Description
図1は、本発明の第1実施形態による二次電池の構造を示した平面図で、図2は、本発明の第2実施形態による二次電池の構造を示した平面図である。そして、図3は、本発明の第3実施形態による二次電池の構造を示した側面図である。
図10は、本発明による電池モジュールの構造を示した平面図である。図10に示されたとおり、本発明による電池モジュール1は、複数の二次電池10を含んでよい。二次電池10の構造に対する内容は、前述の説明で代替する。

Claims (15)
- 電極組立体;
前記電極組立体を収容するシート型の外装材;及び
前記外装材に隣接するように備えられ、前記外装材の一領域の温度を感知する複数の温度感知部;を含み、
前記温度感知部のうち1つ以上は、
PTC(Positive Temperature Coefficient)素子;及び
NTC(Negative Temperature Coefficient)素子;を含む二次電池。 - 外部に突出された形状を有する電極リード;をさらに含み、
前記NTC素子は、
前記複数の温度感知部のうち前記電極リードに隣接した前記温度感知部に備えられる、請求項1に記載の二次電池。 - 前記電極リードは、正極リード及び負極リードを含み、
前記NTC素子は、
前記複数の温度感知部のうち前記負極リードに隣接した前記温度感知部に備えられる、請求項2に記載の二次電池。 - 前記複数の温度感知部は、前記外装材の主面(main plane)である上面又は下面に付着される、請求項1~3の何れか一項に記載の二次電池。
- 前記複数の温度感知部は、前記外装材の側面に付着される、請求項1~4の何れか一項に記載の二次電池。
- 前記外装材は、
前記電極組立体が収容される内部空間が形成される本体部;及び
前記本体部の前記内部空間を外部から密封するシーリング部;を含み、
前記複数の温度感知部は、前記シーリング部に付着され、
前記シーリング部は折り曲げられて前記外装材の側面に密着される、請求項1~5の何れか一項に記載の二次電池。 - 前記外装材の表面のうち一部に接着される接着部;をさらに含み、
前記複数の温度感知部は、前記接着部に付着される、請求項1~6の何れか一項に記載の二次電池。 - 前記外装材は、
前記外装材が収容される内部空間が形成される本体部;及び
前記本体部の前記内部空間を外部から密封するシーリング部;を含み、
前記接着部は、
前記シーリング部が折り曲げられて前記外装材の側面に密着されるように前記シーリング部及び前記本体部にともに接着される、請求項7に記載の二次電池。 - 前記接着部は、
前記外装材の主面(main plane)である上面又は下面の全体にのみ付着される、請求項7に記載の二次電池。 - 前記複数の温度感知部を互いに連結する回路は、前記複数の温度感知部をジグザグに連結する、請求項1~9の何れか一項に記載の二次電池。
- 請求項1~10の何れか一項に記載の二次電池;及び
前記二次電池の前記温度感知部が付着された領域で前記外装材の温度に関する情報の提供を受ける制御部;を含み、
前記温度感知部が付着された領域のうち一部領域の温度が一定値を超過する場合、前記制御部で、(i)前記二次電池の電流を遮断するか、(ii)外部に警告信号を送る電池モジュール。 - 前記制御部は、
前記PTC素子及び前記NTC素子がともに備えられた前記温度感知部からそれぞれ温度に関する情報の提供を受けて、
前記NTC素子から供給を受けた温度が第1基準温度を超過する場合、前記制御部は外部に警告信号を送る、請求項11に記載の電池モジュール。 - 前記NTC素子から供給を受けた温度が第2基準温度を超過して、前記PTC素子から供給を受けた温度が第3基準温度を超過する場合、前記制御部は前記二次電池の電流を遮断する、請求項12に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記第2基準温度は、前記第1基準温度より大きい、請求項13に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記第2基準温度は、前記第3基準温度と同一である、請求項13に記載の電池モジュール。
