Description
本発明(図2A〜D)は、図13A〜D(典型的な星形、背面メタルのPCボードに実装のLED)のシステムよりも19%高いルーメンを作り出した。
本発明(図2A〜D)は、図12A〜D(LEDから熱を逃がそうとする余分の銅箔およびビアを有する従来の多層PCボード)のシステムよりも93%高いルーメンを作り出した。
Claims (10)
- 熱伝導性および導電性の外装ケースと、
上面を有する熱伝導性および導電性のヒートシンクであって、前記ヒートシンクは前記外装ケース内に保持され、それと熱的および電気的に接触している、ヒートシンクと、
前記ヒートシンク内に保持された電気的絶縁材と、
第1および第2の導電部材を有する発光ダイオード(「LED」)と、を備え、
前記LEDは、前記第1の導電部材がプリント回路基板を使用することなく前記ヒートシンクに熱的および電気的に直接接続された状態で、前記上面に実装され、前記第2の導電部材は前記電気的絶縁材によって前記ヒートシンクから電気的に絶縁されており、
前記LEDは、電気回路からの電力が前記ヒートシンクおよび前記第2の導電部材に印加されるとオンにされる、照明装置。 - 前記外装ケースは、前記ヒートシンクと一体的に形成されている、請求項1に記載の照明装置。
- 前記ヒートシンクは、締まり嵌めによって前記外装ケース内に保持されている、請求項1に記載の照明装置。
- 前記第2の導電部材に電気的に接続された、前記電気的絶縁材内に保持された端子をさらに備える、請求項1に記載の照明装置。
- 外装ケースは懐中電灯筒である、請求項4に記載の照明装置。
- 懐中電灯筒はアルミニウム製である、請求項5に記載の照明装置。
- 前記照明装置は、
前記第1の導電部材を前記ヒートシンクの前記上面に、前記第2の導電部材を前記端子に両方とも半田付けすることによってヒートシンクアセンブリを形成する工程と、
前記ヒートシンクアセンブリを前記懐中電灯筒に挿入する工程と、
によって製造される、請求項6に記載の照明装置。 - 前記ヒートシンクアセンブリは前記懐中電灯筒に圧入される、請求項7に記載の照明装置。
- 前記ヒートシンクアセンブリは、機械的手段によって前記懐中電灯筒内に着脱可能に固定される、請求項7に記載の照明装置。
- 前記機械的手段は、前記懐中電灯筒にねじ込まれたナットである、請求項9に記載の照明装置。
