【発明の詳細な説明】

【発明の属する技術分野】本発明は、水平方向の移送軌
道を縦列かつ等間隔で次々と搬送される被包装物の回り
で、該被包装物と同速で移動する帯状フイルムを暫時筒
状に丸めてチューブ化する一方、前記チューブフイルム
の上下でそれぞれブロックモーションで作用しながら前
記被包装物間で前記チューブフイルムを扁平に挟圧溶着
するシール装置に関する。

【従来の技術】図6に示すごとく一般に、被包装物1を
縦列等間隔に収容したチューブフイルム2の水平移送軌
道3の上下で、ヒートバー4とシール台5とをそれぞれ
長円軌道6に沿ってブロックモーションさせ、ヒートバ
ーに埋設したヒータ7の熱によって、各被包装物の間で
チューブフイルム2を扁平に挟圧溶着する装置は公知で
ある。

【発明が解決しょうとする課題】しかし前記装置では、
ヒートバー4のブロックモーショによってフイルム2に
充分な時間、熱と圧力とを加えているが、フイルム2が
溶融状態のままヒートバー4とシール台5とが圧力を解
放するので、フイルム溶融部が分離しやすい欠点があつ
た。
【0004】またヒートバー4からヒータ7を除去し、
バー4とシール台5とがチューブフイルム2を挟圧する
たびに、バー4の下面に沿って設けたニクロム線にスン
パルス電流を印加したあと、シール台5の内部を流れる
水でフイルム溶融部を冷却するものがあるが、この種の
ものもインパルス電流を繰り返し印加し続けるとバー4
が徐々に高温になっていくので、短時間でフイルム溶融
部を固めのことができない欠点がある。

【課題を解決するための手段】本発明は短時間でフイル
ムを固めるために、チューブフイルムに等間隔収容した
各被包装物の間で上下から上部架材及び下部架材を接近
させ、前記上部架材下側のヒートバーと、前記下部架材
上側のシール台とで前記チューブフイルムを溶着する手
段であつて、前記ヒートバーを、上部架材に固定する上
部流体シリンダのピストンロッドに支持する一方、前記
チューブフイルムの移送方向に向け前記ヒートバー前後
に配置した一対の冷却ブロックの上端を、前記上部架材
にそれぞれ枢支する共に、該両冷却ブロックと前記ヒー
トバーとの間をパンタグラフリンクを介して連結し、通
常ヒートバー下面に被さる両冷却ブロックを、前記流体
シリンダによる両パンタグラフリンクを介したヒートバ
ーの下降運動でもって両側に開放するごとく構成する。

【作用】上下それぞれの長円軌道に沿って同調的に移動
する一対の平行な架材は、互いに上下に離れたあと、再
び接近する運動を繰り返し、互いに接近する一定時間の
間、上部架材に設けたヒートバーと、下部架材上のシー
ル台とはチューブフイルムを扁平化するので、このとき
上部架材上の上部流体シリンダによって前記ヒートバー
を前記シール台に押しつけることにより、前記チューブ
フイルムを挟圧かつ溶着することができる。
【0007】なお、前記上部架設材にピンを介して枢支
し且つヒートバーの前後に設けた冷却用ブロックは、前
記ヒートバーに対してパンタグラフリンクを介して連結
しているので、上部流体シリンダによるヒートバーの下
降運動によって、自動的にヒートバーの下降域から開放
方向に退避しており、従ってチューブフイルムを挟圧す
るヒートバーを上部流体シリンダで引き上げる反動によ
り該両冷却用ブロックは互いに元の定位置に復帰するの
で、チューブフイルムの溶融部は両冷却用ブロック下端
の脱熱要素の接触でもって冷却される。
【0008】冷却用ブロックによるフイルム溶融部の冷
却は、ヒートバーをフイルムから完全に引き離して行う
ものであり、従ってフイルム溶融部の冷却を短時間で確
実に行える。

【実施例】図1に示すごとく、被包装物11を収容した
チューブフイルム10の水平移送軌道12を隔て、上部
架材13と下部架材14とがそれぞれ長円軌道に沿って
同調的に回転するように形成する。
【0010】図2に示すように、上下それぞれの長円形
の溝16に係合したピン17をペラ18の回転で前記溝
16に沿って移動させることが可能であるから、これら
ピン17を、図1の上下両架材13,14に連結するこ
とにより、両架材は長円軌道15に沿って回転する。こ
の場合、上部架材13から垂下したガイド棒50に対し
て下部架材14をスライド自在に係合しているから、上
下架材13,14は傾きなく長円軌道を回転する。
【0011】図3に示すように上下架材13,14は横
方向に細長く互いに平行であり、図面は片方のみを図示
するが、その両端にそれぞれ突き出たピン17は、それ
に被せたコロ19が長円溝16に係合し、同両架材1
3,14はペラ18の回転で溝16に沿って動かすこと
ができる。また上部架材上に設けた上部流体シリンダ2
1のピストンロッド22の下端に固定したヒートバー2
3は、下部架材14に固定したシール台24と対設し、
下部架材の下側の下部流体シリンダ25のピストンロッ
ド26の上端は、シール台内部の切断刃27を支持す
る。
【0012】図1において、チューブフイルムの移送軌
道12に向けてヒートバー23の前後にそれぞれ設けた
冷却用ブロック31,32は、上部に連接するアーム3
3,34をピン35,36を介して上部架材13に枢支
する一方、ヒートバー23と前記両冷却用ブロック3
1,32とを2枚の逆V字形のリンク37,38で連結
している。
【0013】図5においてピストンロツド22の軸方向
にヒートバー23を押すと、ヒートバー23とその前後
の冷却用ブロック31,32を結ぶリンク37,38は
パンタグラフのように前後に張り出すので、ピン35,
36でもって上部架材(図示省略)に枢支した1対の冷
却用バー31,32は前記ピン35,36を軸に左右に
開放する。これは図4に示す状態であり、1対の冷却用
ブロック31,32はヒートバー23の下降を妨害しな
い区域に退避するので、チューブフイルム10をヒート
バー23とシール台との間で挟圧して溶着する。その直
後矢印40とは逆方向にピストンロツド22を吊り上げ
ると、両冷却用ブロックの湾曲させて形成した脱熱要素
41,42がフイルム溶着箇所に沿って接近(図1の状
態)し、冷却用ブロックに形成した通路内を流れる冷却
水のエネルギーによってフイルムを冷却する。
【0014】図4に示すようにヒートバー23の下面中
央には切断刃27が突入するスリット43を形成してい
るので、図1における下部流体シリンダ25で切断刃2
7を押しあげてフイルム溶着部を切断することができ
る。

Claims (3)

    (57)【特許請求の範囲】
  1. 【請求項1】 チューブフイルムに等間隔収容した各被
    包装物の間で上下から上部架材及び下部架材を接近さ
    せ、前記上部架材下側のヒートバーと、前記下部架材上
    側のシール台とで前記チューブフイルムを溶着する手段
    であつて、前記ヒートバーを、上部架材に固定する上部
    流体シリンダのピストンロッドに支持する一方、前記チ
    ューブフイルムの移送方向に向け前記ヒートバー前後に
    配置した一対の冷却ブロックの上端を、前記上部架材に
    それぞれ枢支する共に、該両冷却ブロックと前記ヒート
    バーとの間をパンタグラフリンクを介して連結し、通常
    ヒートバー下面に被さる両冷却ブロックを、前記流体シ
    リンダによる両パンタグラフリンクを介したヒートバー
    の下降運動でもって両側に開放する装置。
  2. 【請求項2】 シール台中間に刃先を上向きに配置した
    切断刃と、下部架材下面に固定した下部流体シリンダか
    ら上向きに突き出すピストンロッドとを連結する一方、
    ヒートバー下面中間に、前記切断刃突入用スリットを形
    成する請求項1に記載の装置。
  3. 【請求項3】 ヒートバー及びシール台を支持する上下
    両架材をそれぞれ、チューブフイルムの移送軌道に沿っ
    て形成される長円軌道に沿って同調回転させ、これら長
    円軌道の一部領域でヒートバーと冷却ブロックとを順次
    チューブフイルムに接触させる請求項1及び2に記載の
    装置。
