- エアロゾル送達装置を形成する方法であって、該方法が、
エアロゾル前駆体組成物を提供することと、
エアロゾル前駆体組成物と流体連通する噴霧器を配置することと、
出口を有する本体であって、液体を出口から遠ざけるように導くように寸法決めされ且つ配置された複数の毛細管チャネルを含む微細パターンを含む本体を形成することと、
噴霧器を本体と組み立てることと、を備え、
本体が、エアロゾル前駆体の液滴が出口から流出する能力を最小限に抑えるように構成される方法。 - 本体を形成することが、エッチングされた金型を用いて本体を成形することを備える、請求項11に記載の方法。
- エアロゾル送達装置の使用中にエアロゾル前駆体組成物の浪費を最小限に抑える方法であって、該方法が、
エアロゾル前駆体と流体接続している噴霧器を通過してマウスピースの出口を通して、エアロゾル送達装置から出た空気を吸引することと、
液体をエアロゾル送達装置の出口から遠ざけるように導くために寸法決めされ且つ配置された複数の毛細管チャネルを備える微細パターン表面を使用して、エアロゾル前駆体組成物の液滴がマウスピースの出口から流出するのを防ぐことと、を備える方法。 - 液滴が流出するのを防ぐことが、微細パターン表面上に液滴を捕捉することを備える、請求項13に記載の方法。
