Description
する携帯型の機器に関し、特に電池パックの短絡事故を
防止するための構造に関するものである。
ックは、短絡事故を防止するために携帯機器への装着を
検出する検知スイッチや充電器への装着を検出する検知
スイッチを設け、それぞれ装着されたときのみ出力回
路、そして充電回路をクローズするようにされている。
したがって、装着されていないときは回路がオープン状
態になるので、短絡事故が防止される。
3号等に基づく構成を図2に示す。図2(a)は携帯電
話機50を示す斜視図、(b)は電池パックの斜視図、
(c)は電池パックを逆側から見た斜視図、(d)は電
池パック10の内部の回路構成図である。
納しており、またその外表面の下端辺近傍の一面には該
2次電池31への充電用の2つの充電端子11、13を
露出して設け、またその反対側の面には携帯電話機50
への出力用の出力端子15、17を露出して設けてい
る。電池パック10の上部には携帯電話機50に着脱自
在にスナップインするための爪19が設けられている。
また、電池パック10の底には、携帯電話機50のフッ
ク57、59が嵌まる図示せぬ係合凹部がそれぞれ形成
されており、爪19でスナップインするためには、はじ
めに底の係合凹部にフック57、59を引っ掛けて、電
池パック10を携帯電話機50の凹部51方向に押圧す
ることになる。このようにして装着した電池パック10
の出力端子15、17は携帯電話機50の入力端子5
3、55に圧接される。
部10aが設けられ、この中に電池パック10内に内蔵
した機械式スイッチ39のオンオフ用の突起25が配置
されている。携帯電話機50の凹部51には突起52が
設けられており、電池パック10の装着により突起52
が凹部10aに挿入し、突起25を押して機械式スイッ
チ39をオンする。
下部には、図3に示す充電器60に設けたガイド突起6
7が挿入係合するガイド溝21が設けられている。反対
側の側面にも同様に、ガイド溝22が設けられ、図3の
充電器60のガイド突起67の反対側に同様に設けられ
た図示せぬガイド突起が挿入係合する。
10内に内蔵した機械式スイッチ37のオンオフ用の突
起23が突出している。この突起23はガイド溝21の
外には突出していない。
の2次電池31には充電端子11、13と出力端子1
5、17が接続されており、充電端子13と2次電池3
1の間と出力端子17と2次電池31の間にはそれぞれ
スイッチング用のトランジスタ(FET)33,35が
接続されている。トランジスタ33、35のゲート側に
はそれぞれ機械式スイッチ37、39接続されている。

は電池パック10を収納するための凹部61が設けられ
ており、且つ該凹部61内の側壁には、前記電池パック
10に設けた充電端子11、13に圧接接続する出力端
子63、65と、前記電池パック10に設けたガイド溝
21、22に挿入して電池パック10を所定位置に支持
するガイド突起67、(向かって左側の側壁のものは図
示せず)が設けられている。電池パック10を充電器6
0の凹部61内に装着した場合(電池パック10単独状
態又は携帯電話機50に装着した状態のいずれかの状態
で装着)は、電池パック10の充電端子11、13に充
電器60の出力端子63、65が圧接接続され、同時に
ガイド突起67はガイド溝21内の突起23を押圧して
スイッチ37をオンする。突起23は細いガイド溝21
内に位置しているので、充電器60に装着していない状
態では誤ってこの突起23がオンされる恐れは極めて少
なく、その誤動作を確実に防止できる。
電話機50に装着していないときはスイッチ39がオフ
なので、トランジスタ35もオフである。つまり2次電
池31と出力端子17間がオフなので、たとえ両出力端
子11、13間を短絡しても短絡電流は流れない。ま
た、電池パック10を充電器60に装着していないとき
はスイッチ37がオフなので、トランジスタ33もオフ
である。つまり2次電池31と充電端子13間はオフな
ので、たとえ両充電端子11、13間を短絡しても、短
絡電流が流れる恐れはない。
て、電池パック10の充電端子11、13側のスイッチ
37は、充電器60に装着するための既存のガイド溝2
1内に突起23を内部から突出させたものであり、スイ
ッチ37は充電器60側の既存のガイド突起67によっ
て突起23が押されて作動されるので、突起23を配置
するガイド溝21凹部も突起23を押圧するためのガイ
ド突起67もスイッチ37のために特別にスペースを確
保して設けたものではない。
15、17側のスイッチ39は、スイッチ39のために
電池パック10にスペースを確保して専用の凹部10a
(リブ)を設けて突起25を配設し、携帯電話機50に
は凹部10aの位置に合わせて専用の突起52(ボス)
を設けている。そのためスペース効率が悪く、携帯電話
機の小型化やデザインに支障をきたす。
ため、代表的には携帯電話機のような携帯機器に装着す
る電池パックに関し、短絡防止機構のレイアウトの改善
を目的とするものである。
フックと、このフックに係合する電池パック側の係合凹
部とでなる電池パック装着構造を利用し、電池パックの
係合凹部内には出力回路の開閉スイッチを配置し、この
開閉スイッチを出力端子間において2次電池と並列に接
続するとともに、前記開閉スイッチ、2次電池、及び出
力端子との間にトランジスタを設けて出力回路を構成
し、装着時にフックで内部の開閉スイッチをオンさせ
る。
次電池を収納するとともに、その表面に2次電池への充
電端子と2次電池からの出力端子とをそれぞれ設け、携
帯機器への装着構造として携帯機器の装着部に形成され
たフックに係合する係合凹部が設けられ、前記係合凹部
内に2次電池の出力回路の開閉スイッチをオン/オフす
る付勢部材が配設され、携帯機器への装着時に前記フッ
クにより付勢部材が押圧され開閉スイッチがオンされて
出力回路がクローズ状態になり、非装着時に付勢部材へ
の前記押圧が解除され開閉スイッチがオフされて出力回
路がオープン状態になることを特徴とする電池パックで
ある。
明の実施の形態を示すものであり、(a)は携帯電話機
の内部構造を省略した側断面図、(b)は電池パックの
側断面図、(c)は(b)の要部拡大図を示す。なお、
従来例を説明する図2(a)(b)(c)と同一部位に
は同一符号を示した。また、本実施の形態における電池
パックの回路構成は、図2(d)と同一のものとする。

である。この係合凹部10b内に付勢部材としてバネ2
6が配設されている。したがって、同図(b)に示す電
池パック10を携帯電話機50に装着するため、はじめ
に係合凹部10b並びにもう一つの図示せぬ係合凹部を
携帯電話機50のフック57、59に引っ掛け、電池パ
ック10を携帯電話機50の凹部51の方向に押し込
み、爪19が携帯電話機50の係合凹部56に嵌まるこ
とにより電池パック10の装着は完了するが、この状態
でフック57により係合凹部10b内のバネ26が矢印
方向に押され内部の機械式スイッチ39をオンし、図2
(d)に示す出力端子15、17を含む電池パック10
の出力回路がクローズされる。
爪19を引き電池パック10を携帯電話機50の凹部5
1から取り外すと、フック57が係合凹部10bから外
れ、バネ26の押圧が解除されるので機械式スイッチ3
9がオフされ、図2(d)に示す出力端子15、17を
含む出力回路はオープンになる。
クの短絡事故防止のための構造のために専用のスペース
を確保する必要がなく、小型化やデザイン性を損なうボ
スやリブを新たに設けることなく、携帯機器と電池パッ
クとの既存の装着構造を利用してスイッチを安定して作
動させることができる。

Claims (1)
- 【請求項1】電池パックの内部に2次電池を収納し、前
記電池パックの表面には2次電池への充電端子と2次電
池からの出力端子及び携帯機器の装着部に形成されたフ
ックと係合する係合凹部をそれぞれ備え、該係合凹部内
には2次電池の出力回路の開閉スイッチが配設され、該
開閉スイッチを前記出力端子間において前記2次電池と
並列接続するとともに、前記開閉スイッチ、2次電池、
及び出力端子との間にトランジスタを設けて出力回路を
構成し、携帯機器への装着時に前記フックに押圧され開
閉スイッチがオンされて出力回路がクローズ状態にな
り、非装着時に前記押圧が解除され開閉スイッチがオフ
されて出力回路がオープン状態になることを特徴とする
電池パック。
