Abstract
Description

Claims (21)
- 導波管フィルムを形成する方法であって、前記方法は、
光硬化性材料を第1の金型部分と前記第1の金型部分の反対の第2の金型部分との間の空間の中に分注することと、
前記第1の金型部分の表面に対向する前記第2の金型部分の表面に対する前記第1の金型部分の表面の間の相対分離を調節することと、
前記光硬化性材料を光硬化させるために適切な放射で、前記空間内の前記光硬化性材料を照射し、硬化された導波管フィルムを形成することと、
前記光硬化性材料を照射することと同時に、
前記第1の金型部分の表面と前記第2の金型部分の表面との間の前記相対分離を変動させること、および
前記光硬化性材料を照射する前記放射の強度を変動させること
のうちの少なくとも1つを実施することと
を含む、方法。 - 前記相対分離は、前記第1の金型部分と前記第2の金型部分との間に延在する軸に沿って、前記第1の金型部分によって受けられる力を調整するように変動される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記相対分離は、前記力を調整する閉ループ制御システムに基づいて変動される、請求項2に記載の方法。
- 前記相対分離は、前記光硬化性材料内のゲル点に到達するために十分な時間にわたって前記光硬化性材料を照射した後に変動される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記相対分離は、前記光硬化性材料内のゲル点に到達するために十分な時間にわたって前記光硬化性材料を照射した後に低減される、請求項4に記載の方法。
- 前記相対分離を変動させることは、前記第2の金型部分に向かって前記第1の金型部分を移動させ、前記第1の金型部分と前記第2の金型部分との間に配置される1つ以上のスペーサ構造を圧縮することを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記スペーサ構造は、開ループ制御システムに従って圧縮される、請求項6に記載の方法。
- 前記相対分離を変動させることは、前記第2の金型部分に対して前記第1の金型部分の位置を発振させることを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記放射の強度を変動させることは、前記光硬化性材料を照射する空間強度パターンを変動させることを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記放射の強度を変動させることは、前記放射のパワーを変動させることを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記パワーを変動させることは、前記放射をパルス化することを含む、請求項10に記載の方法。
- 前記放射の各パルスは、同一のパワーを有する、請求項11に記載の方法。
- 前記放射のパルスは、異なるパワーを有する、請求項11に記載の方法。
- 前記放射の各パルスは、同一の持続時間を有する、請求項11に記載の方法。
- 前記放射のパルスは、異なる持続時間を有する、請求項11に記載の方法。
- パルス周波数は、一定である、請求項11に記載の方法。
- パルス周波数は、変動される、請求項11に記載の方法。
- 前記放射の強度を変動させることは、前記空間の異なる面積を連続的に照射することを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 光硬化性材料で充填される前記空間の厚さは、変動し、前記放射の強度は、高い相対厚さの領域が、低い相対厚さの領域と比較して、より高い放射量を受容するように、変動される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記第1の金型部分および前記第2の金型部分から前記硬化された導波管フィルムを分離することをさらに含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 請求項1に記載の方法を使用して形成される導波管フィルムを備える頭部搭載型ディスプレイを組み立てることを含む、方法。
