Abstract
Description
図1〜図4は本実施形態に係る雄側のコネクタを構成するプラグ10を示し、図6〜図9はプラグ10が嵌合する雌側すなわち相手側コネクタを構成するレセプタクル50を示している。プラグ10およびレセプタクル50は、互いに凹凸嵌合してそれぞれが有する対応する端子どうしを接触させて電気的に接続させるように構成されている。
プラグ10は、矩形板状に成形された絶縁性のハウジング11に、中心端子21、22、端子23、24、25、26、接地導体27が、略平面的に、かつ所定間隔に離間して配設固定された構成を有する。
次に、レセプタクル50の構成を説明する。
上述のプラグ10とレセプタクル50とは、図10〜図12に示すように互いに嵌合される。この嵌合状態では、図12に示すように、プラグ10の中心端子22のリード部22aがレセプタクル50の中心端子62の嵌合孔62cに嵌合し、リード部22aが中心端子62の挟持面62a、62bで挟持されて接触し導通する。このような中心端子22と中心端子62との嵌合の構成は、他方の中心端子21と中心端子61との間にも同様に構成される。
次に、上述したプラグ10の製造方法について説明する。

Claims (4)
- 信号端子と、前記信号端子を囲むようにして該信号端子の周囲全周にわたり配設されたシェル部を有する接地導体と、前記信号端子と前記接地導体とを絶縁させた状態で互いに一体的に固定する絶縁性のハウジングと、を備え、相手コネクタとの嵌合により前記信号端子が相手信号端子に電気的に接続されるコネクタの製造方法であって、
前記信号端子を構成する信号端子部と、前記接地導体を構成する接地導体部と、前記信号端子部と前記接地導体部とを連結して両者を一体とする連結部と、前記シェル部と、を有する導体素材を、導電材料により一体成形し、
次いで、前記導体素材と前記ハウジングとを一体的に固定し、
次いで、前記連結部の少なくとも一部を切断手段により切断して、前記信号端子部を前記信号端子として構成し、前記接地導体部を前記接地導体として構成することを特徴とするコネクタの製造方法。 - 前記ハウジングには、前記連結部を露出させて該連結部に前記切断手段を到達可能とする貫通孔が、該ハウジングの一面側から他面側にわたり予め形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のコネクタの製造方法。
- 前記連結部は、前記切断手段による押圧切断作用で切断され、
前記連結部は、前記押圧の方向側の面に、前記信号端子部および前記接地導体部の肉厚よりも厚さを薄くする凹所を有し、該凹所の内側部分を切断することを特徴とする請求項2に記載のコネクタの製造方法。 - 相手コネクタとの嵌合により相手信号端子と電気的に接続される信号端子と、
前記信号端子を囲むようにして該信号端子の周囲全周にわたり配設されるシェル部を有する接地導体と、
前記信号端子と前記接地導体とを絶縁させた状態で互いに一体的に固定する絶縁性のハウジングと、を備え、
前記ハウジングは、一面側から他面側にわたる貫通孔を有し、
前記信号端子は、前記貫通孔に突出する信号端子突出部を有し、
前記接地導体は、前記貫通孔に突出して前記信号端子突出部に近接する接地導体突出部を有することを特徴とするコネクタ。
