Abstract
Description
本開示における電池は、図1に示すように、外装体50の内部領域Iから外部領域Oまで伸長するように配置された温度検出体60を有する。さらに、温度検出体60は、内部領域Iに配置され、電極体(第1電極体10、第2電極体20)の温度を検出する検出部61と、検出部61に接続された信号線62と、を有する。検出部61としては、例えば、サーミスタおよび熱電対等の温度センサが挙げられる。
図8(a)は本開示における電極体を例示する概略平面図であり、図8(b)は図8(a)の側面図である。図8(a)、(b)に示す電極体Eは、正極層4と、負極層2と、正極層4および負極層2の間に配置されたセパレート層3と、正極層4の集電を行う正極集電体5と、負極層2の集電を行う負極集電体1と、を有する。正極集電体5は、平面視上、正極層4と重複しない位置に正極タブ5tを有する。同様に、負極集電体1は、平面視上、負極層2と重複しない位置に負極タブ1tを有する。正極集電体5および正極タブ5tは、電気的に接続されていれば、同部材であってもよく、異部材であってもよい。この点は、負極集電体1および負極タブ1tについても同様である。
本開示における電池は、電極体を収納する内部領域を有する外装体を有する。外装体は、可撓性を有していてもよく、有していなくてもよい。前者の一例としては、アルミラミネートフィルムが挙げられ、後者の一例としては、SUS製ケースが挙げられる。また、外装体がラミネートフィルムである場合、外装体の内部領域および外部領域の間に、ラミネートフィルムの内側樹脂層同士が融着したシール領域を有していてもよい。

- 電極体と、前記電極体を収納する内部領域を有する外装体と、を備える電池であって、
前記電池は、前記外装体の前記内部領域から外部領域まで伸長するように配置された温度検出体を有し、
前記温度検出体は、前記内部領域に配置され、前記電極体の温度を検出する検出部と、前記検出部に接続された信号線と、を有し、
前記電極体は、側面に絶縁性保護層を有し、
前記検出部は、前記絶縁性保護層の表面上に配置されている、電池。 - 前記検出部は、被覆層により被覆されている、請求項1に記載の電池。
- 前記温度検出体は、複数の前記検出部を有する、請求項1または請求項2に記載の電池。
- 前記電池は、複数の前記電極体として、第1電極体および第2電極体を少なくとも有し、
前記第1電極体は、電極タブPを有し、
前記第2電極体は、前記電極タブPとは反対の極性を有する電極タブRとを有し、
前記電極タブPおよび前記電極タブRは、前記内部領域において接続されている、請求項1から請求項3までのいずれかの請求項に記載の電池。 - 前記第1電極体および前記第2電極体は、絶縁部材を介して、厚さ方向に沿って積層され、
前記第1電極体および前記第2電極体は、それぞれ、
負極集電体と、
前記負極集電体の一方の面から順に配置された、第1負極層、第1セパレート層、第1正極層および第1正極集電体と、
前記負極集電体の他方の面から順に配置された、第2負極層、第2セパレート層、第2正極層および第2正極集電体と、
を有する、請求項4に記載の電池。
