Abstract
Description
本主題の目的は、強化熱硬化性ポリウレタン複合体を製造する、改善された引抜成形方法、及び、その引抜成形方法に沿った連続的繊維サイジング処理の同時最適化を提供することである。
a)複数の強化繊維を、ゲル浸透クロマトグラフィーに従って決定した重量平均分子量が≧800g/molから≦1,000,000g/molの範囲にある少なくとも1種のポリイミンから選択される少なくとも1種のサイジング剤を含有するサイジング組成物と接触させて、複数のサイジング処理強化繊維を得る工程と、
b)工程a)で得られた、複数のサイジング処理強化繊維に、(i)少なくとも1種のジ−又はポリイソシアネート及び(ii)少なくとも1種のポリオールを含有する前駆体混合物を被覆して、複数の被覆されたサイジング処理強化繊維を得る工程と、
c)工程b)で得られた、複数の被覆されたサイジング処理強化繊維を、少なくとも一つのダイ及び少なくとも一つの加熱ゾーンに通過させて、強化熱硬化性ポリウレタン複合体を得る工程
を含む。
(i)≧37質量%から≦60質量%の、少なくとも1種のジ−又はポリイソシアネート、
(ii)≧10質量%から≦30質量%の、少なくとも1種のポリオール、x′
(iii)≧0.1質量%から≦1質量%の、少なくとも1種の触媒、
(iv)(iv)≧1質量%から≦9質量%の、少なくとも1種の添加剤
を含有する。

d)≧1質量%から≦9質量%の、少なくとも1種の添加剤
を含有する。
a)≧40質量%から≦60質量%の、少なくとも1種のジ−又はポリイソシアネート、
b)≧10質量%から≦30質量%の、少なくとも1種のポリオール、
c)≧0.1質量%から≦1.0質量%の、少なくとも1種の触媒、及び
d)≧1質量%から≦9質量%の、少なくとも1種の添加剤
を含有する。
e)≧40質量%から≦60質量%の、少なくとも1種のジ−又はポリイソシアネート、
f)≧10質量%から≦30質量%の、少なくとも1種のポリオール、
g)≧0.1質量%から≦1.0質量%の、少なくとも1種の触媒、及び
h)≧1質量%から≦9質量%の、少なくとも1種の添加剤
を含有する。
プラーク試験とフィールド試験の2つのシリーズの実験を実施した。プラーク試験の結果は、フィールド試験のスクリーニング手段として使用した。このプラーク試験では、12x12インチのガラス繊維マットをカットし、ポリビニルピロリドン(Sokalan K30、BASF)とポリエチレンイミン(Lupasol PN40、BASF)を含有する1質量%溶液で処理した。サイジング剤のポリビニルピロリドンの重量平均分子量は45,000g/molであり、ポリエチレンイミンの重量平均分子量は800g/molから2,000,000g/molの範囲にある(ゲル浸透クロマトグラフィーに従って決定)。処理を施したガラス繊維マットをオーブンで(50℃)一晩、乾燥させ、次いでプラーク装置に運んだ。ポリウレタン配合物を乾燥後のマットに加え、次に加熱し、加圧した。形成したプラークについて試験を行い、表1に示すような引張りピーク及び伸び、及び灰分の測定を実施した。
ポリマー分子量測定
ゲル浸透クロマトグラフィー(GPC)によってポリマー分子量を決定するため、ポリマー試料の完全に溶解した分子を多孔性カラム固定相で分画した。テトラヒドロフラン(THF)を溶離剤溶媒として使用した。ポリマー試料の分子量分布、数平均分子量Mnと質量平均分子量Mw、及び多分散性Mw/Mnについて、クロマトグラフィーソフトウェアを使用して計算した。このソフトウェアは、Polymer Standards Serviceから入手できる、さまざまな分子量の一連の非分岐ポリスチレン標準物を含むEasyValid検証キットで作成された検量線を利用している。
引張強さは、標準試験方法ASTM3039に従って測定した。
非強化プラスチック及び強化プラスチックの曲げ特性については、標準試験方法ASTM D790に従って測定した。
Claims (28)
- 強化熱硬化性ポリウレタン複合体を製造するための引抜成形方法であって、下記の工程:
a)複数の強化繊維を、ゲル浸透クロマトグラフィーに従って決定した重量平均分子量が≧800g/molから≦1,000,000g/molの範囲にある少なくとも1種のポリイミンから選択される少なくとも1種のサイジング剤を含有するサイジング組成物と接触させて、複数のサイジング処理強化繊維を得る工程と、
b)工程a)で得られた、複数のサイジング処理強化繊維に、(i)少なくとも1種のジ−又はポリイソシアネート及び(ii)少なくとも1種のポリオールを含有する前駆体混合物を被覆して、複数の被覆されたサイジング処理強化繊維を得る工程と、
c)工程b)で得られた、複数の被覆されたサイジング処理強化繊維を、少なくとも一つのダイ及び少なくとも一つの加熱ゾーンに通過させて、強化熱硬化性ポリウレタン複合体を得る工程
を含むことを特徴とする引抜成形方法。 - 前記複数の強化繊維が、ガラス繊維、セラミック繊維、金属繊維、炭素繊維、天然繊維、ポリエステル繊維、ポリアラミド繊維、玄武岩繊維、及びナイロン繊維からなる群から選択される、請求項1に記載の引抜成形方法。
- 前記サイジング組成物が、さらに、界面活性剤、溶媒、フィルム形成剤、潤滑剤、及び湿潤剤を含有する、請求項1に記載の引抜成形方法。
- 工程a)、b)及びc)を中断することなく連続的に実施する、請求項1に記載の引抜成形方法。
- 前記サイジング組成物が、≧1質量%から≦99質量%の少なくとも1種のサイジング剤及び≧0.1質量%から≦5質量%の少なくとも1種の界面活性剤を含有する、請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載の引抜成形方法。
- 前記ポリイミンがポリアルキレンイミンである、請求項5に記載の引抜成形方法。
- ゲル浸透クロマトグラフィーに従って決定した重量平均分子量が≧800から≦900,000g/molの範囲にあるポリアルキレンイミンがポリエチレンイミン及び変性ポリエチレンイミンからなる群から選択される、請求項6に記載の引抜成形方法。
- 前記少なくとも1種の界面活性剤が、エチレンオキシドとプロピレンオキシドに基づくブロックコポリマー、ステアリン酸エタノールアミド、ポリエチレングリコールエステル、エトキシル化ひまし油エステル、脂肪族モノアミン、芳香族ジアミン、アミンエトキシレート及びカチオン性脂肪アミドからなる群から選択される、請求項5に記載の引抜成形方法。
- 前記エチレンオキシドとプロピレンオキシドに基づくブロックコポリマーが、エチレンジアミンポリオキシエチレンーポリオキシプロピレンブロックコポリマー及びエトキシル化アルコールからなる群から選択される、請求項8に記載の引抜成形方法。
- 前記複数の強化繊維を、複数のサイジング処理強化繊維の総質量に基づいて≧0.01質量%から≦50質量%のサイジング組成物と接触させる、請求項1に記載の引抜成形方法。
- さらに、工程a)で得た複数のサイジング処理強化繊維を、≧35℃から≦200℃の範囲の温度で加熱することにより、該複数のサイジング処理強化繊維を乾燥させる工程を含む、請求項1に記載の引抜成形方法。
- 前記前駆体混合物が、さらに、(iii)少なくとも1種の触媒、及び(iv)少なくとも1種の添加剤を含有する、請求項1に記載の引抜成形方法。
- 前記熱硬化性ポリウレタン複合体が、少なくとも1種のポリオールと少なくとも1種のジ−又はポリイソシアネートとの反応生成物である、請求項1に記載の引抜成形方法。
- 前記少なくとも1種のポリオールが、ポリエーテルポリオール及びポリエステルポリオールからなる群から選択される、請求項1に記載の引抜成形方法。
- 前記ポリエーテルポリオールが≧2から≦4の範囲の官能価を有する、請求項14に記載の引抜成形方法。
- 前記ポリエーテルポリオールが≧30mgKOH/gから≦900mgKOH/gの範囲のヒドロキシル価を有する、請求項14に記載の引抜成形方法。
- 前記ポリエーテルポリオールが、官能価が2でヒドロキシル価が≧30mgKOH/gから≦100mgKOH/gの範囲の第一ポリエーテルポリオールと官能価が3でヒドロキシル価が≧200mgKOH/gから≦450mgKOH/gの範囲の第二ポリエーテルポリオールとの混合物である、請求項14に記載の引抜成形方法。
- 前記ポリエステルポリオールが≧2から≦4の範囲の官能価を有する、請求項14に記載の引抜成形方法。
- 前記ポリエステルポリオールが≧30mgKOH/gから≦2000mgKOH/gの範囲のヒドロキシル価を有する、請求項14に記載の引抜成形方法。
- 前記前駆体混合物が、前駆体混合物の総質量に基づいて、
(a)≧37質量%から≦60質量%の少なくとも1種のジ−又はポリイソシアネート、
(b)≧10質量%から≦30質量%の少なくとも1種のポリオール、
(c)≧0.1質量%から≦1質量%の少なくとも1種の触媒、
(d)≧1質量%から≦9質量%の少なくとも1種の添加剤
を含有する、請求項12に記載の引抜成形方法。 - 前記少なくとも1種のジ−又はポリイソシアネート成分が、エチレンジイソシアネート、1,4−テトラメチレンジイソシアネート、1,6−ヘキサメチレンジイソシアネート、1,12−ドデカンジイソシアネート、シクロブタン−1,3−ジイソシアネート、シクロヘキサン−1,3−及び1,4−ジイソシアネート、1−イソシアナト−3,3,5−トリメチル−5−イソシアナトメチル−シクロヘキサン、2,4−及び2,6−ヘキサヒドロトルエンジイソシアネート、ジシクロヘキシルメタン−4,4’−ジイソシアネート、1,3−及び1,4−フェニレンジイソシアネート、2,4−及び2,6−トルエンジイソシアネート、ジフェニルメタン−2,4’−及び/又は4,4’−ジイソシアネート、ナフチレン−1,5−ジイソシアネート、トリフェニルメタン−4,4’,4’’−トリイソシアネート、ポリフェニル−ポリメチレン−ポリイソシアネート、ノルボルナンジイソシアネート、m−及びp−イソシアナトフェニルスルホニルイソシアネート、過塩素化アリールポリイソシアネート、カルボジイミド変性ポリイソシアネート、ウレタン変性ポリイソシアネート、アロファネート変性ポリイソシアネート、イソシアヌレート変性ポリイソシアネート、尿素変性ポリイソシアネート、ビウレット含有ポリイソシアネート及びイソシアネート末端プレポリマーからなる群から選択される、請求項1に記載の引抜成形方法。
- 前記少なくとも1種の添加剤が、内部離型剤、難燃剤、煙抑制剤、充填剤、染料、顔料、帯電防止剤、酸化防止剤、水捕捉剤、消泡剤及び紫外線安定剤からなる群から選択される、請求項12に記載の引抜成形方法。
- 前記少なくとも1種の触媒が、有機カルボン酸の第一スズ塩、カルボン酸のジアルキルスズ(IV)塩、ネオデカン酸フェニル水銀、ビスマスカルボキシレート、及び第三級アミンからなる群から選択される、請求項12に記載の引抜成形方法。
- 工程b)で、前記サイジング処理強化繊維を平面強化繊維と組み合わせて被覆する、請求項1に記載の引抜成形方法。
- 工程b)で、前記サイジング処理強化繊維を平面強化繊維と、≧35から≦80の質量比で、組み合わせて使用する、請求項24に記載の引抜成形方法。
- 工程b)で、前記サイジング処理強化繊維を前駆体混合物と複数のサイジング処理強化繊維の表面で反応させる、請求項1に記載の引抜成形方法。
- 前記少なくとも一つの加熱ゾーンが加熱ゾーン(Z1)、(Z2)及び(Z3)を含む、請求項1に記載の引抜成形方法。
- 前記加熱ゾーン(Z1)が≧135℃から≦180℃の範囲の温度を有し、前記加熱ゾーン(Z2)が≧150℃から≦180℃の範囲の温度を有し、前記加熱ゾーン(Z3)が≧180℃から≦210℃の範囲の温度を有する、請求項27に記載の引抜成形方法。
