Abstract

An electronic cigarette and a mouthpiece cover. The electronic cigarette includes an e-liquid cup and an atomizer all disposed in an inhalation rod sleeve. The e-liquid cup includes a liquid-storage member, an e-liquid guiding tube, and an air-guiding tube in the liquid-guiding tube, and a mouthpiece cover. The mouthpiece cover is a solid body with at least one ventilation groove on a peripheral sidewall. Two ends of the ventilation groove are open, and respectively locate at two end surfaces. The ventilation groove is communicated with the air-guiding tube. The electronic cigarette provides an entirely new way of ventilation for the mouthpiece cover. The atomized e-liquid enters into human mouth through the ventilation groove at the periphery of the mouthpiece cover, may avoid the atomized e-liquid straight entering into the human mouth.

Description

    FIELD OF THE INVENTION
  • The present invention relates to electronic cigarettes, especially to an electronic cigarette with new air intake way and a mouthpiece cover thereof.
  • BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
  • Along with people's concern on health rising, people are aware of tobacco harmful to the body, therefore generates electronic cigarettes to replace tobacco cigarettes. Electronic cigarette is usually making e-liquid to be atomized for users smoking. Because of nicotine, tar and other harmful substances being removed during manufacturing process of e-liquid which greatly reduces harmful to users' health. Also since there is no nicotine, tar and other harmful substances in the e-liquid, after smoking electronic cigarette, people's dependent addiction on smoking will gradually become smaller, so electronic cigarette also has effects of aiding to quit smoking.
  • Referring to FIG. 1 and FIG. 2, traditional electronic cigarette usually includes an e-liquid cup, an atomizer, an atomization control circuit board 111 and a battery 109. All the aforementioned components are disposed in an inhalation rod sleeve 110.
  • The atomizer is used to atomize e-liquid in the e-liquid cup to aerosol. The atomizer includes a heating wire 106 and a liquid-guiding wick 107 operable to absorb e-liquid and support the heating wire. The heating wire 106 winds on the liquid-guiding wick 107. Two ends of the heating wire 106 respectively connect with two electrodes of the battery 109 by electrical wires.
  • The e-liquid cup includes a liquid-storage member 102 for storing e-liquid, a liquid-guiding tube 103 for guiding e-liquid out from the liquid-storage member, an air-guiding tube 104, a mouthpiece cover 101 and an atomization seat 108. The atomization seat 108 and the mouthpiece cover 101 are oppositely disposed and spaced by a certain distance. The air-guiding tube 104 is fixed between the atomization seat 108 and the mouthpiece cover 101. The liquid-guiding tube 103 is sheathed at an outer of the air-guiding tube 104, meanwhile the liquid-guiding tube 103 is disposed at an internal of the liquid-storage member 102. The air-guiding tube 104 defines a latching slot 105 through a tube wall thereof, being used to support and fix the liquid-guiding wick 107. The liquid-guiding wick 107 crosses across the internal of the air-guiding tube 104 with the two ends respectively passes through the latching slot 105 to abut with the liquid-guiding tube 103 to absorb e-liquid for the heating wire to atomize. The air-guiding tube is used to support the liquid-storage member, and is simultaneously used to control a height of the e-liquid cup and support the liquid-guiding wick 107, and further is used as a channel for leading the aerosol produced by the e-liquid being atomized by the atomizer to the outer of the inhalation rod sleeve 110.
  • Combined referring to FIG. 3 to FIG. 5, the electronic cigarette of the structure is mainly defined with a round hole 112 at a center of the mouthpiece cover 101 for ventilation, and the air-guiding tube 104 of the atomizer portion also locates at the center, which results in aerosol straight entering into user's mouth after atomizing by the heating wire 106. When atomization temperature is high, which makes great stimulation on the mouth; moreover, atomized aerosol may be condensed into droplets again, and can easily enter into user's mouth from the round hole 112 at the center of the mouthpiece cover 101, then makes the user feel uncomfortable, and also may cause adverse effects for health.
  • Therefore, it is indeed necessary to provide an electronic cigarette which can avoid direct harmful to users caused by the high temperature of e-liquid after atomization.
  • SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
  • The objective of the present invention is to provide a mouthpiece cover for an electronic cigarette capable of effectively reducing the temperature of e-liquid after atomization.
  • The objective of the present invention is to provide an electronic cigarette capable of reducing harmful to users caused by the high temperature of e-liquid after atomization.
  • In order to achieve the objective, the present invention provides the following technical solutions:
  • the present invention provides a mouthpiece cover used for electronic cigarette. Between a center of an inner side of the mouthpiece cover and a periphery of the mouthpiece cover defines air vent, or at the periphery of the mouthpiece cover defines ventilation groove. The air vent, the ventilation groove are communicated with front and back end surfaces of the mouthpiece cover. The electronic cigarette of the present invention provides an entirely new way of ventilation for mouthpiece cover. The atomized e-liquid spews out from the air vent or the ventilation groove at the periphery of the mouthpiece cover, making the route taken by the aerosol before being spewed out lengthened, reducing the aerosol temperature, and may avoid the atomized e-liquid straight entering into the human mouth, then may reduce harmful to the mouth caused by high temperature; furthermore, when the atomized e-liquid is condensed to droplets, the mouthpiece cover of the electronic cigarette of the present invention also may avoid users inhaling the droplets into mouth and making feel uncomfortable when hard inhaled by the users.
  • The air vent or the ventilation groove at the periphery of the mouthpiece cover may be designed as regular or irregular shapes according to product appearance needs. The size of the air vent or the ventilation groove at the periphery of the mouthpiece cover may be designed as different values according to the needs of users. In some embodiments, the cross section of the air vent or the ventilation groove of the mouthpiece cover may be triangular, or semicircular, or rectangular, or trapezoid, or circular, or oval, or arc segment.
  • The air vent or the ventilation groove of the mouthpiece cover also may be made some changes in the design according to different needs. In some embodiments, the air vent or the ventilation groove of the mouthpiece cover includes multiple inlet branches which are merged into at least one outlet; in some other embodiments, the air vent or the ventilation groove of the mouthpiece cover includes at least one inlet which is divided into multiple outlet branches. And in some further embodiments, the air vent or the ventilation groove of the mouthpiece cover is set as spiral configuration. These different structures may lengthen the route taken by the aerosol before being spewed out from the mouthpiece cover, further reduces the aerosol temperature. Also, the spewing concentration of the aerosol may be designed according to needs.
  • The present invention further provides an electronic cigarette, including an e-liquid cup, and an atomizer which are disposed in an inhalation rod sleeve. The e-liquid cup includes a liquid-storage member for storing e-liquid, an e-liquid guiding tube for guiding e-liquid out from the liquid-storage member, and an air-guiding tube being disposed in the liquid-guiding tube; and including the aforementioned mouthpiece cover of the present invention used for the electronic cigarette. Between the center of the inner side of the mouthpiece cover and the periphery of the mouthpiece cover defines air vent, or at the periphery of the mouthpiece cover defines ventilation groove. The air vent, the ventilation groove and the two front and back end surface of the mouthpiece cover are communicated, and the air vent or the ventilation groove of the mouthpiece cover is communicated with the air-guiding tube.
  • The electronic cigarette of the present invention provides an entirely new way of ventilation for mouthpiece cover. The atomized e-liquid enters into human mouth from the air vent or the ventilation groove at the periphery of the mouthpiece cover, may avoid the atomized e-liquid straight entering into the human mouth, and then reduce harmful to the mouth caused by high temperature; furthermore, when the atomized e-liquid is condensed to droplets, the structure of the electronic cigarette of the present invention also may avoid users inhaling the droplets into mouth and making feel uncomfortable when hard inhaled by the users.
  • As above-mentioned, the air vent or the ventilation groove of the mouthpiece cover may have multiple embodiment, the cross section of the air vent or the ventilation groove of the mouthpiece cover may be triangular, or semicircular, or rectangular, or trapezoid, or circular, or oval, or arc segment. In some embodiment, the air vent or the ventilation groove of the mouthpiece cover includes multiple inlet branches which are merged into at least one outlet, the multiple inlet branches are communicated with the air-guiding tube. In some other embodiments, the air vent or the ventilation groove of the mouthpiece cover includes at least one inlet which is divided into multiple outlet branches, and the at least one inlet is communicated with the air-guiding tube. And in some further embodiments, the air vent or the ventilation groove of the mouthpiece cover is set as spiral configuration. The aerosol out from the air-guiding tube is spiral outputted through the air vent or the ventilation groove, which greatly reduces the aerosol temperature. These different structures may lengthen the route taken by the aerosol before being spewed out from the mouthpiece cover, further reduces the aerosol temperature. Also, the spewing concentration of the aerosol may be designed according to needs.
  • Preferably, between the air-guiding tube and the mouthpiece cover disposes a sealing ring. At a center of the sealing ring defines a through hole which is communicated with the air-guiding tube. The air vent or the ventilation groove of the mouthpiece cover communicates with the through hole of the sealing ring. The disposed sealing ring makes air tightness of the electronic cigarette better, and ensures a sole air outlet channel for the atomized e-liquid flowing from the air-guiding tube to the mouthpiece cover, and enables other components not to be affected by the aerosol.
  • Preferably, between the mouthpiece cover and the sealing ring disposes a lateral ventilation groove. The air vent or the ventilation groove and the through hole of the sealing ring are communicated by the lateral ventilation groove. The lateral ventilation groove may be disposed as one or more corresponding to the ventilation groove.
  • Preferably, between the mouthpiece cover and the sealing ring defines a gap; the air vent or the ventilation groove of the mouthpiece cover and the through hole of the sealing ring are communicated by the gap. The structure is more simple, and the manufacturing cost is low.
  • Preferably, the mouthpiece cover is detachably inserted at one end of the inhalation rod sleeve, or is integrally formed with the inhalation rod sleeve.
  • Compared to conventional technology, the present invention has following advantages: the electronic cigarette and the mouthpiece cover of the present invention provide an entirely new way of ventilation for mouthpiece cover. The atomized e-liquid enters into human mouth through air vent or ventilation groove at the periphery of the mouthpiece cover, can avoid the atomized e-liquid straight entering into the human mouth, and then may reduce harmful to the mouth caused by high temperature; furthermore, when the atomized e-liquid is condensed to droplets, the electronic cigarette structure of the present invention also may avoid users inhaling the droplets into mouth and making feel uncomfortable when hard inhaled by the users. So the electronic cigarette of the present invention is a safe electronic cigarette with less harmful to health.

  • DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
  • Referring to FIG. 6 and FIG. 7, an electronic cigarette of the present invention includes an e-liquid cup, an atomizer, an atomizer control circuit board 211 and a battery 209, and all aforementioned components are disposed in an inhalation rod sleeve 201. One end of the inhalation rod sleeve 210 disposes a mouthpiece cover 201, and the other end disposes a bottom cover 216.
  • The atomizer is used to atomize the e-liquid in the e-liquid cup to aerosol. The atomizer includes a heating wire 206 and a liquid-guiding wick 207 operable to absorb e-liquid and support the heating wire 206. The heating wire 206 winds on the liquid-guiding wick 207. Two ends of the heating wire 206 respectively connect with two electrodes of the battery 209 by electrical wires 215. The liquid-guiding wick 207 may be made of fiberglass or other materials capable of absorbing liquid and storing liquid such as cotton material, and is able to absorb liquid and store liquid like sponge.
  • The e-liquid cup includes a liquid-storage member 202 for storing e-liquid, a liquid-guiding tube 203 for guiding e-liquid out from the liquid-storage member 202, an air-guiding tube 204, the mouthpiece cover 201, an atomization seat 208 and a fixing tube 214. The atomization seat 208 and the mouthpiece cover 201 are oppositely disposed and spaced by a certain distance. The air-guiding tube 204 is fixed between the atomization seat 208 and the mouthpiece cover 201. The liquid-guiding tube 203 is sheathed at an outer of the air-guiding tube 204, meanwhile the liquid-guiding tube 203 is disposed at an internal of the liquid-storage member 202. The air-guiding tube 204 defines a latching slot 205 through a tube wall thereof, being used to support and fix the liquid-guiding wick 207. The liquid-guiding wick 207 crosses across the internal of the air-guiding tube 204, and the two ends of the liquid-guiding wick 207 respectively pass through the latching slot 205 to abut with the liquid-guiding tube 203 to absorb e-liquid for the heating wire to atomize. The fixing tube 214 is used to fix the liquid-guiding wick 207 and limit longitudinal moving range. The air-guiding tube 204 is used to support the liquid-storage member 202, and is simultaneously used to control a height of the e-liquid cup and support the liquid-guiding wick 207, also is used as a channel for leading the aerosol produced by the e-liquid being atomized by the atomizer to the outer of the inhalation rod sleeve.
  • Referring to FIG. 8 to FIG. 20, in the embodiment, the mouthpiece cover 201 is a solid body disposed with multiple ventilation grooves 212 on a peripheral sidewall, and the ventilation groove 212 of the mouthpiece cover are communicating with the air-guiding tube 204. Therefore atomized e-liquid enters into human mouth through the peripheral sidewall of the mouthpiece cover 201, which can avoid the atomized e-liquid straight entering into the human mouth, and then may reduce harmful to mouth caused by high temperature. Furthermore, when the atomized e-liquid is condensed to droplets, the electronic cigarette structure of the present invention also may avoid users inhaling the droplets into mouth and making feel uncomfortable when hard inhaled by the users. The ventilation groove of the embodiment also may not be disposed at the periphery of the mouthpiece cover 201, but be disposed air vent between the center and the periphery, which also can achieve the same technical effects.
  • Between the air-guiding tube 204 and the mouthpiece cover 201 disposes a sealing ring 213. At a center of the sealing ring 213 defines a through hole 217 which is communicated with the air-guiding tube 204. The ventilation groove 212 of the mouthpiece cover communicates with the through hole 217 of the sealing ring 213. Between the mouthpiece cover 201 and the sealing ring 213 defines a gap. The ventilation groove 212 of the mouthpiece cover and the through hole 217 of the sealing ring are communicated by the gap. The disposed sealing ring makes air tightness of the electronic cigarette better, and ensures a sole air outlet channel for the atomized e-liquid flowing from the air-guiding tube to the mouthpiece cover, and enables other components not to be affected by the aerosol.
  • The ventilation groove 212 at the periphery of the mouthpiece cover may be designed as regular or irregular shapes according to product appearance needs. The size of the ventilation groove 212 at the periphery of the mouthpiece cover 201 may be designed as different values according to the needs of users. Referring to FIG. 9 to FIG. 11, a cross section of the ventilation groove 212 of the mouthpiece cover is triangular; referring to FIG. 12 to FIG. 14, the cross section of the ventilation groove 212 of the mouthpiece cover is semicircular; referring to FIG. 15 to FIG. 17, the cross section of the ventilation groove 212 of the mouthpiece cover is rectangular; referring to FIG. 18 to FIG. 20, the cross section of the ventilation groove 212 of the mouthpiece cover is trapezoid. The cross section of the ventilation groove 212 of the mouthpiece cover also may be round, or oval, or arc segments and so on.
  • The ventilation groove of the mouthpiece cover also may be made some changes in the design according to different needs. For example, the ventilation groove of the mouthpiece cover includes multiple inlet branches which are merged into at least one outlet, and the multiple inlet branches communicate with the air-guiding tube; or the ventilation groove of the mouthpiece cover includes at least one inlet which is divided into multiple outlet branches, the at least one inlet communicates with the air-guiding tube; or the ventilation groove of the mouthpiece cover is a spiral structure winding on an outer wall of the mouthpiece cover.
  • Embodiments of the present invention is shown and described in the above-mentioned. Various improvement and modifications can be made to the embodiments by those skilled in the art without departing from the true spirit and scope of the disclosure. The scope of the present invention is defined by the appended claims and equivalents thereof

Claims (20)

1. A mouthpiece cover for an electronic cigarette, wherein between a center of an inner side of the mouthpiece cover and a periphery of the mouthpiece cover defines air vent, or at the periphery of the mouthpiece cover defines ventilation groove, the air vent, the ventilation groove are communicated with front and back end surfaces of the mouthpiece cover.
2. According to the mouthpiece cover in claim 1, wherein a cross section of the air vent or the ventilation groove of the mouthpiece cover is triangular, or semicircular, or rectangular, or trapezoid, or circular, or oval, or arc segment.
3. According to the mouthpiece cover in claim 1, wherein the air vent or the ventilation groove of the mouthpiece cover includes multiple inlet branches which are merged into at least one outlet.
4. According to the mouthpiece cover in claim 1, wherein the air vent or the ventilation groove of the mouthpiece cover includes at least one inlet which is divided into multiple outlet branches.
5. According to the mouthpiece cover in claim 1, wherein the air vent or the ventilation groove of the mouthpiece cover is set as spiral configuration.
6. An electronic cigarette, comprising an e-liquid cup and an atomizer which are all disposed in an inhalation rod sleeve, the e-liquid cup including a liquid-storage member for storing e-liquid, an-liquid guiding tube for guiding e-liquid out from the liquid-storage member, and an air-guiding tube being disposed in the liquid-guiding tube, and a mouthpiece cover, wherein between a center of the inner side of the mouthpiece cover and a periphery of the mouthpiece cover defines air vent, or at the periphery of the mouthpiece cover defines ventilation groove, the air vent, the ventilation groove are communicated with front and back end surfaces of the mouthpiece cover.
7. According to the electronic cigarette in claim 6, wherein a cross section of the air vent or the ventilation groove of the mouthpiece cover is triangular, or semicircular, or rectangular, or trapezoid, or circular, or oval, or arc segment.
8. According to the electronic cigarette in claim 6, wherein the air vent or the ventilation groove of the mouthpiece cover includes multiple inlet branches which are merged into at least one outlet, the multiple inlet branches are communicated with the air-guiding tube.
9. According to the electronic cigarette in claim 6, wherein the air vent or the ventilation groove of the mouthpiece cover includes at least one inlet which is divided into multiple outlet branches, the at least one inlet is communicated with the air-guiding tube.
10. According to the electronic cigarette in claim 6, wherein the air vent or the ventilation groove of the mouthpiece cover is set as spiral configuration.
11. According to the electronic cigarette in claim 6, wherein between the air-guiding tube and the mouthpiece cover disposes a sealing ring, at a center of the sealing ring defines a through hole which is communicated with the air-guiding tube, the air vent or the ventilation groove of the mouthpiece cover communicates with the through hole of the sealing ring.
12. According to the electronic cigarette in claim 6, wherein between the mouthpiece cover and the sealing ring disposes a lateral ventilation groove, the air vent or the ventilation groove and the through hole of the sealing ring are communicated by the lateral ventilation groove.
13. According to the electronic cigarette in claim 6, wherein between the mouthpiece cover and the sealing ring defines a gap; the air vent or the ventilation groove of the mouthpiece cover and the through hole of the sealing ring are communicated by the gap.
14. According to the electronic cigarette in claim 6, wherein the mouthpiece cover is detachably inserted at one end of the inhalation rod sleeve, or is integrally formed with the inhalation rod sleeve.
15. According to the mouthpiece cover in claim 2, wherein the air vent or the ventilation groove of the mouthpiece cover includes multiple inlet branches which are merged into at least one outlet.
16. According to the mouthpiece cover in claim 2, wherein the air vent or the ventilation groove of the mouthpiece cover includes at least one inlet which is divided into multiple outlet branches.
17. According to the mouthpiece cover in claim 2, wherein the air vent or the ventilation groove of the mouthpiece cover is set as spiral configuration.
18. According to the electronic cigarette in claim 7, wherein between the mouthpiece cover and the sealing ring disposes a lateral ventilation groove, the air vent or the ventilation groove and the through hole of the sealing ring are communicated by the lateral ventilation groove.
19. According to the electronic cigarette in claim 7, wherein between the mouthpiece cover and the sealing ring defines a gap; the air vent or the ventilation groove of the mouthpiece cover and the through hole of the sealing ring are communicated by the gap.
20. According to the electronic cigarette in claim 7, wherein the mouthpiece cover is detachably inserted at one end of the inhalation rod sleeve, or is integrally formed with the inhalation rod sleeve.
