Recently, dietary fiber has been used to prevent obesity, reduce obesity, improve carbohydrate metabolism, improve lipid metabolism, improve physiology of the digestive tract such as promoting bowel movement, prevent gallstones, prevent colorectal cancer, reduce toxicity of harmful substances, etc. Has been shown to be effective, and its importance has been reaffirmed. However, in recent years, the dietary fiber intake has tended to decrease with the westernization of dietary habits, and the necessity of dietary fiber intake has been called out. And, for the purpose of supplementing the insufficiency of ingestion of dietary fiber, it is possible to ingest inexpensive wheat bran, rice bran or other rice bran as it is or in addition to other foods, containing a relatively large amount of dietary fiber. It is being carried out (Japanese Patent Publication No. 62-16621).

By the way, when bran such as wheat bran is eaten as it is or added to other foods, it is necessary to ingest a large amount of bran in order for it to function effectively as a dietary fiber. However, rice bran, such as wheat bran, is inferior in taste, as is clear from the fact that it has been widely used as animal feed rather than human food, and it is difficult to consume them in large quantities. It was difficult.

The present inventors have been conducting various studies on more effective dietary fiber, and on the treatment and effective use of wheat bran containing a large amount of dietary fiber. One of such studies is to grind wheat bran. A method for efficiently obtaining each of the high fiber content category and the low fiber content category (high protein category) by classification was proposed and proposed earlier (Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 1-206962 and Japanese Patent No. 2549411).

The present inventors can achieve the above objects such as obesity prevention in a smaller amount than conventional wheat bran, thereby more easily ingested than conventional wheat bran, food that does not impair the taste and flavor of foods and the like We have been studying the discovery and development of fiber, and the effective use of each of the above-mentioned high fiber content category and low fiber content category obtained by grinding and classifying wheat bran. As a result, unexpectedly, the high fiber content category with a fiber content of 65% by weight or more, obtained by crushing and classifying wheat bran, has a crude protein content, an ash content, and a fat content content that are higher than those of conventional wheat bran. With a small amount, to prevent the above obesity, reduce weight, improve carbohydrate metabolism, improve lipid metabolism, improve physiology of the digestive tract such as promoting bowel movement, prevent gallstones, prevent colorectal cancer, reduce toxicity of harmful substances, etc. The present invention was found to be even more effective, and the present invention was completed.

The dietary fiber product of the present invention, that is, the high fiber content section obtained by pulverizing and classifying wheat bran is prepared, for example, by the following method. Among the sections prepared by the following pulverization / classification treatment, section C corresponds to the dietary fiber product (high fiber content section) of the present invention. The C-class is usually classified into the following Tables with respect to the untreated wheat bran and the A- and B-classes classified as low fiber content classes, and the D-classes classified as pericarp peel / ariyuron layer binding powder. Each component is contained at a ratio as shown in 1, and its crude protein content is usually reduced to about 0.5 to 0.8 when the crude protein content of untreated wheat bran is 1;
The dietary fiber content of the untreated wheat bran is extremely high, about 1.3 to 1.9, when the dietary fiber content of the untreated wheat bran is 1.

Example 1 (Preparation of a dietary fiber product) 1000 kg of selected wheat bran (water content: 13.5% by weight) is continuously supplied to a flash dryer (manufactured by Nippon Dryer Co., Ltd.) at a rate of 180 kg per hour and dried at 140 ° C. The water content was then adjusted to 7.5% by weight. This is supplied to an ALPINE fine pulverizer 250-SS (manufactured by Makino Kogyo Co., Ltd.), which is a kind of impact-type rotary disc type pulverizer, at a rate of 200 kg per hour, and 9600r

0 m 3 of air was supplied, and the classification rotor was rotated at 1200 rpm to classify and remove fine powder having a particle size of 30 μm or less (A class). Next, the remaining powder was added to the same machine TC-40N as above at 170 kg per hour.
While supplying at a rate of 22.0 m 3 of air per minute, the classifier rotor was rotated at 550 rpm, the bulk density was 0.33 g /
Coarse powder (class D) larger than cc was classified and removed. The remaining powder having a bulk density of 0.33 g / cc or less is supplied to a diuniasifter sieve (opening 106 μm) (manufactured by Tokyo Flour Mill Co., Ltd.) at a rate of 84 kg per hour, and is passed through the sieve (B category). And a section that does not pass through a sieve (C section). Table 2 below shows the results of measurement by the same method as in Table 1 together with the composition of the untreated selected bran using the proportion and composition of each category as raw materials.

In other words, for wheat bran, the energy conversion factor proposed by FAO is calculated using protein 1.82, lipid 8.37, and carbohydrate (fiber + carbohydrate) 2.35. For other feed ingredients, protein conversion factor is Atwater's energy conversion factor. Calculated using 4, lipid 9, and carbohydrate 4.

In Table 3, Examples 3, 5, and 7 correspond to Examples of the present invention, and Examples 2, 4, 6, and 8 correspond to Comparative Examples.
From the results in Table-3, Examples 3, 5 and 7 in which diets in which the BM mixture C category in which vitamins and minerals were mixed were provided to Category C, which is the dietary fiber product of the present invention, were Example 2 in which only feed MF was provided. It is clear that the rate of weight gain is significantly reduced as compared with that of the above, which is effective in preventing obesity. Moreover, when comparing each of Examples 3, 5 and 7 of the present invention to which the BM-mixed C category was provided, with each of Examples 4, 6, and 8 to which the BM-mixed untreated wheat bran was provided, the present invention showed a higher intake. It can be seen that despite the large amount of energy, the weight gain is remarkably small and also has a great effect on obesity prevention.

From the results in Table-4, it can be seen that BM mixture C obtained by mixing vitamins and minerals in the C category, which is a dietary fiber product of the present invention.
The weight loss of the genetically obese rat was larger in Example 10 in which the classification was provided than in Example 9 in which only feed MF was provided and in Example 11 in which BM mixed untreated wheat bran was provided, and the dietary fiber product of the present invention showed an obesity. It can be seen that there is a great effect on body weight loss.

Dietary fiber content obtained by crushing and classifying wheat bran
65% by weight or more of the dietary fiber product of the present invention can prevent obesity, reduce obesity, improve carbohydrate metabolism, as compared with untreated wheat bran conventionally used as dietary fiber.
Improve digestive tract physiological functions such as improving lipid metabolism and promoting bowel movements,
Gallstone prevention, colorectal cancer prevention, toxic substance toxicity reduction, etc.
In particular, it has a remarkable effect on prevention of obesity and weight reduction of obese bodies. Therefore, the dietary fiber product of the present invention can achieve the desired effect in a smaller amount than conventional wheat bran, is easy to ingest, and when used in addition to other foods, a small amount of addition is sufficient. Does not impair the original flavor and texture of the food. Furthermore, since the dietary fiber product of the present invention is derived from wheat bran, it is inexpensive and can be easily obtained.
