Description
Claims (18)
- 第1の規格を用い媒体を介してデータを送信しながら局をスプーフする方法であって、
引き続く所定のメッセージ送信に要する時間周期以外の値にデュレーション値をセットするステップと、
上記デュレーション値を含む信号を、第2の規格にて既に使用されているアドレスに対して送信するステップであって、少なくとも一つの局がデュレーション値に従いネットワークアロケーションベクトルを更新する従属局であるステップとを、有する方法。 - 請求項1記載の方法であって、第1の規格が802.11規格である方法。
- 請求項2記載の方法であって、第2の規格が802.3規格である方法。
- 請求項3記載の方法であって、上記アドレスが802.3規格におけるPAUSEアドレスであり十六進表現にて01−80−C2−00−00−01で与えられる方法。
- 請求項1記載の方法であって、デュレーション値が従属局による送信を抑制する時間周期を表す方法。
- 請求項5記載の方法であって、従属局による送信が抑制されているとき未知のプロトコルによる送信が媒体を優先的に使用する方法。
- 請求項5記載の方法であって、従属局による送信が抑制されているとき隠れ局による送信が媒体を優先的に使用する方法。
- 請求項5記載の方法であって、従属局による送信が抑制されているとき至急の送信が媒体を優先的に使用する方法。
- 請求項5記載の方法であって、少なくともいくつかの局が互いに重複する基本サービスセット内に設けられており、従属局による送信が抑制されているとき当該重複する基本サービスセットの局が優先的に媒体を使用する方法。
- 請求項5記載の方法であって、従属局による送信が抑制されているとき規格の拡張版の局が媒体を優先的に使用する方法。
- 媒体を介しデータを送信しながら局をスプーフする方法であって、
引き続く所定のメッセージ送信に要する時間周期以外の値にデュレーション値をセットするステップと、
上記デュレーション値を含む第1の信号を送信するステップであって、少なくとも一つの局が、第1の信号後に第2の信号が検出されたときデュレーション値に従いネットワークアロケーションベクトルを更新し、第1の信号後に第2の信号が検出されなかったときネットワークアロケーションベクトルをリセットする従属局であるステップと、
上記デュレーション値を含む第3の信号を送信するステップであって、上記少なくとも一つの局が第1の信号後に第2の信号が検出されなかったためネットワークアロケーションベクトルをリセットした場合に、当該少なくとも一つの局が第3の信号に含まれるデュレーション値に従いネットワークアロケーションベクトルを更新するステップとを、有する方法。 - 請求項11記載の方法であって、第1の信号が送信要求信号、第2の信号が受信準備完了信号である方法。
- 請求項12記載の方法であって、第3の信号が受信準備完了信号である方法。
- 請求項11記載の方法であって、第3の信号が第2の信号の直後に送信される方法。
- 請求項11記載の方法であって、第3の信号が第1の信号の直後に送信される方法。
- 媒体を介しデータを送信しながら局をスプーフする方法であって、
引き続く所定のメッセージ送信に要する時間周期以外の値にデュレーション値をセットするステップと、
コンテンションフリーピリオド中に上記デュレーション値を含む信号を送信するステップであって、少なくとも一つの局が、デュレーション値に従いネットワークアロケーションベクトルを更新し、ネットワークアロケーションベクトルが更新された理由を記録し、ネットワークアロケーションベクトルが更新された理由に基づき、コンテンションフリーピリオド中に送信された引き続く信号のデュレーション値をいつ無視するか及び当該引き続く信号のデュレーション値にいつ従うかを決定する従属局であるステップとを、有する方法。 - 請求項16記載の方法であって、更に、上記引き続く信号のデュレーション値を無視したとき当該引き続く信号に対して応答するステップを含む方法。
- 請求項16記載の方法であって、上記引き続く信号が送信要求信号である方法。
