Claims (6)
- 廃リチウムイオン電池を導入する導入口、前記廃リチウムイオン電池を加熱処理する加熱領域、及び前記廃リチウムイオン電池を排出する排出口を有する熱処理炉と、
前記導入口を水封するための導入口側水槽と、
前記排出口を水封するための排出口側水槽と、
を備えることを特徴とする、廃リチウムイオン電池の処理装置。 - 前記導入側水槽には電解質を含む水溶液が貯留されており、前記排出口側水槽には水が貯留されていることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の廃リチウムイオン電池の処理装置。
- 前記加熱領域は、前記廃リチウムイオン電池の電解液を揮発させるための第1加熱領域と、前記廃リチウムイオン電池のバインダーを分解するための第2加熱領域と、を含むことを特徴とする、請求項1又は2に記載の廃リチウムイオン電池の処理装置。
- 前記熱処理炉は、トンネルキルン又はローラーハースキルンであることを特徴とする、請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の廃リチウムイオン電池の処理装置。
- 前記熱処理炉はトンネルキルンであって、前記導入口側水槽及び前記排出口側水槽は、前記トンネルキルン内を搬送させるコンベアの導入口側及び排出口側を重力方向に沿って湾曲させた凹部から構成することを特徴とする、請求項4に記載の廃リチウムイオン電池の処理装置。
- 熱処理炉の、廃リチウムイオン電池を導入する導入口を導入口側水槽で水封するステップと、
前記熱処理炉の、前記廃リチウムイオン電池を排出する排出口を排出口側水槽で水封するステップと、
前記廃リチウムイオン電池を、前記熱処理炉の加熱領域において還元雰囲気下で熱処理するステップと、
を含むことを特徴とする、廃リチウムイオン電池の処理方法。
