Abstract
Description
‐タルクとカリウム雲母の混合物を含む固体滑剤であって、カリウム雲母は好適には金雲母、白雲母、又はこれらの混合物、特に好適には金雲母であって、固体滑剤におけるタルクのカリウム雲母に対する比が2.0~5.0である、55~85wt%の固体滑剤、
‐ポリ酢酸ビニル、ナトリウム水ガラス、及びデキストリン、又はそれらの混合物から選ばれ、好適にはエチレン酢酸ビニル共重合体(EVA)である、10~30wt%の接着剤、
‐ヒドロキシセルロース、ヒドロキシエチルセルロース、ヒドロキシプロプリセルロース、カルボキシメチルセルロース、メチルセルロース、エチルセルロース、メチルエチルセルロース、ヒドロキシエチルメチルセルロース、ヒドロキシプロピルメチルセルロース、エチルヒドロキシメチルセルロース、カルボキシメチルヒドロキシセルロース、デキストリン、デンプン、有機修飾ベントナイト、スメクタイト、及びキサンタンガムから選ばれ、好適にはキサンタンガムである、2~10wt%の増粘剤、
‐好適には消泡剤、分散剤、及びバイオサイドから選ばれる、0~10wt%の更なる助剤、を含み、且つ、
‐10wt%以下の黒鉛、好適には5wt%以下の黒鉛を含むか、特に好適には黒鉛を含まない、潤滑剤によって達成される。
連続法又はプッシュベンチ法の加工における継目無管の製造では、潤滑剤は、以降の圧延工程の準備のために水性懸濁液の形態で冷却されたマンドレルバーに噴霧されるが、この場合、マンドレルバーは、まだ約100℃程度の温度にある。この場合における潤滑剤の良好な潤滑性能に関する最も重要な点は、マンドレルバーが完全に連続的に濡れていることであり、特に、濡れたマンドレルバー上における潤滑剤の層の厚さである。本発明に係る潤滑剤は、マンドレルバーに対する良好な粘着性、及びマンドレルバーの表面の良好且つ均一な濡れにより特徴付けられる。同時に、それらの加工における潤滑剤の使用量又は良好な潤滑に必要な層厚さは、それらの加工において現在使用されている黒鉛含有潤滑剤と同等かそれ未満である。
本発明に係るタルクは、本発明に係る潤滑剤における固体滑剤の主成分の一つであり、粉末形態の鉱物タルク、層状ケイ酸塩(フィロケイ酸塩)、より正確にはケイ酸マグネシウム水和物である。タルクは、それぞれの修飾に応じて、三斜晶系のタルク‐1A又は単斜晶系のタルク‐2Mとして結晶化する。
本発明に係るカリウム雲母は、本発明に係る潤滑剤における固体滑剤の更なる主成分を形成するが、タルクよりも少ない量で含まれており、これも層状ケイ酸塩(フィロケイ酸塩)であるが、カリウムイオンを有する。
‐白雲母‐セラドン石系列(2八面体型)、具体的には、白雲母、K Al2[AlSi3O10(OH)2]、アルミノセラドン石、K Al(Mg,Fe2+)[Si4O10(OH)2]、鉄アルミノセラドン石、K Al(Mg,Fe2+)[Si4O10)(OH)2]、セラドン石、K Fe3+(Mg,Fe2+)[Si4O10(OH)2]鉄セラドン石、K Fe3+(Mg,Fe2+)[Si4O10(OH)2]
‐金雲母‐鉄雲母系列(3八面体型)、具体的には、鉄雲母、K Fe2+ 3[AlSi3O10(OH)2]、金雲母K Mg2+ 3[AlSi3O10(OH)2]、
‐シデロフィライト‐ポリリシオ雲母系列(3八面体型)、つまり、シデロフィライト、K Fe2+ 2Al[Al2Si2O10(OH)2]、ポリリシオ雲母、K Li2 Al[Si4O10F2]、
‐タイニオライトグループ、タイニオライト、K Li Mg2[Si4O10F2]、
‐及び上記のカリウム雲母の混合物。
粘度測定
粘度測定は、DIN 53019及び製造指示書に従い、同軸円筒(40mmスピンドル)を備える、Brookfield社(AMETEK有限会社、BU Brookfield、ロルヒ、ドイツ)の回転式レオメータR/S Plusによって、ソフトウェアRheo3000を使用して、20℃±0.4℃の試料温度で行われた。
摩擦値測定は、ドイツのニッダ‐ハルブのLohrentz有限会社Prueftechnikの摩擦計「HT-Tribometer Pruefstand 564」を使用して行った。摩擦計は、直径280mmのThermudur 2342 EFS鋼の、誘導的に加熱可能な回転円板と、油圧によって回転円板の方向に移動可能であり、抵抗加熱によって加熱可能なS355MC鋼の検体が載せられた、台とを備える。
噴霧条件(噴霧時間)で摩擦計の円板に塗布された潤滑剤の層厚さを、潤滑剤の噴霧前に磁気帯ホイルを円板の表面に貼り付け、潤滑剤を噴霧する手順によって検査した。潤滑剤の塗布により重くなった状態の磁気帯ホイルを取り外し、潤滑剤が塗布されていないホイルの重さについての差異から、層厚さを特定した。
比較潤滑剤として使用したのは、とりわけ継目無管の製造のための連続法において工業的に使用されるChemische Fabrik Budenheim社製の黒鉛系マンドレルバー潤滑剤PHOSPHATHERM(登録商標)120 GLW 30(以下、「PH120」)から作られた、30%懸濁液の形態のものである。
特に明記しない限り、潤滑剤製剤では、以下に記載の原料を使用した。全ての百分率が重量百分率であり、製造業者による詳細に対応する。
金雲母:化学組成:SiO2:41%、Al2O3:10%、MgO:26%、CaO:2%、K2O:10%、Fe2O3:8%;平均粒径(D50):44μm
白雲母1: 化学組成:SiO2:44%、Al2O3:31%、K2O:9%、Fe2O3:3%;平均粒径(D50):45μm
白雲母2: 化学組成 SiO2:51.5%、Al2O3:27.0%、K2O:10.0%、Fe2O3:2.9%、MgO:2.8%;平均粒径(D50):5μm
黒鉛: 天然黒鉛、炭素含有量:95%、平均粒径(D50):21μm
接着剤:酢酸ビニルエチレン共重合体(EVA)
増粘剤:キサンタンガム(E415)
Claims (11)
- 金属の熱間成形用の、特に継目無管の製造においてマンドレルバー及び/又は中空ブロックを潤滑するための潤滑剤において、前記潤滑剤が、固体成分に関して、少なくとも以下の成分:
‐タルクとカリウム雲母との混合物を備える55~85wt%の固体滑剤であって、前記固体滑剤におけるタルクのカリウム雲母に対する比が2.0~5.0である、固体滑剤と、
‐ポリ酢酸ビニル、ナトリウム水ガラス、及びデキストリン、又はそれらの混合物から選ばれる、10~30wt%の接着剤と、
‐ヒドロキシセルロース、ヒドロキシエチルセルロース、ヒドロキシプロプリセルロース、カルボキシメチルセルロース、メチルセルロース、エチルセルロース、メチルエチルセルロース、ヒドロキシエチルメチルセルロース、ヒドロキシプロピルメチルセルロース、エチルヒドロキシメチルセルロース、カルボキシメチルヒドロキシセルロース、デキストリン、デンプン、有機修飾ベントナイト、スメクタイト、及びキサンタンガムから選ばれる、2~10wt%の増粘剤と、
‐好適には消泡剤、分散剤、及びバイオサイドから選ばれる、0~10wt%の更なる助剤と、を含み、且つ、
‐10wt%以下の黒鉛、好適には5wt%以下の黒鉛を含むか、特に好適には黒鉛を含まないことを特徴とする潤滑剤。 - 前記固体滑剤におけるタルクのカリウム雲母に対する比が、2.5~4.5、好適には3.0~4.0、特に好適には3.3~3.8であることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の潤滑剤。
- 前記カリウム雲母が、金雲母、白雲母、及びこれらの混合物から選ばれることを特徴とする、請求項1または2に記載の潤滑剤。
- 前記カリウム雲母が、少なくとも60wt%の金雲母、好適には少なくとも80wt%の金雲母、特に好適には少なくとも90wt%、極めて特に好適には100wt%の金雲母を含むことを特徴とする、請求項1~3のいずれか1項に記載の潤滑剤。
- 前記潤滑剤が、10~45wt%の固体成分、好適には15~35wt%の固体成分、特に好適には20~30wt%の固体成分を含む水性懸濁液であることを特徴とする、請求項1~4のいずれか1項に記載の潤滑剤。
- 前記接着剤が、エチレン酢酸ビニル共重合体(EVA)であるか、エチレン酢酸ビニル共重合体(EVA)を含むことを特徴とする、請求項1~5のいずれか1項に記載の潤滑剤。
- 前記増粘剤が、キサンタンガムであるか、キサンタンガムを含むことを特徴とする、請求項1~6のいずれか1項に記載の潤滑剤。
- 残余としての前記潤滑剤が、好適には消泡剤、分散剤、及びバイオサイドから選択される更なる助剤を含むことを特徴とする、請求項1~7のいずれか1項に記載の潤滑剤。
- 前記潤滑剤が、0~5wt%のホウ素含有化合物、好適には0~2.5wt%のホウ素含有化合物、特に好適には0~1wt%のホウ素含有化合物を含み、極めて特に好適にはホウ素含有化合物を含まないことを特徴とする、請求項1~8のいずれか1項に記載の潤滑剤。
- 金属の熱間成形による継目無管の製造での、好適には連続法又はプッシュベンチ法における、マンドレルバー及び/又は中空ブロックの潤滑のための、請求項1~9のいずれか1項に記載の潤滑剤組成物の使用方法。
- 前記潤滑剤が、水性懸濁液の形態で、表面積に対して30~150g/m2の量、好適には噴霧表面積に対して50~120g/m2の量、特に好適には噴霧表面積に対して70~100g/m2の量、極めて特に好適には噴霧表面積に対して約80g/m2の量でマンドレルバー及び/又は中空ブロックに噴霧されることを特徴とする、請求項10に記載の使用方法。
