Description
(1)転輪球に適用した場合の問題点:
戦前から使用されていた帯状電極の構造は、安息香酸を主剤とした電解液に浮かべて電気を流す都合上、薬品に対して耐性のあるカーボンまたはグラファイトゴムの電極が使用されていた。
伝統的構造の帯状電極は戦前から使用されていたが、液槽も安息香酸を主剤とした電解液を介して転輪球に電気を流す都合上、薬品に対して耐性のあるカーボンまたはグラファイトゴムの電極が使用されていた。これらカーボンは必ずしも電気抵抗が少なくないので、転輪球と同様にアルミ鋳物でつくられた液槽の内面に導電性接着剤を利用するなどして貼りあわせ、電気抵抗を小さく改善した。
(1)電解液で満たした液槽内に浮上し、センターピンによりその回転中心が回転可能に支持されると共に回転体を内蔵した転輪球と、前記電解液を介して前記転輪球及び液槽の赤道部分及び底部近傍で対向配置される帯状電極及び皿状電極とを有し、これら対向配置される帯状電極及び皿状電極を経由して前記回転体に電源を供給するジャイロコンパスにおいて、
前記転輪球の赤道部分に形成する帯状電極は、耐腐食性かつ良導体である金属材であって、該金属表面の一部に絶縁皮膜が形成され、
前記転輪球の底部近傍に配置される前記皿状電極は、前記転輪球とは別材の皿状金属材で形成されている、
ことを特徴とするジャイロコンパス。
(1)赤道部分帯状電極からの給電も可能であり、新設計のジャイロコンパスを容易に実現することができる。
(2)液槽がプラスチックで形成されるジャイロコンパスにも適用できる汎用性をもち、伝統的な給電経路をもつジャイロコンパスにも使用でき、小型化低コスト化に貢献することができる。

Claims (5)
- 電解液で満たした液槽内に浮上し、センターピンによりその回転中心が回転可能に支持されると共に回転体を内蔵した転輪球と、前記電解液を介して前記転輪球及び液槽の赤道部分及び底部近傍で対向配置される帯状電極及び皿状電極とを有し、これら対向配置される帯状電極及び皿状電極を経由して前記回転体に電源を供給するジャイロコンパスにおいて、
前記転輪球の赤道部分に形成する帯状電極は、耐腐食性かつ良導体である金属材であって、該金属表面の一部に絶縁皮膜が形成され、
前記転輪球の底部近傍に配置される前記皿状電極は、前記転輪球とは別材の皿状金属材で形成されている、
ことを特徴とするジャイロコンパス。 - 前記転輪球の赤道部分において前記転輪球側の帯状電極と対向配置される前記液槽側の帯状電極が耐腐食性かつ良導体である金属材で形成されたことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のジャイロコンパス。
- 前記転輪球の底部近傍において対向配置される前記転輪球側の皿状電極及び前記液槽側の皿状電極が耐腐食性かつ良導体である金属材で形成されたことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のジャイロコンパス。
- 前記対向配置される帯状電極及び皿状電極は、チタン板材で形成されたことを特徴とする請求項1乃至3のいずれかに記載のジャイロコンパス。
- 前記対向配置される帯状電極及び皿状電極は、良導体である金属材の表面に耐腐食性のメッキを施して形成したことを特徴とする請求項1乃至3のいずれかに記載のジャイロコンパス。
