Description
【0001】
【0022】
σbmax=Eδ/D
【0023】
σa=Eδ/2D

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a rope type elevator, and more particularly, to an elevator using a wire rope in which a strand is covered with a resin material and the outer periphery of the rope is covered with a resin material.
[0002]
[Prior art]
A rope type elevator is equipped with a drive unit consisting of a motor, speed reducer, sheave, and baffle, and loads the car on one side of the main rope (hereinafter referred to as a rope) wrapped around the sheave and counterweight on the other side through the sheave. And a mechanism for raising and lowering the car and counterweight by friction between the rope and sheave.
[0003]
A rope is generally formed by further twisting strands formed by twisting steel strands. This steel rope satisfies the frictional characteristics and wear / fatigue characteristics necessary to lift and drive an elevator and is highly reliable.
[0004]
However, since the rope is a consumable item, it has a lifetime. There are four types of rope life factors. That is, fatigue due to bending extension to pass through the sheave, wear due to mutual movement of strands, wear of the outer rope layer wires due to contact with the groove wall surface of the sheave, and corrosion due to contact with the atmosphere is there. For this reason, the ratio (D / d) of the rope diameter d to the sheave diameter D is conventionally used with 40 or more secured for the purpose of reducing the influence of repeated bending of the sheave passage.
[0005]
On the other hand, the sheave diameter D is directly related to the driving torque of the motor required to raise and lower the car. Therefore, in order to reduce the size and weight of the elevator system including the motor, the sheave diameter may be reduced. Necessary.
[0006]
Further, since the steel rope is wound around a cast iron sheave and driven by friction, vibration and noise are generated from the metal contact when the rope is wound around the sheave, which affects the riding comfort.
[0007]
As a means to solve these problems, compared with steel strands, twisted synthetic fibers such as aramid fibers rich in flexibility, and further using a rope coated with a resin such as urethane to reduce the sheave diameter, JP-A-7-267534 describes a method for reducing vibration and noise.
[0008]
In addition, in order to determine the lifetime of the synthetic fiber rope coated with resin, conductive carbon fiber having a lower strength than the synthetic fiber is embedded inside the synthetic fiber rope, and this breakage is confirmed by voltage to check the rope. A method for determining the lifetime is described in JP-A-8-261972.
[0009]
On the other hand, the life of the rope becomes shorter as the contact pressure with the sheave increases. That is, the rope contact pressure (Prope) is proportional to the rope tension F and inversely proportional to the sheave diameter D. Therefore, when the sheave diameter is reduced, the pressure increases (Prope≈F / (Dd)).
[0010]
As a means to solve this, contact pressure with the sheave using a flat belt in which a plurality of strands made by twisting synthetic strands such as steel strands or aramid fibers are arranged in a row and these are coated with resin is used. PCT WO99 / 43885 describes a method for reducing the resistance and extending the life of the resin coated on the rope surface.
[0011]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
In order to reduce the diameter of the sheaves of mechanical systems using ropes such as rope-type elevators, reduce the size of the motors and hoists that drive the sheaves, and reduce the installation area of the mechanical system, the rope bending radius must be reduced. It is necessary to suppress the decrease in rope life and strength that accompany it.
[0012]
An object of the present invention is to provide a rope that secures safety and reliability by suppressing a decrease in the life and strength of the rope when the bending radius of the rope is reduced.
[0013]
Still another object of the present invention is to provide an elevator that secures safety and reliability by suppressing a decrease in the life and strength of a rope when the sheave diameter is reduced.
[0014]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to achieve the above object, the present invention forms a strand by twisting a plurality of strands coated with a resin material, configures a wire rope by twisting a plurality of the strands, and The outer periphery was covered with a resin material.
[0015]
Furthermore, in the elevator in which the car and the counterweight are connected by a plurality of ropes, and the rope is wound around a sheave driven by a motor and frictionally driven, a plurality of resin-coated steel strands are twisted together to form a strand. The present invention proposes an elevator in which a plurality of strands are twisted to form one rope, the outer periphery of the wire rope is covered with a resin material, and the shape of the cross section perpendicular to the axial direction of the wire rope is substantially circular.
[0016]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
An embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.
[0017]
The wire rope as the load supporting member is formed by further twisting strands formed by twisting steel strands. Because of its flexibility, the rope is used in a wide range of mechanical systems including elevators as a moving cord in the form of being wound around or wrapped around a sheave. Since ropes made of steel are consumable parts, extending their life contributes to improving the reliability and safety of mechanical systems.
[0018]
Factors affecting the life of steel ropes can be broadly classified into the following four. Fatigue due to bending and extension for passing through the sheave, wear due to mutual movement of the strands, wear of the rope outer layer strand due to contact with the groove wall surface of the sheave, and corrosion due to contact with the atmosphere. Among these, in order to reduce the effects of fatigue and wear due to repeated bending through the sheave, conventionally, the ratio (D / d) of the rope diameter d to the sheave diameter D has been focused, and more than a certain value for each mechanical system ( In the case of an elevator, 40 or more) is secured.
[0019]
Reduction of the sheave diameter D contributes to downsizing, space saving, or cost reduction of the mechanical system. The rope of the present invention has a structure shown in the following examples in order to eliminate the influence of the above four life factors as much as possible and realize a long life.
[0020]
FIG. 1 is a schematic sectional view of an embodiment of a rope according to the present invention. A wire rope 1 as a load supporting member is formed by twisting
[0021]
In order to reduce the sheave diameter, or in the case of an elevator, the ratio D / d of the rope diameter d to the sheave diameter D is 40 or less, which is the conventional value, the bending of the sheave passage is one of the above-mentioned life factors. The fatigue properties of the resulting rope 1 must be improved. Therefore, paying attention to the bending stress acting on the

Therefore, when the wire rope is constructed using the strands subjected to the fatigue test described above and the sheave of the elevator is reduced in diameter, the ratio D / d of the rope diameter d to the sheave diameter D is set to 40 or less. Must satisfy the following equation:
[0025]
Eδ / 2D <260 (MPa)
For example, in an elevator system using a conventional steel wire, the sheave diameter D is 500 mm, the rope diameter d is 12 mm, and the diameter δ of the wire constituting the rope 1 is 0.8 mm. The ratio D / d between the sheave diameter D and the rope diameter d is 41.7. On the other hand, when the wire rope having the configuration of this embodiment is used, the sheave diameter D is reduced to 200 mm, the rope diameter d is set to 12 mm, and the diameter δ of the strands constituting the rope 1 is set to about 0.50 mm. Then, D / d becomes 16.7. Further, when the sheave diameter D is reduced to 100 mm, the rope diameter d is 12 mm, and when the diameter δ of the wire constituting the rope 1 is about 0.25 mm, D / d is 8.3 mm.

On the other hand, ordinary twisted ropes have greater resistance to rotation that works in the direction in which the twist returns when tension is applied. From this, when applying the rope 1 of a present Example to the mechanical system where priority is given to suppressing rotation of the rope 1, the rope 1 twisted by the normal twist is used.

The sheave groove 8 is formed in a lining 9 attached to the sheave 7 and can be detached from the sheave 7. [0052]
In general, resin fiber ropes are denatured and become brittle by ultraviolet rays, and therefore cannot be used under conditions where sunlight directly or indirectly enters a hoistway such as a viewing elevator or an outdoor installation elevator. On the other hand, since the rope of the present invention uses a steel wire as a strength member that bears a load, the rope is not deteriorated by ultraviolet rays and can be used in the above-described environment.
[0053]
Furthermore, since the resin fiber rope changes in quality at about 200 to 700 degrees Celsius and extremely decreases in strength, when used in an elevator, the rope may break depending on the material at the time of building fire. In addition, when a flat belt with steel strands becomes hot due to a building fire, the exterior resin material that bundles the steel strands melts, making it easy for the steel strands to become entangled and the elevator malfunctioning. there is a possibility. On the other hand, since the rope of the present invention uses a steel wire as a strength member that bears the load, even if the inside of the hoistway becomes hot during a fire, the resin coating material only melts, and the strength is Like the wire rope, it is kept up to around 1000 degrees Celsius. Since elevators are prohibited from being used in the event of a building fire, the low durability of the rope during a building fire does not directly impair the safety of the elevator, but if the elevator is used during a building fire due to an unexpected situation As a countermeasure, the above effect is effective.
[0054]
Moreover, in the elevator comprised with the conventional wire rope, since the rope length becomes long and the rope supports the weight of rope itself as it becomes high lift, the problem that a rope intensity | strength must be increased further generate | occur | produces. On the other hand, the
[0055]
Since the rope of the present invention is lightweight, it is easy to carry in, carry out, route and remove the rope when installing the elevator and exchanging the rope.
[0056]
Moreover, in the combination of the conventional wire rope and steel sheave, noise is generated by the contact between the rope and the sheave. This is a remarkable tendency especially in a high-speed elevator where the sheave rotates at a high speed. On the other hand, when the rope of the present invention is used, the surface of the rope is covered with a softer resin than steel, so that the generation of contact noise can be suppressed regardless of whether the sheave is made of steel or resin.
[0057]
Furthermore, conventional wire ropes are impregnated with lubricating oil to prevent wear between strands or strands. However, this may cause oil pollution such as splashing of lubricating oil and adhesion to clothes. On the other hand, in the rope of the present invention, since no lubricating oil is used, no oil pollution occurs. In general, in an elevator, a wire rope is not exposed to a passenger mounting portion such as a passenger car, but the above-described effect is effective for preventing dirt on the hoistway wall and improving the working environment of maintenance and inspection workers.
[0058]
In addition, the resin fiber rope generally has a large initial elongation at the start of use, and when used in an elevator, the rope length must be adjusted after a certain time from installation. This is because the resin fiber itself is softer than the steel wire, so that it takes time to become familiar and adhere. On the other hand, since the center part of the rope of the present invention is made of a steel wire, the initial elongation is stabilized at an early stage and the need for adjusting the rope length again is small as in the case of the conventional wire rope.
[0059]
Since the surface of the rope of the present invention is coated with a resin, it can be colored in any color by selecting a resin type or mixing a pigment into the resin. As a result, in the observation elevator or outdoor type elevator, the building or hoistway and the

[0070]
The rope of the present invention can be used for applications other than the elevator described above. As one of them, a case where the present invention is applied to a lifting crane will be described. In general, the crane for lifting is often used outdoors or in a relatively large indoor space, and thus the ropes constituting the crane are easily exposed to wind and rain or dust. For this reason, the life of the rope is shortened due to rusting or wear due to dust. On the other hand, in the rope of this invention, since the rope surface is coat | covered with the resin layer, the steel strand wire part which is an intensity | strength structure part is not directly exposed to a rain and a dust. For this reason, a rope life can be lengthened compared with the conventional wire rope.
[0071]
Further, in the rope of the present invention, since it is easy to color the surface resin layer, by coloring it with a high visibility color, from the operator of the lifting crane or the worker who performs the slinging work in the vicinity Visualization is facilitated, and a crane for lifting with high safety and operability can be configured. In this case, the color of the rope surface resin layer is preferably yellow, orange or various fluorescent colors. However, if the surrounding environment is the same system as these colors and the visibility is not improved, it is needless to say that other colors may be used.
[0072]
As another example in which the rope of the present invention is used for purposes other than an elevator, a case where it is applied to a gondola or a lift used in a ski resort or the like will be described. These gondolas and lifts are also often used outdoors like the above-described lifting cranes, so the high life resistance obtained by the resin coating of the rope of the present invention has the effect of extending the rope life. Is obtained.
[0073]
Moreover, since the external appearance of the conventional wire rope is a state in which the steel wire is exposed, it cannot be said that it is suitable for the landscape of the ski resort. On the other hand, if the rope of this invention is used, since it is easy to color a surface resin layer, the lift which has the external appearance suitable for the landscape can be comprised. For example, when it is desired to make the presence of the lift inconspicuous, it is preferable to color the white or a light color close to white. On the other hand, when it is desired to make the erection direction of the lift stand out, colors with high visibility such as red, blue and green are suitable. Particularly, by making the rope colors of adjacent lifts different from each other, it is possible to easily determine in which direction the lift to be selected by the passenger is moving.
[0074]
Furthermore, in a chair type lift, a passenger sits directly under a wire rope. And depending on the state of the lubricating oil applied to the wire rope, there arises a problem that the clothes of the passengers become dirty due to the dripping of the lubricating oil. On the other hand, since the rope of the present invention does not require the application of lubricating oil, there is no risk of contaminating the clothes of the passengers.
[0075]
By the way, a rope used for a ski lift needs to be endless by joining both ends. The conventional wire rope is made endless by loosening the strands constituting the rope and performing a splicing process in which the strands at each end are knitted together. On the other hand, in the rope of the present invention, an endless rope is obtained by the following operation.
[0076]
First, the surface coating resin at each end is removed for a certain section. Next, the strand which comprises an internal steel rope is loosened, and the splice process which knits the strand of each edge part is given. Thereafter, the processed portion is again coated with the resin material.
[0077]
Here, when rainwater or the like permeates into the rope from the re-coating portion, the rope strength is reduced due to rusting. For this reason, re-coating must be at least by a highly waterproof method. As a preferred example, a structure in which a tube made of a heat-shrinkable resin is coated by heating or a resin tape with an adhesive material is wound is preferable. Further, when the space between the original surface resin layer and the re-coated resin is sealed with a sealing material, the waterproof property is further enhanced.
[0078]
【The invention's effect】
Since the present invention is configured as described above, when the diameter of the elevator sheave is reduced, it is possible to suppress or improve the decrease in the rope life that is a concern. For this reason, it is possible to improve the safety and reliability of the system by reducing the size and weight of the equipment such as the motor and the hoisting machine, saving the space for installing the elevator, and increasing the life of the rope.
