Abstract
Description
マンモグラフィーは、乳癌スクリーニングおよび診断のために使用され得る、胸部撮像の良好に確立された方法である。スクリーニングマンモグラムは、好ましくは、40歳を上回る人口の女性集団、または乳癌の遺伝的リスクを有する人のために、毎年得られる。スクリーニングマンモグラム中に腫瘤または石灰化(「着目領域」)が識別される場合、患者は、さらなる診断を要求し得る。そのような診断は、着目領域を生検するステップと、切除組織を分析するステップとを伴ってもよい。本明細書に使用されるように、「着目領域」という用語は、そのような腫瘤または石灰化を含有し得る、胸部内の腫瘤または石灰化、または特定の面積もしくは標的を意味することができる。
したがって、必要とされるものは、従来型の定位生検のものと類似する、提示される第1の画像内で、確実に、正確に、かつ一貫して、好ましくは、病変を標的とし、提示する画像ガイド生検アプローチである。

前記患者の胸部上で初期撮像手技を実施するステップであって、前記初期撮像手技は、第1の画像を得るための第1のエネルギーと、第2の画像を得るための第2のエネルギーとにおいて、X線源を用いて、前記胸部を撮像することを含む、ステップと、
前記第1の画像および前記第2の画像から、合成画像を生成するステップと、
前記合成画像を表示するステップと、
前記合成画像上の着目領域を標的にするステップと、
標的場所上で生検を実施するステップと、
を含む、方法。
(項目2)
前記標的場所を画定するために、前記合成画像からの情報を使用する、項目1に記載の方法。
(項目3)
前記標的場所上で前記生検を実施するステップの後に、第3の画像を得るための第3のエネルギーにおいて、前記X線源を用いて、前記胸部を撮像するステップをさらに含む、前記項目のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
(項目4)
前記着目領域を標的にするステップは、
前記第1の画像内で見える前記着目領域を識別することと、
前記着目領域を、前記第2の画像内で見える参照物体と相関させることと、
を含む、前記項目のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
(項目5)
インジケータを、前記合成画像上の前記着目領域に近接して配置するステップをさらに含む、前記項目のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
(項目6)
前記着目領域の座標を記憶するステップをさらに含む、前記項目のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
(項目7)
少なくとも部分的に、前記記憶された座標に基づいて、生検針を位置付けるステップをさらに含む、項目6に記載の方法。

前記第1のエネルギーにおいて撮像することに先立って、前記患者に、造影剤を、前記造影剤が前記第1の画像内で見えるように、注入することをさらに含む、前記項目のいずれか1項に記載の方法。

前記第1のエネルギーは、前記第2のエネルギーを上回る、前記項目のいずれか1項に記載の方法。

前記合成画像は、2D画像、3D画像、および合成2D画像のうちの少なくとも1つである、前記項目のいずれか1項に記載の方法。

前記第1の画像と前記第2の画像との間の、少なくとも1つの差異を識別するステップであって、前記差異は、着目領域に対応する、ステップと、
前記着目領域上で生検を実施するステップと、

前記第3の画像を表示するステップをさらに含む、項目18に記載の方法。

患者の胸部上で手技を実施する方法であって、
撮像システムのパドルを用いて、前記患者の胸部を圧迫するステップと、
複数の画像を得るように、複数のX線エネルギーを、X線源から前記胸部に送達するステップと、
前記複数の画像間の少なくとも1つの差異を識別するステップであって、前記差異は、着目領域に対応する、ステップと、
前記胸部の少なくとも1つの画像を表示するステップと、
前記表示された画像上の前記着目領域を識別するステップと、
前記着目領域上で生検を実施するステップと、
を含む、方法。
