Description
− WCを含む硬質成分を形成する粉末を用意する工程と、
− バインダー相を形成するAlおよびNi含有粉末を用意する工程と、
− 粉砕液体を用意する工程と、
− 粉末を粉砕、乾燥、加圧および焼結して超硬合金とする工程と
を含む。
超硬合金を、93.9wt%Niおよび5.3wt%Al(NiAl−1)または94.4wt%Niおよび5.6wt%Al(NiAl−2)からなるプレ合金化NiAl材料、Cr3C2原材料、ならびにWC0B用0.81〜0.87μm、WC2B用1.24〜1.44μmおよびWC5B用5.5〜6.3μmの平均粒径(FSSS)を備えるWCから、表1の組成に従って調製した。イータ相が形成される場合に少量のWを添加して表1による炭素含有量を調節するのを除いて、各原材料の量は、全乾燥粉末の重量に対するものであり、残りはWCである。
Claims (11)
- 析出物の平均粒径が10〜1000nmの間である、請求項1に記載の切削工具。
- 析出物の平均粒子が10〜500nmの間である、前述の請求項のいずれか一項に記載の切削工具。
- Al/Ni間の重量比が、好適には0.03〜0.07の間である、前述の請求項のいずれか一項に記載の切削工具。
- イータ相の体積分率が0.8〜8vol%の間である、前述の請求項のいずれか一項に記載の切削工具。
- NiおよびAlの全量が全バインダーの80〜95wt%の間である、前述の請求項のいずれか一項に記載の切削工具。
- 超硬合金が本質的にCoを含まない、前述の請求項のいずれか一項に記載の切削工具。
- 超硬合金が本質的にMoを含まない、前述の請求項のいずれか一項に記載の切削工具。
- 請求項1から7のいずれか一項に記載の切削工具を製造する方法であって:
− WCを含む硬質成分を形成する粉末を用意する工程と、
− バインダー相を形成するAlおよびNi含有粉末を用意する工程と、
− 粉砕液体を用意する工程と、
− 粉末を粉砕、乾燥、加圧および焼結して超硬合金とする工程と
を含む方法。 - AlおよびNi含有粉末が、プレ合金化粉末として添加される、請求項8に記載の切削工具を製造する方法。
- 切削工具に耐摩耗性CVDまたはPVDコーティングが施される、請求項8または9に記載の切削工具を製造する方法。
