Abstract
Description
本発明に係る炭素繊維強化複合材料は、塩化ビニル系樹脂組成物(A)と、炭素繊維基材(B)とを備える。本発明に係る炭素繊維強化複合材料では、上記塩化ビニル系樹脂組成物(A)が、上記炭素繊維基材(B)に含浸されている。本発明に係る炭素繊維強化複合材料では、上記塩化ビニル系樹脂組成物(A)が、塩化ビニルモノマーとエチレン-酢酸ビニルポリマーとの共重合体、又は、塩化ビニルモノマーと2-エチルヘキシル(メタ)アクリレートモノマーとの共重合体を含む。本発明に係る炭素繊維強化複合材料は、炭素繊維強化プラスチック(CFRP:Carbon Fiber Reinfоrced Plastic)である。
上記炭素繊維強化複合材料では、上記塩化ビニル系樹脂組成物(A)が、塩化ビニルモノマーとエチレン-酢酸ビニルポリマーとの共重合体(A-1)(以下、成分(A-1)と記載することがある)、又は、塩化ビニルモノマーと2-エチルヘキシル(メタ)アクリレートモノマーとの共重合体(A-2)(以下、成分(A-2)と記載することがある)を含む。上記塩化ビニル系樹脂組成物(A)は、塩化ビニル系樹脂として、上記成分(A-1)、又は、上記成分(A-2)を含む。上記塩化ビニル系樹脂組成物(A)は、上記成分(A-1)を含んでいてもよく、上記成分(A-2)を含んでいてもよい。上記塩化ビニル系樹脂組成物(A)は、上記成分(A-1)と上記成分(A-2)との双方を含んでいてもよい。
上記塩化ビニル系樹脂組成物(A)は、添加剤を含んでいてもよい。上記添加剤としては、熱安定剤、熱安定化助剤、滑剤、加工助剤、衝撃改質剤、耐熱向上剤、酸化防止剤、紫外線吸収剤、帯電防止剤、光安定剤、充填剤、顔料、可塑剤及び難燃剤等が挙げられる。上記添加剤は、1種のみが用いられてもよく、2種以上が併用されてもよい。なお、ブリードアウトによる物性の低下をより一層抑制し、他部材への粘着をより一層抑制する観点から、上記塩化ビニル系樹脂組成物(A)は、可塑剤を含まないことが好ましい。
本発明に係る炭素繊維強化複合材料では、上記塩化ビニル系樹脂組成物(A)は、上記炭素繊維基材(B)に含浸されている。炭素繊維基材とは、例えば、複数の炭素繊維からなる炭素繊維束(フィラメント)が、経糸束及び緯糸束として組み込まれた炭素繊維物のことを表す。
本発明に係る炭素繊維強化複合材料は、成形体であってもよい。該成形体は、成形前の上記炭素繊維強化複合材料を成形して得ることができる。また、上記炭素繊維強化複合材料を得る際に、上記炭素繊維強化複合材料が、成形体とされてもよい。上記炭素繊維強化複合材料を得る際に、所定の形状の成形体が得られてもよい。
本発明に係る炭素繊維強化複合材料は、例えば、以下の方法により製造することができる。
塩化ビニル系樹脂(1)(徳山積水工業社製「TG40」、重合度:640、塩化ビニルモノマーとエチレン-酢酸ビニルポリマーとの共重合体、塩化ビニルモノマーに由来する構造単位の含有量:60重量%、エチレンー酢酸ビニルポリマーに由来する構造単位の含有量:40重量%)
塩化ビニル系樹脂(2)(徳山積水工業社製「TS640M」(重合度:640)と、2-エチルヘキシルアクリレートモノマーとの共重合体、塩化ビニルモノマーに由来する構造単位の含有量:70重量%、2-エチルヘキシルアクリレートモノマーに由来する構造単位の含有量:30重量%)
塩化ビニル系樹脂A(徳山積水工業社製「SLP40」、重合度:400)
フタル酸ジオクチル(ジェイ・プラス社製「DOP」)
メチル錫メルカプト(日東化成社製「AT5300」、23℃で液状)
(塩化ビニル系樹脂組成物(A)の作製)
塩化ビニル系樹脂(1)100重量部に、メチル錫メルカプト0.5重量部を添加し、配合物を得た。得られた配合物を、濃度が10重量%となるようにテトラヒドロフラン(THF)に完全に溶解させて溶液を得た。得られた溶液を、コーターを用いてガラス板に展開し、THFを乾燥により除去し、厚み80μm~100μmの樹脂フィルム(塩化ビニル系樹脂組成物(A))を得た。
1,5-ジヒドロキシナフタレン10重量部、40%メチルアミン水溶液4重量部、及びホルマリン(ホルムアルデヒドの含有量:37重量%)8重量部を含むモノマー成分と、溶媒としてエタノール水溶液(エタノールの含有量:50重量%)800重量部とを均一に混合して、モノマー溶液を作製した。上記モノマー溶液に、スペーサ粒子としてジビニルベンゼン架橋重合体の粒子(積水化学工業社製「ミクロパールSP」、平均粒子径:10μm)10重量部を添加し、開繊含浸液を作製した。
得られた炭素繊維基材(B)を、2枚の上記樹脂フィルムの間に配置して、上記樹脂フィルムで上下より挟み込み、200℃で0MPaから6MPaに段階的に加圧し、合計約10分間プレスした。このようにして、塩化ビニル系樹脂組成物(A)と、塩化ビニル系樹脂組成物(A)が含浸された炭素繊維基材(B)とを備える炭素繊維強化複合材料(成形体)を得た。
塩化ビニル系樹脂(1)の代わりに、塩化ビニル系樹脂(2)を用いたこと以外は、実施例1と同様にして、炭素繊維強化複合材料を作製した。
塩化ビニル系樹脂(1)の代わりに、塩化ビニル系樹脂Aを用い、フタル酸ジオクチルを下記の表1に示す含有量で添加したこと以外は、実施例1と同様にして、炭素繊維強化複合材料を作製した。
(1)粘着性(タック試験)
得られた炭素繊維強化複合材料を、縦50mm×横50mmの大きさに切りだし、2つの試験用サンプルAを作製した。
○:試験用サンプルAが、PPフィルムとともに持ち上がらない
×:試験用サンプルAが、PPフィルムとともに持ち上がる
得られた炭素繊維強化複合材料を、縦20mm×横20mmの大きさに切りだし、10枚~15枚重ね合わせて厚みが60mm程度の試験用サンプルBを作製した。デュロメータ(タイプA圧子、押付荷重10N)を用いて、ショア硬度を測定した。比較例1,2のショア硬度のうちの低い方をSTDとして、実施例の柔軟性を、以下の基準で判定した。
○:ショア硬度が、STD未満である
×:ショア硬度が、STD以上である
得られた炭素繊維強化複合材料を、縦50mm×横50mmの大きさに切りだし、試験用サンプルCを作製した。
○:重量変化率が、2重量%以下である
×:重量変化率が、2重量%を超える
Claims (3)
- 塩化ビニル系樹脂組成物と、炭素繊維基材とを備え、
前記塩化ビニル系樹脂組成物が、前記炭素繊維基材に含浸されており、
前記塩化ビニル系樹脂組成物が、塩化ビニルモノマーとエチレン-酢酸ビニルポリマーとの共重合体、又は、塩化ビニルモノマーと2-エチルヘキシル(メタ)アクリレートモノマーとの共重合体を含む、炭素繊維強化複合材料。 - 前記塩化ビニルモノマーとエチレン-酢酸ビニルポリマーとの共重合体100重量%中、前記塩化ビニルモノマーに由来する構造単位の含有量が、50重量%以上80重量%以下であり、前記エチレン-酢酸ビニルポリマーに由来する構造単位の含有量が、20重量%以上50重量%以下であり、
前記塩化ビニルモノマーと2-エチルヘキシル(メタ)アクリレートモノマーとの共重合体100重量%中、前記塩化ビニルモノマーに由来する構造単位の含有量が、50重量%以上80重量%以下であり、前記2-エチルヘキシル(メタ)アクリレートモノマーに由来する構造単位の含有量が、20重量%以上50重量%以下である、請求項1に記載の炭素繊維強化複合材料。 - 成形体である、請求項1又は2に記載の炭素繊維強化複合材料。
