Description
Claims (20)
- 細胞培養反応器であって、
ハウジングと、
細胞培養培地のための流体回路であって、前記流体回路が前記ハウジングの内部に配置されており、
前記細胞培養培地中で細胞を培養するための培養容器と、
前記培養容器に流体連結された前記細胞培養培地用の貯蔵部と、
前記流体回路中の前記細胞培養培地を送り出すように構成されたポンプと、を備える流体回路と、
前記ハウジングの前記内部に配置された一つ以上のセンサーであって、各センサーが、(1)前記流体回路中の前記細胞培養培地および(2)前記ハウジングの前記内部の環境のうちの一つ以上のパラメータを検出するように構成されている、一つ以上のセンサーと、を備える細胞培養反応器と、
前記検出されたパラメータのうちの一つ以上に基づいて、前記細胞培養反応器の動作を自動的に制御するように構成されたコンピューティング装置と、を備える、自動細胞培養システム。 - 前記コンピューティング装置が、前記検出されたパラメータおよびそれぞれの閾値のうちの一つ以上のそれぞれの間の比較に基づいて前記細胞培養反応器の動作を制御するように構成されている、請求項1に記載の自動細胞培養システム。
- 前記細胞培養容器用の回転マウントを含む、請求項1に記載の自動細胞培養システム。
- 供給ラインであって、前記供給ラインの第一の端部が前記流体回路に接続されていて、前記供給ラインの第二の端部が細胞培養培地の供給源に接続可能である、供給ラインと、
前記供給ラインに連結された供給ポンプと、
温度制御システムであって、
ハウジングであって、前記ハウジングの内部空間が細胞培養培地の供給源を収容するように構成されている、ハウジングと、
前記ハウジングの前記内部空間を冷却または加温するように構成された温度制御モジュールと、を備える、温度制御システムと、を含む供給システムを備える、請求項1に記載の自動細胞培養システム。 - 前記コンピューティング装置が、(i)前記貯蔵部中の細胞培養培地の量および(ii)前記流体回路中の前記細胞培養培地のpHのうちの一つ以上に基づいて、前記供給ポンプの動作を制御するように構成されている、請求項4に記載の自動細胞培養システム。
- 前記ハウジングの内部に配置されたヒーターを備える、請求項1に記載の自動細胞培養システム。
- 前記ハウジング中に弁を備え、前記コンピューティング装置が、前記ハウジングの前記内部のガスの濃度に基づいて前記弁の動作を制御するように構成されている、請求項1に記載の自動細胞培養システム。
- 前記ハウジングの前記内部に流体連結されたガス供給源と、
前記ガス供給源に連結されたガス流量制御装置と、を備え、
前記コンピューティング装置が、前記検出されたパラメータのうちの一つ以上に基づいて、前記ガス流量制御装置の動作を制御するように構成されている、請求項1に記載の自動細胞培養システム。 - 前記コンピューティング装置が、
(i)前記検出されたパラメータのうちの一つ以上および(ii)前記検出されたパラメータのうちの一つ以上の履歴のうちの一つ以上に基づいて前記培養容器中の前記細胞培養の相を決定するように、および
前記細胞培養の前記相に基づいて前記細胞培養反応器の動作を制御するように構成されている、請求項1に記載の自動細胞培養システム。 - 前記培養容器が中空繊維カートリッジを備える、請求項1に記載の自動細胞培養システム。
- 細胞を培養する方法であって、前記方法が、
細胞培養反応器中で細胞をインキュベートすることであって、
前記細胞培養培地中で前記細胞を培養するために、前記細胞培養培地の貯蔵部から培養容器に細胞培養培地を送り出すことを含め、前記細胞培養反応器の内部に配置された流体回路中に細胞培養培地を流すこと、を含む、細胞培養反応器中で細胞をインキュベートすることと、
前記細胞培養反応器の前記内部に配置された一つ以上のセンサーのそれぞれによって、(1)前記流体回路中の前記細胞培養培地および(2)前記細胞培養反応器の前記内部の環境のうちの一つ以上のパラメータを検出することと、
前記検出されたパラメータのうちの一つ以上に基づいて、自動的に、コンピューティング装置によって、前記細胞培養反応器の動作を制御することと、を含む、方法。 - 前記細胞培養反応器の動作を制御することが、前記検出されたパラメータのそれぞれを、それぞれの閾値と比較することと、前記比較に基づいて前記細胞培養反応器の動作を制御することと、を含む請求項11に記載の方法。
- 前記培養容器を回転させることを含む、請求項11に記載の方法。
- 前記細胞培養反応器の動作を制御することが、(i)前記貯蔵部中の細胞培養培地の量および(ii)前記流体回路中の前記細胞培養培地のpHのうちの一つ以上に基づいて、細胞培養培地を細胞培養培地の供給源から前記流体回路の中に送り出すために供給ポンプの動作を制御することを含む、請求項11に記載の方法。
- 細胞培養培地の供給源の温度を制御することを含む、請求項14に記載の方法。
- 前記細胞培養反応器の動作を制御することが、前記細胞培養反応器の温度に基づいてヒーターを制御することを含む、請求項11に記載の方法。
- 前記細胞培養反応器の動作を制御することが、ガス供給源に連結されたガス流量制御装置および前記細胞培養反応器のハウジング中の弁のうちの一つ以上の動作を制御することを含む、請求項11に記載の方法。
- 請求項11に記載の方法であって、
(i)前記検出されたパラメータのうちの少なくとも一つおよび(ii)前記検出されたパラメータのうちの少なくとも一つの履歴のうちの一つ以上に基づいて、前記培養容器中の前記細胞培養の相を決定することと、
前記細胞培養の前記相に基づいて前記細胞培養反応器の動作を制御することと、を含む方法。 - 前記検出されたパラメータのうちの一つ以上に基づいて、情報または警告の出力をもたらすことを含む、請求項11に記載の方法。
- ユーザーインターフェースを通してまたは遠隔コンピューティング装置から入力を受信することと、前記受信した入力にさらに基づいて前記細胞培養反応器の動作を制御することと、を含む、請求項11に記載の方法。
