Abstract
Description
本国際出願は、2017年10月16日に出願された米国仮特許出願第62/573,094号(その開示は、参照することによって本明細書に組み込まれる)の優先権および利益を主張する。
本発明は、米国海軍によって授与された補助金N0014−16−1−2550の下で政府支援を受けて行われた。政府は、本発明にある権利を有する。
皮膚は、成人で約1.5m2表面積を伴う体内の最大の器官と考えられ、それは、薬物のための望ましい投与経路であり得る。しかしながら、有毒化学物質から人体を保護する皮膚の最外層である角質層は、高分子量および親水性分子がこの膜を通過することを困難にする。経皮的薬物送達を向上させるための異なるアプローチの中でも、非侵襲性方法としての微細針の使用は、薬物に対する皮膚の透過性を増加させるための有望なアプローチである。
本開示は、好適な薬物投与量を対象に送達することが可能である効率的なクリーンルーム不要の微細針アレイを作成するためのシステムおよび方法を提供することによって、前述の欠点を克服する。本明細書に提供されるシステムおよび方法は、従来的なシステムおよび方法と比較して、費用および時間効率的方法で達成されることができる。
本明細書に開示されるように、微細針を製造するためのシステムおよび方法が、提供される。一側面では、微細針の製作のための簡易で効率的な低費用のクリーンルームを含まない技法が、提供される。微細針は、レーザアブレーションを使用して形成されるモールドを使用して、作成され得る。高アスペクト比を伴う微細針モールドが、例えば、交差線(COL)のパターンを彫刻することによって、アクリル板上に形成されることができる。COLは、CO2レーザカッタを使用して、彫刻され得る。アクリル板上にCOLパターンをアブレートすることは、例えば、設計の中心に位置し得る鋭い円錐形を作成することができる。
1つの非限定的研究では、上で説明されるCOL微細針モールド形成技法が、以下の例示的手順で使用された。第1に、2D図面が、3D構造を製作するために使用された。ここで、微細針モールドが、60Wの最大電力を用いたCO2カッタ、Boss LS−1416を使用して、一般的に使用されている透明成型アクリル板上に彫刻された。透明成型アクリル板のFTIR透過スペクトルは、シートの切断に関与するCO2レーザの約10.6μm波長である合理的吸収を有することが示された。最初に、レーザビームは、アクリル板の表面上に自動集束させられた。
Claims (20)
- 微細針を生産する方法であって、前記方法は、
交差線パターンでレーザアブレーションを使用して、少なくとも1つの形成モールドを作成することと、
前記少なくとも1つの形成モールド上に第1の材料を成型し、少なくとも1つの微細針モールドを作成することと、
前記少なくとも1つの微細針モールド上に第2の材料を成型し、少なくとも1つの中空微細針を作成することと
を含む、方法。 - 前記交差線パターンは、前記少なくとも1つの形成モールドが円錐形を有することを可能にし、それによって、前記少なくとも1つの微細針モールドおよび前記少なくとも1つの中空微細針が円錐形を有することを可能にする、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記少なくとも1つの微細針モールド上に前記第2の材料を成型することに先立って、前記少なくとも1つの微細針モールドをプラズマ処理することをさらに含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記少なくとも1つの中空微細針および前記少なくとも1つの微細針モールドを加熱し、前記少なくとも1つの中空微細針を乾燥させることと、
