Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 〔産業上の利用分野〕 本発明は、3個以上の樹脂製部品からなる樹脂製品の
製造における樹脂製部品の振動溶着による接合方法に関
する。
〔従来の技術〕
従来から、3個以上の樹脂製部品、たとえば互いに対
向した開口縁において接合した一対のカップ状の樹脂製
ケースと、該ケースの内部空間を仕切るように設けられ
た樹脂製プレート等からなる樹脂製品の製造において、
これら各樹脂製部品を振動溶着により互いに一体に接合
するには、第3図および第4図に示すような方法で行な
われている。
すなわち、図中(101)はカップ状の樹脂製の上ケー
ス、(103)は上端開口部においてこの上ケース(101)
は下端開口部と対向して接合する樹脂製の下ケース、
(102)は両ケース(101)(103)の間の空間を仕切る
ように設けられる樹脂製の中プレートである。
これら3部品(101)(102)(103)は、第3図のよ
うに、その縁部(104)(105)(106)を互いに加圧重
合して振動を加え、その摩擦熱によって、上ケース縁部
(104)下面に突設した接合面(107)と中プレート縁部
(105)上面の接合面(108)、該中プレート縁部(10
5)下面に突設した接合面(109)と下プレート縁部(10
6)上面の接合面(110)を、第4図のように溶着(W1)
(W2)するものである。
〔発明が解決しようとする課題〕
しかし、上記従来の接合方法によると、3部品(10
1)(102)(103)を同時に接合することができず、す
なわち接合面(107)(108)の溶着工程と、接合面(10
9)(110)の溶着工程のいずれか一方を先に行なった後
で他方の溶着工程を行なう必要があり、加工工数が多い
という問題があった。しかも溶着(W1)(W2)部が上下
に並ぶことから、接合部としての縁部(104)(105)
(106)を大きく形成する必要があり、樹脂材料の消費
量が大きかった。
本発明は、このような点に鑑み、加工工数および材料
コストの削減を課題としてなされたものである。
〔課題を解決するための手段〕
上記課題を解決するため、本発明に係る樹脂製部品の
接合方法は、3個以上の樹脂製部品を接合する方法にお
いて、特定の樹脂製部品に、他の2個以上の樹脂製部品
に形成した各接合面に跨がって対向する位置にあって該
接合面に同時に接触可能な突起状の接合面を形成し、前
記特定の樹脂製部品の接合面と、他の2個以上の樹脂製
部品の各接合面を互いに接触させて前記突起状の接合面
を形成した特定の樹脂製部品本体が他の2個の樹脂製部
品に接触するまで振動溶着するものである。
〔作 用〕
本発明によると、特定の樹脂製部品に形成した接合面
が他の2個以上の樹脂製部品に形成した各接合面に跨が
って接触し、しかも該各接合面に同時に接触させること
ができるので、3個以上の樹脂製部品を同時に振動溶着
することができる。
〔実 施 例〕
以下、本発明を、第1図および第2図に示す一実施例
を参照しながら説明する。
すなわち、図中(1)はカップ状の樹脂製部品である
上ケース、(3)は上端開口部においてこの上ケース
(1)の下端開口部と対向して接合する樹脂製部品であ
る下ケース、(2)は両ケース(1)(3)の間の空間
を仕切るように設けられる樹脂製部品である中プレート
である。
上ケース(1)の縁部(4)下面には、接合面(7)
が突設形成されている。また、中プレート(2)の縁部
(5)の上面および下ケース(3)の縁部(6)の上面
には、それぞれ接合面(8)(9)が形成されている。
中プレート(2)の縁部(5)は、第1図に示すよう
に、下ケース(3)の縁部(6)の内周に嵌め込まれる
ようになっていて、この状態において中プレート(2)
の接合面(8)と下ケース(3)の接合面(9)は同一
平面をなし、中プレート(2)の接合面(8)は上ケー
ス(1)の接合面(7)の内周寄りの位置に対向し、下
ケース(3)の接合面(9)は上ケース(1)の接合面
(7)の外周寄りの位置に対向するように形成されてい
る。また、第1図の組合わせ状態において、上ケース
(1)の縁部(4)とこれに対向する中プレート(2)
の縁部(5)および下ケース(3)の縁部(6)の間に
は、前記接合面(7)および(8)(9)の内外周に位
置して、バリ溜まり空間(10)(11)が形成される。
次に、上記3部品(1)(2)(3)の溶着工程を説
明すると、まずこの3部品(1)(2)(3)を第1図
の組合わせ状態とする。この状態において、下ケース
(3)の縁部(6)と中プレート(2)の縁部(5)は
互いに嵌合しており、かつ両縁部(5)(6)上面の接
合面(8)(9)は双方とも上ケース(1)の縁部
(4)下面の結合面(7)と接触している。
ここで、第1図中矢印Yで示すように上ケース(1)
の接合面(7)を中プレート(2)および下ケース
(3)の両接合面(8)(9)に加圧しつつ、上ケース
(1)を第1図中矢印X,X′で示す方向に加振すると、
接合面(7)と相手接合面(8)(9)は互いに摺擦
し、その摩擦熱によりその摺擦部が溶融する。そして前
記Y方向への加圧により溶融バリ(12)が内外周のバリ
溜まり空間(10)(11)へ押し出され、所定時間経過後
に上ケース(1)の加振を停止することによって、第2
図に示すように溶着部(W)が形成される。
したがってこの実施例によると、3部品(1)(2)
(3)を溶着部(W)において同時に溶着することがで
きるほか、中プレート(2)の縁部(5)が下ケース
(3)の縁部(6)内周に嵌合される構造であって溶着
部(W)が一箇所に形成されるので、各部品(1)
(2)(3)の縁部(4)(5)(6)が比較的小さな
ものでよいといった利点がある。
なお、本発明は図示の実施例に限定されるものではな
く、接合部の形状は種々のものが考えられるとともに、
4部品あるいはそれ以上の部品の接合についても同様に
実施可能である。
〔発明の効果〕
以上、本発明によると、3個以上の樹脂製部品からな
る樹脂製品の製造において、各部品を同時に溶着するこ
とができるので、加工工数が削減され、また接合される
部位を小さくすることが可能であるので、樹脂材料の消
費量も低減できるといった優れた効果を奏する。また突
起状の接合面を形成した特定の樹脂製部品本体が他の2
個の樹脂製部品に接触するまで振動溶着するため、溶着
深さを正確に特定することができる。

  1. 【請求項1】3個以上の樹脂製部品(1)(2)(3)
    を接合する方法において、特定の樹脂製部品(1)に、
    他の2個以上の樹脂製部品(2)(3)に形成した各接
    合面(8)(9)に跨がって対向する位置にあって該各
    接合面(8)(9)に同時に接触可能な突起状の接合面
    (7)を形成し、前記特定の樹脂製部品(1)の接合面
    (7)と、他の2個以上の樹脂製部品(2)(3)の接
    合面(8)(9)を互いに接触させて前記突起状の接合
    面(7)を形成した特定の樹脂製部品(1)本体が他の
    2個の樹脂製部品(2)(3)に接触するまで振動溶着
    することを特徴とする樹脂製部品の接合方法。
