Description
図1に示すように、本実施形態の二次電池モジュール(以下、単にモジュールという。)30は、電池容器に可撓性部材としてのラミネートフィルムが用いられたフィルム型リチウムイオン二次電池(以下、単電池という。)20を8個備えている。モジュール30では、8個の単電池20および後述するリード板等の全体がアルミニウム合金製の図示を省略したフレームに組み込まれている。
次に、本実施形態のモジュール30の作用等について説明する。

Claims (4)
- 可撓性部材を電池容器とした単一電池または積層状態で直列ないし直並列に接続され可撓性部材を電池容器とした複数個の単電池を有する二次電池モジュールにおいて、一部に脆弱部を有し前記単一電池または前記複数個の単電池のうち一側に配設された単電池に対峙するように配置された接続部材と、前記単一電池または前記一側に配設された単電池と前記接続部材との間に配置され前記接続部材に接触可能な押しゴマと、前記接続部材の前記押しゴマと反対側に配置され前記接続部材を支持する支持部材と、前記脆弱部が破断したときに該脆弱部の両方の破断端部同士の間に介在することで前記破断端部を離隔する離隔部材と、を備え、前記押しゴマと前記支持部材とが前記脆弱部に対して反対側に位置しており、前記離隔部材が前記支持部材または前記押しゴマの前記接続部材側で前記脆弱部に対応する位置に配置されているとともに、前記接続部材は、前記脆弱部を挟んで一方の端部が前記単一電池または前記一側に配設された単電池に接続されており、かつ、他方の端部が外部出力端子に接続されており、前記単一電池または前記複数個の単電池のいずれかが膨張したときに、前記押しゴマにより前記脆弱部が破断することを特徴とする二次電池モジュール。
- 前記離隔部材は、前記押しゴマまたは前記支持部材と一体に形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の二次電池モジュール。
- 前記単一電池または前記一側に配設された単電池に剛性を有する樹脂板が固着されていることを特徴とする請求項1または請求項2に記載の二次電池モジュール。
- 前記一側に配設された単電池の電池容量は、前記複数個の単電池のうち前記一側に配設された単電池以外の単電池の電池容量より小さいことを特徴とする請求項1乃至請求項3のいずれか1項に記載の二次電池モジュール。
