it depends on the type of animal manure compost and soil, the mixture is nearly equal in volume. When the mixing ratio is well balanced, not only the growth of weeds from seeds originally on the ground surface but also the effect of suppressing germination of weed seeds flying from the outside can be obtained.
[0010]
As the livestock compost used here, normal ones such as cow manure compost, pig manure compost, and chicken manure compost can be used, but cow manure compost is particularly preferable. Cow manure compost is a barn litter or litter, especially wood chips or sawdust, or a mixture of these, and fermented with wood chips or sawdust containing a large amount of raw cow manure discharged from the barn, and at least half Set to fermentation state. Usually, the vegetation soil weed-suppressing mulching material is a fermented processed product of excrement made of a mixture of cattle manure such as wood chips and sawdust, which is obtained by performing sedimentation turnover a plurality of times for 30 hours or more. In the case of pig manure and chicken manure, wood chips and sawdust are newly added and mixed to make a composition close to the above cow manure compost and fermented. If there is too much content of pig manure and chicken manure, the fertilizer component of the final product becomes excessive, causing burnt of fertilizer and insufficient effect of preventing weed reproduction.
[0011]
Soil mixed with fermented cow dung can be used as various soils such as volcanic sand such as shirasu, diatomaceous earth, silica sand, etc. In order to make product quality constant, so-called granite called “masa soil” is used. Of weathered earth and sand is preferred. Masa soil is a preferred material for blending in that it can be supplied in a relatively large amount, has less organic matter, and has fewer soil microorganisms.
[0012]
The fertilizer added to the mulching material promotes plant growth in addition to the mulching effect, and is used as necessary. Since the fertilizer component is supplied from cow dung, it is not necessary to add it in particular, but if it is added, it is an organic fertilizer component other than cow dung, such as rice bran, oil cake, bran, chicken dung, etc., or inorganic chemical fertilizer. By using such a fertilizer in combination, the balance of fertilizer components such as nitrogen, phosphorus, potash and the like is improved, and plant growth can be improved without being influenced by the mulching effect that basically suppresses weed growth .
[0013]
The application amount of the weed-suppressing mulching material of the present invention depends on environmental conditions such as season, plant type, and the degree of flying weed species, but is usually 0.5 to 15 kg / in the ground surface around the root of the plant. m 2, preferably, 1 to 10 kg / m 2, more preferably, may coat the soil surface exposed at a density of 2 to 10 kg / m 2. If the surface density of the coating layer of the mulching material is less than 0.5 kg / m 2 , the mulching layer is too thin to wither the weed shoots on the soil surface or to prevent germination of the seeds of flying weeds, 15 kg If it exceeds / m 2 , the mulching effect is sufficient, but it is not preferable because it takes too much cost and labor, loses fertilizer to the plant, deteriorates air permeability, etc., and causes adverse effects on vegetation.
[0014]
As described above, the soil surface is covered with the mulching material, and the weed suppression mulching material according to the present invention has the effect of suppressing the growth of weeds from the seeds on the ground surface in addition to the effect of maintaining the soil temperature and preventing moisture transpiration. . In addition, germination of seeds of weeds flying on the surface of the mulching material after mulching application is also suppressed.
[0015]
The mechanism for suppressing the growth of small germinated weeds on the surface of the mulched soil and the germination of seeds of flying weeds is still unclear by the weed suppression mulching material of the vegetative soil of the present invention, However, it is clear that the germination of small weeds on the soil surface under the mulching material will turn yellow and die and will not germinate from weed and vegetable seeds artificially sprayed on the surface of the accumulated mulching material. It has been confirmed. From this, weed prevention action is estimated as follows. That is, since many sawdust and wood chips are still unfermented in livestock manure compost, it is considered that tannin and lignin components contained in these bark powders prevent weed germination and overgrowth.
[0016]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Hereinafter, the weed-suppressing mulching material for vegetation soil composed of a mixture of immature cow manure compost and soil according to the present invention will be described. FIG. 1 is a manufacturing flowchart thereof. As can be seen from Fig. 1, the waste from the barn is a waste that is regularly cleaned by mixing the manure excreted by the breeding cattle with the straw, sawdust, wood chips, etc. on the floor of the cattle farm. It is. Usually, a method of depositing and waiting for natural fermentation is also employed, but a fermenter is used for efficient treatment. In order to speed up the fermentation, the moisture is adjusted. In order to obtain a weed-suppressing mulching material, sawdust, wood chips and the like are used as the moisture adjusting material. The fermenter has a stirring blade for stirring back and always maintains optimum fermentation conditions. In some cases, fermenting bacteria may be added. Depending on the shape of the fermentation layer, turning back with a working machine such as a power shovel is effective instead of the stirring blade.
[0017]
The reason for using sawdust, wood chips, etc. as the flooring material and moisture control material in the breeding ground is that they contain a lot of bark and the tannin and lignin components prevent the weeds from growing. Therefore, it is not necessary to fermentate and ripen completely like organic fertilizers, and when used as a weed-suppressing mulching material, immature compost may be preferable to fully matured compost.
[0018]
Livestock manure compost with high tannin and lignin content can be used as a weed-controlling mulching material itself, but when mixed with soil, handling at the time of spraying is improved. Sometimes a soil improvement effect can be expected. As the soil, a mass soil containing an inorganic component effective for vegetation and having few soil microorganisms is preferable, and the soil is used at a volume ratio of about 1: 1. Furthermore, as necessary, about 2% of chemical fertilizer is added and mixed as a fertilizer component to obtain a mulching material.
[0019]
【Example】
Hereinafter, the configuration of the weed-suppressing mulching material of vegetation soil according to the present invention will be described with reference to specific examples.
[0020]
Example 1
The case where cow dung is used as livestock dung is described. In one section 5 horses worth of floor about 20m 2 of about 100 head of breeding field Wagyu laid about 2m 3 sawdust, because the manure that excretion of breeding cattle to come to contaminated mixed, about every about 1 week 0. 4 m 3 sawdust was added 4 times over a total of about 2 m 3 and a total of about 5 m 3 deposited after 1 month was discharged. About 100 m 3 of excreta from a breeding ground having such a size of 20 sections was treated. Table 1 shows the general composition of the compost material.
[0021]
[Table 1]
Figure 0004025168
[0022]
About 100 m 3 of excrement from the barn was deposited in a fermentation tank having a width of 4 m, a length of 15 m, and a depth of 2 m, and compressed air was ejected from the floor surface to effect aerobic fermentation. While the temperature rose to 80 ° C. and started to fall, it was transferred to the next fermentation tank every 10 to 20 days. This was moved 12 times to obtain cow manure compost having a maturity of 60 to 70%.
[0023]
A germination test was conducted with a mixture of 220 kg (about 0.6 m 3 ) of the obtained cow manure compost and 1 m 3 (about 1800 kg) of masa soil under a particle size of 12 mm, using seeds of vegetable radish instead of weed seeds. Here, the mixing ratio of cow manure compost and masa soil was changed at the same time. Each application rate is 10 L / m 2 = about 1 cm thickness. Table 2 shows the germination results after 15 days of sowing after irrigation once daily in a temperature range of about 25 to 17 ° C.
[0024]
[Table 2]
Figure 0004025168
[0025]
From the result of Table 2, the weed suppression mulching material of the vegetation soil of this invention is favorable in the range of the mixing ratio of cow manure compost and soil in the range of 30 to 70% capacity of cow manure compost and 70 to 30% capacity of soil. It turns out that the germination inhibitory effect is acquired. In other words, it can be seen that suppressed the germination of about 1 / 3-1 / 5 of the bare ground.
[0026]
Example 2
Pig dung discharged from the piggery is a rich manure excrement mixed with about 30% bedding. An approximately equal volume of sawdust was added to and mixed with about 1000 m 3 of this, charged into a fermented koji, and made into a pig manure compost having a maturity of about 75% in the same manner as cow manure compost. This was subjected to a germination test of 20 days radish under the same conditions as in Example 1. The results are shown in Table 3.
