Abstract
Description
−製錬工程−
本発明の実施の形態に係る電子・電気機器部品屑の処理方法は、有価金属を回収するための製錬工程において、電子・電気機器部品屑を処理する工程を有する。
本発明における「電子・電気機器部品屑」とは、廃家電製品・PCや携帯電話等の電子・電気機器を破砕した屑であり、回収された後、適当な大きさに破砕されたものを指す。本発明では、電子・電気機器部品屑とするための破砕は、処理者自身が行ってもよいが、市中で破砕されたものを購入等したものでもよい。
風力選別は、数ある物理選別の方法のうち、多くの物量を処理する用途に適した方法であり、物理選別手法の最初の段階に用いられることが好ましい。本実施形態に係る物理選別手法では、最初の段階で風力選別工程を少なくとも2段階実施することが好ましい。
第2の風力選別工程では、塊状のメタルや部品単体を重量物として分離し、軽量物側に基板、プラスチックなどの合成樹脂類を濃縮させる。軽量物側に濃縮された基板、合成樹脂類は、次工程であるメタルソータを用いた選別処理に送られる。
メタルソータは、処理対象物中の金属物を検知するメタルセンサーと、処理対象物の位置を検出するセンサとを備え、指定された物(金属物又は非金属物)をエアーバルブからの気流で撃ち落とすための装置である。本実施形態では、メタルソータにより、金属を実質的に含む基板(金属物)と、金属を実質的に含まない基板及び合成樹脂類(非金属物)とに分類することに用いられる。指定物として非金属物を撃ち落とした場合、メタルソータにより打ち落とされなかった選別物側には、銅、貴金属等の有価金属を含む基板が濃縮されるため、これを上述の製錬工程における処理対象物とすることにより、より少ない部品屑の投入量で有価金属の回収効率を上げることができる。
上記の選別処理に加えて、以下に示す選別処理を適宜組み合わせることも可能である。例えば、電子・電気機器部品屑の種類によっては、目視で確認しても容易に判別できるほど線屑が多く含有されている場合がある。その場合は、第1の風力選別工程よりも前に比較的大きな線屑等を手選別又はロボットなどにより機械選別するようにしてもよい。
なお、本発明の実施の形態において「除去」或いは「分離」とは、100%除去又は分離する態様を示すものだけでなく対象物中重量比30%以上、より好ましくは50質量%以上除去するような態様を含むものである。
Claims (6)
- 電子・電気機器部品屑中に含まれる製錬阻害物質を含む部品屑を選別して除去することにより、前記電子・電気機器部品屑中に含まれる製錬阻害物質を減少させる物理選別工程と、
前記物理選別工程後の前記電子・電気機器部品屑に対し、前記電子・電気機器部品屑を焼却する工程と、焼却物を破砕及び篩別する工程と、前記破砕及び篩別処理した処理物を銅製錬する工程とを含む製錬工程で処理する工程と
を備えることを特徴とする電子・電気機器部品屑の処理方法。 - 前記電子・電気機器部品屑中に含まれる製錬阻害物質を減少させる分、前記製錬工程での前記電子・電気機器部品屑の処理量を増加させることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の電子・電気機器部品屑の処理方法。
- 前記物理選別工程が、Sbを含有する部品屑を選別して除去することを含む請求項1又は2に記載の電子・電気機器部品屑の処理方法。
- 前記物理選別工程が、Al、Fe、Niからなる群の中から選択される1種以上を含有する部品屑を選別して除去することを含む請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の電子・電気機器部品屑の処理方法。
- 前記物理選別工程が、Cl、Br、Fからなる群の中から選択される1種以上を含有する部品屑を選別して除去することを含む請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の電子・電気機器部品屑の処理方法。
- 前記物理選別工程が、前記電子・電気機器部品屑中に含まれる粉状物、フィルム状部品屑、金属を実質的に含まない基板、合成樹脂類の少なくともいずれかを除去することを含む請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載の電子・電気機器部品屑の処理方法。
