Abstract
Description
1.ポリオール組成物を主剤、ポリイソシアネート成分を硬化剤とし、形成される被膜が、温度上昇によって炭化断熱層を形成する被覆材であって、
前記ポリオール組成物は、ポリオール成分、及び粉体成分を含有し、
前記ポリオール成分は、分子量が1000以上のポリエーテルポリオールを含み、
前記ポリオール組成物は、粘度10〜80Pa・s、加熱残分70〜98重量%であり、
前記ポリオール組成物と前記ポリイソシアネート成分の混合比率は、前記ポリオール成分と前記ポリイソシアネート成分のNCO/OH当量比0.6〜3.5であることを特徴とする被覆材。
2.前記粉体成分として、発泡剤(b1)、炭化剤(b2)、難燃剤(b3)及び充填剤(b4)から選ばれる1種以上を含むことを特徴とする1.に記載の被覆材。
3.前記ポリオール組成物は、前記ポリオール成分の固形分100重量部に対して、前記発泡剤(b1)を10〜200重量部、前記炭化剤(b2)を10〜200重量部、前記難燃剤(b3)を100〜1000重量部、及び前記充填剤(b4)を3〜200重量部含むことを特徴とする2.に記載の被覆材。
4.さらに、前記ポリオール組成物は、20℃において液体であり、沸点が150℃以上の高沸点化合物を含むことを特徴とする1.〜3.のいずれかに記載の被覆材。
5.前記ポリオール組成物は、前記ポリオール成分の固形分100重量部に対して、前記高沸点化合物を5〜150重量部含むことを特徴とする4.に記載の被覆材。
表1に示す配合に従い、(a1)成分、(B)成分、(C)成分、硬化触媒、及び添加剤を常法により混合しポリオール組成物(主剤)を調製した。
なお、原料としては以下のものを使用した。
(a1−1):ポリエーテルポリオール(グリセリンを開始剤としたエチレンオキサイド及びプロピレンオキサイドの重合体、数平均分子量10000、官能基数3、水酸基価17mgKOH/g、末端エチレンオキサイド付加)
(a1−2):ポリエーテルポリオール(グリセリンを開始剤としたエチレンオキサイド及びプロピレンオキサイドとの重合体、数平均分子量7000、官能基数3、水酸基価24mgKOH/g、末端エチレンオキサイド付加)
(a1−3)ポリエーテルポリオール(グリセリンを開始剤としたエチレンオキサイド及びプロピレンオキサイドの重合体、数平均分子量6000、官能基数3、水酸基価28mgKOH/g、末端エチレンオキサイド付加)
(a1−4):ポリエーテルポリオール(グリセリンを開始剤としたエチレンオキサイド及びプロピレンオキサイドの重合体、数平均分子量5100、官能基数3、水酸基価33mgKOH/g、末端エチレンオキサイド付加)
(a1−5):ポリエーテルポリオール(グリセリンを開始剤としたプロピレンオキサイドとの重合体、数平均分子量4000、官能基数3、水酸基価43mgKOH/g、末端プロピレンオキサイド付加)
(a1−6):ポリエーテルポリオール(グリセリンを開始剤としたプロピレンオキサイドとの重合体、数平均分子量700、官能基数3、水酸基価225mgKOH/g、末端プロピレンオキサイド付加)
なお、上記(a1−1)〜上記(a1−6)は、20℃において液体である。
・発泡剤(b1):メラミン
・炭化剤(b2):ペンタエリスリトール
・難燃剤(b3):ポリリン酸アンモニウム
・充填剤(b4):酸化チタン
・金属水和物(b5):水酸化アルミニウム(平均粒子径1μm)
・繊維(b6):ロックウール繊維(平均繊維長125μm、平均繊維径4.5μm)
・高沸点化合物(c1):フタル酸ジイソノニル(沸点420℃)
・高沸点化合物(c2):アジピン酸ジイソノニル(沸点227℃)
・高沸点化合物(c3):フタル酸ジ-2−エチルヘキシル(沸点386℃)
・高沸点化合物(c4):フタル酸ジイソデシル(沸点420℃)
・高沸点化合物(c5):フタル酸ジウンデシル(沸点523℃)
・高沸点化合物(c6):フタル酸ジブチル(沸点340℃)
・硬化触媒:有機金属系触媒
・添加剤1:分散剤、消泡剤等
・添加剤2:希釈溶剤(芳香族炭化水素)
(a2−1)ビウレット型ヘキサメチレンジイソシアネート(NCO含有量23.5%)
表1に示すポリオール組成物1〜17と、上記(a2)成分を、それぞれポリオール成分とポリイソシアネート成分のNCO/OH当量比が1.2となるように混合し、被覆材1〜17を得た。
各被覆材1〜17について、以下の評価を実施した。結果は、表2に示す。
<厚膜化評価1>
予めさび止め塗装した鋼板(縦150mm×横70mm×厚さ1.6mm)の全面に被覆材をフィルムアプリケーターにてwet膜厚2mmで塗付し、常温(25℃)で24時間、その後50℃で24時間養生させて、乾燥膜厚を測定し、膜厚の変化を確認した。評価基準は以下の通りである。
A:膜厚減少率が15%未満
B:膜厚減少率が15%以上30%未満
C:膜厚減少率が30%以上45%未満
D:膜厚減少率が45%以上
<密着性評価>
上記試験体[I]の被膜を金属性スパチュラによるピーリングで評価し、容易に剥がせないものを「A」とし、容易に剥がせるものを「D」とする4段階評価(優:A>B>C>D:劣)とした。
ISO 5660−1 コーンカロリーメーター法に基づき、電気ヒーター(CONEIII、株式会社東洋精機製)を用いて、試験体[I]表面に50kW/m 2の輻射熱を15分間放射したときの発泡倍率、及び鋼板裏面温度を測定した。各評価基準は以下の通りである。また、結果は表1に示す。
(発泡倍率)
AA:発泡倍率35倍超
A:発泡倍率25倍超35倍以下
B:発泡倍率20倍超25倍以下
C:発泡倍率15倍超20倍以下
D:発泡倍率15倍以下
(裏面温度)
AA:430℃未満
A:430℃以上470℃未満
B:470℃以上500℃未満
C:500℃以上550℃未満
D:550℃以上
(緻密性)
発泡倍率を測定した試験体を切断し、その断面における炭化断熱層の緻密性を目視にて確認した。評価基準は、緻密性が高いものを「A」、緻密性が低いものを「D」とする4段階評価(優:A>B>C>D:劣)とした。
表3に示すポリオール組成物18〜20と、上記(a2)成分を、それぞれポリオール成分とポリイソシアネート成分のNCO/OH当量比が1.2となるように混合し、被覆材18〜20を得た。
さらに、被覆材2、被覆材18〜20について、以下の評価を実施した。
<厚膜化評価2>
厚膜化評価1において、被覆材をwet膜厚3mmで塗付した以外は、同様の方法で評価を行った。結果は表4に示す。
<厚膜化評価3>
厚膜化評価2において、形成した被膜の状態を目視にて確認した。評価基準は、均一な被膜を形成したがものを「A」、被膜にひび割れが生じたものを「D」とする4段階評価(優:A>B>C>D:劣)とした。結果は表4に示す。
<密着性評価>
上記と同様の方法で試験体[I]を作製し、評価を行った。結果は表4に示す。

Claims (5)
- ポリオール組成物を主剤、ポリイソシアネート成分を硬化剤とし、形成される被膜が、温度上昇によって炭化断熱層を形成する被覆材であって、
前記ポリオール組成物は、ポリオール成分、及び粉体成分を含有し、
前記ポリオール成分は、分子量が1000以上のポリエーテルポリオールを含み、
前記ポリオール組成物は、粘度10〜80Pa・s、加熱残分70〜98重量%であり、
前記ポリオール組成物と前記ポリイソシアネート成分の混合比率は、前記ポリオール成分と前記ポリイソシアネート成分のNCO/OH当量比0.6〜3.5であることを特徴とする被覆材。 - 前記粉体成分として、発泡剤(b1)、炭化剤(b2)、難燃剤(b3)及び充填剤(b4)から選ばれる1種以上を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の被覆材。
- 前記ポリオール組成物は、前記ポリオール成分の固形分100重量部に対して、前記発泡剤(b1)を10〜200重量部、前記炭化剤(b2)を10〜200重量部、前記難燃剤(b3)を100〜1000重量部、及び前記充填剤(b4)を3〜200重量部含むことを特徴とする請求項2に記載の被覆材。
- さらに、前記ポリオール組成物は、20℃において液体であり、沸点が150℃以上の高沸点化合物を含むことを特徴とする請求項1〜請求項3のいずれかに記載の被覆材。
- 前記ポリオール組成物は、前記ポリオール成分の固形分100重量部に対して、前記高沸点化合物を5〜150重量部含むことを特徴とする請求項4に記載の被覆材。
