【発明の詳細な説明】

【産業上の利用分野】この発明は、使い捨ておむつに関
する。
【０００２】
【従来の技術】図２は、従来の使い捨ておむつ５０の一
例を示す部分破断斜視図である。おむつ５０は、透液性
表面シート２と、不透液性裏面シート３と、これらの間
に介在する吸液性コア４とを有し、左右脚周り側縁と前
後身頃５，６の胴周り端縁とには、脚周り弾性部材５１
と胴周り弾性部材５２とを有する。後身頃６の両側縁に
は前身頃５に連結するためのテープファスナー８が取り
付けてある。なお、おむつ５０は、その長手方向におい
て前後身頃の中間に股下部７を有する。開放型使い捨て
おむつにおいて、かかる構造は一般的である。
【０００３】また、従来技術の一つである特開平４−２
８９２０１号公報には、パンツ型の使い捨ておむつにお
いて、前後身頃の胴周り方向に弾性部材を幅広く貼着
し、身頃を広範囲にわたって伸縮性にする技術が開示さ
れている。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】図２に示した従来技術
の使い捨ておむつは、これを着用すると弾性部材が存在
する脚周り側縁と、胴周り端縁とが着用者の肌に密着す
る。しかし、前後身頃５，６は、その端縁を除き、それ
よりも股下部寄りの部分は、一般に肌に密着し難く、だ
ぶだぶして着用感を損ねたり、排泄された尿を速やかに
吸収し難いという問題がある。
【０００５】従来、このような問題を解決するために、
表面シートや裏面シートに伸縮性素材を利用する技術が
ある。しかし、この場合には、素材が高価であり、原料
コストのアップを避け難いという問題がある。
【０００６】前記特開平４−２８９２０１号公報の技術
では、比較的安価な糸ゴムを使用して、前記問題を解決
しようとしているが、この技術の場合には、おむつの幅
方向に複数本の糸ゴムを貼着して胴周り弾性部材とする
一方、この糸ゴムと交叉するおむつ長手方向にも糸ゴム
を貼着して脚周り弾性部材としなければならず、これら
二方向に糸ゴムを貼着するためにそれぞれ別個の工程が
必要となって、生産ラインが長くなり、機械設備も増え
て、おむつの生産コストをアップさせる一因になるとい
う問題がある。
【０００７】そこで、この発明は、安価なゴム弾性糸か
らなる左右脚周りの弾性部材の各々を、前後身頃の各々
において折曲し、左脚周り弾性部材が右胴周り側縁にま
で、また、右脚周り弾性部材が左胴周り側縁にまで延在
するように配置することにより、前記従来技術の問題を
解決することを課題にしている。

【課題を解決するための手段】この発明が前記課題を解
決するために手段とするところは、以下のとおりであ
る。
【０００９】この発明が前提とするところは、透液性表
面シートと不透液性裏面シートとの間に吸液性コアが介
在し、胴周りと左右脚周りとに弾性部材を有する使い捨
ておむつである。
【００１０】かかる前提において、各脚周り弾性部材が
股下部から前後身頃方向へ並行して延びる複数本のゴム
弾性糸からなり、前後身頃の各々において折曲して左脚
周り弾性部材は右胴周り側縁に、右脚周り弾性部材は左
胴周り側縁にまで延在していることが、この発明の特徴
である。
【００１１】かかるおむつの好ましい実施態様において
は、前記並行する複数本のゴム弾性糸の相互間隔が、脚
周りから胴周り側縁に近づくにつれて次第に拡開してい
る。

【作用】このように構成した使い捨ておむつにおいて
は、前後身頃の各々において、左脚周り弾性伸縮部材は
折曲して右胴周り側縁にまで延在し、右脚周り弾性伸縮
部材は折曲して左胴周り側縁にまで延在することによ
り、前後身頃が胴周り方向へ伸縮可能になる。したがっ
て、このおむつでは胴周り端縁のみならず、端縁から股
下部にかけての身頃部分も着用者の肌に密着可能にな
る。

【実施例】この発明に係る使い捨ておむつの詳細を、添
付の図面を参照して説明すると、以下のとおりである。
なお、図２に示した従来技術のおむつと共通する部材に
ついては、同じ参照符号を使用する。
【００１４】図１は、使い捨ておむつ１の部分破断斜視
図である。このおむつ１が、透液性表面シート２と、不
透液性裏面シート３と、これら両シート２，３間に介在
する吸液性コア４とによって構成されていること、前後
身頃５，６の胴周り端縁に弾性部材５２を有すること、
および後身頃６の左右胴周り側縁１６，１８にテープフ
ァスナー８を有することは、図２の従来技術のおむつ５
０と同じであるから、それらについての説明を省略す
る。
【００１５】おむつ１は、股下部７の左右脚周り側縁１
３，１４の内側に弾性部材１１，１２を有する。各弾性
部材１１，１２は、複数本のゴム弾性糸１１Ａ，１１
Ｂ，１１Ｃおよび１２Ａ，１２Ｂ，１２Ｃからなり、こ
れらゴム弾性糸は、股下部７から前後身頃５，６方向へ
延びて、その先が折曲し、左脚周りのゴム弾性糸１１
Ａ，１１Ｂ，１１Ｃは、前後身頃の右胴周り側縁１７，
１８にまで延在する一方、右脚周りのゴム弾性糸１２
Ａ，１２Ｂ，１２Ｃは、前後身頃の左胴周り側縁１５，
１６にまで延在し、前後身頃の中央部でゴム弾性糸１１
Ａ，１１Ｂ，１１Ｃと交差している。ゴム弾性糸は、裏
面シート３の内面に伸長状態で貼着してあり、股下部７
では、吸液性コア４の各側縁よりも外側に位置するとと
もに、互いにほぼ平行になっている。従って、ゴム弾性
糸１１Ａ，１１Ｂ，１１Ｃ及び１２Ａ，１２Ｂ，１２Ｃ
の股下部７に位置する部分と前後身頃５，６に位置する
部分とが環状シール部１９を形成し、この環状シール部
１９がおむつの中央域を囲撓している。前後身頃５，６
では、ゴム弾性糸は、脚周りから胴周り側縁方向にかけ
て山なりの線を描き、胴周り側縁に近づくにつれて互い
の離間距離が大きくなっている。また、各ゴム弾性糸に
おいて、股下部７に位置する部分はＬ７、前後身頃５，
６に位置する部分はＬ５，Ｌ６であり、部分Ｌ７の伸長
応力は部分Ｌ５，Ｌ６のそれよりも高くしてある。
【００１６】このように構成したおむつ１を着用する
と、胴周り端縁が弾性部材５２によって肌に密着するこ
とに加え、脚周りがゴム弾性糸の部分Ｌ７によって密着
し、前後身頃５，６がゴム弾性糸の部分Ｌ５，Ｌ６の胴
周り方向の収縮力によって肌に密着する。もっとも、吸
液性コア４は比較的に剛性であるから、この収縮力によ
る密着効果を高めるためには、吸液性コア４を前後身頃
５，６において裏面シート３に接合しないようにしても
よい。必要であれば、吸液性コア４は、表面シート２に
接合するか、股下部７において裏面シート３に接合す
る。
【００１７】おむつ１において、表面シート２には不織
布や開孔プラスチックフィルム、裏面シート３にはポリ
エチレンなどのプラスチックフィルム、吸液性コア４に
は粉砕パルプと高吸水性ポリマーとの混合物などを使用
することができる。
【００１８】また、ゴム弾性糸１１Ａ，１１Ｂ，１１Ｃ
や１２Ａ，１２Ｂ，１２Ｃを所要のパターンに配置する
には、例えば特開平４ー３１７６４９号公報に開示され
た技術を利用することができる。この技術によれば、脚
周りから胴周り側縁にかけて弾性部材を配置する作業が
比較的簡単な装置により、一工程で処理できる。

【発明の効果】この発明に係る使い捨ておむつは、裏面
シートの前後身頃において、左脚周り弾性部材が右胴周
り側縁にまで延在し、右脚周り弾性部材が左胴周り側縁
にまで延在するようにしてあるから、これら前後身頃の
胴周り方向に収縮力が作用し、前後身頃を着用者の肌に
密着させることができる。その結果、前後身頃はだぶつ
くことがない。
【００２０】弾性部材には、比較的安価なゴム弾性糸を
使用できるから、表裏面シートに伸縮性素材を使用して
前後身頃を伸縮性にする場合に比べ、原料コストのアッ
プを抑えることが可能になる。
【００２１】脚周りと前後身頃への弾性部材の供給が一
工程となり、脚周りと身頃のゴム弾性糸の供給が別々な
工程からなる場合に比べ、工程が単純で、生産性を向上
させることができる。

    (57)【特許請求の範囲】
  1. 【請求項１】透液性表面シートと不透液性裏面シートと
    の間に吸液性コアが介在し、胴周りと左右脚周りとに弾
    性部材を有する使い捨ておむつにおいて、 前記各脚周りの弾性部材が股下部から前後身頃方向へ並
    行して延びる複数本のゴム弾性糸からなり、前後身頃の
    各々において折曲し左脚周り弾性部材は右胴周り側縁
    に、右脚周り弾性部材は左胴周り側縁にまで延在してい
    ることを特徴とする前記おむつ。
  2. 【請求項２】前記複数本のゴム弾性糸の相互間隔が脚周
    りから胴周り側縁に近づくにつれて次第に拡開している
    請求項１に記載のおむつ。
