Description
本出願は、2017年7月7日付韓国特許出願第10−2017−0086688号に基づいた優先権の利益を主張し、当該韓国特許出願の文献に開示された全ての内容は、本明細書の一部として含まれる。
Claims (18)
- 電極組立体と電解液を収容するケース;
前記電極組立体と電気的に連結され、前記ケースの外部に延長されるリード部;及び
前記電極組立体と前記リード部の間に形成され、所定の温度及び所定の圧力で前記電極組立体と前記リード部の間を電気的に遮断する電流遮断部;を含む二次電池。 - 前記電流遮断部は、
前記リード部と電気的に連結されるリード側伝導部と前記電極組立体と電気的に連結される電極側伝導部と前記リード側伝導部と前記電極側伝導部の間に絶縁するように形成される絶縁層を含む本体及び
前記本体の内部に移動可能に形成される伝導体素材のスイッチ部材を含み、
前記スイッチ部材は60℃の温度未満又は1barの圧力未満であるとき、前記リード側伝導部と前記電極側伝導部を電気的に連結する連結位置にあり、前記所定の温度及び所定の圧力で前記リード側伝導部と前記電極側伝導部を電気的に遮断する遮断位置に移動する請求項1に記載の二次電池。 - 前記電流遮断部は、
前記電極組立体と電気的に連結される電極側伝導部及び前記リード部と前記電極側伝導部の間に絶縁するように形成される絶縁層を含む本体及び
前記本体の内部から前記リード部の内部まで移動可能に形成される伝導体素材のスイッチ部材を含み、
前記スイッチ部材は60℃の温度未満又は1barの圧力未満であるとき、前記リード部と前記電極側伝導部を電気的に連結する連結位置にあり、前記所定の温度及び所定の圧力で前記リード部と前記電極側伝導部を電気的に遮断する遮断位置に移動する請求項1に記載の二次電池。 - 前記本体は、内部に前記リード側伝導部と前記絶縁層と前記電極側伝導部を連結する移動トンネルが形成される請求項2に記載の二次電池。
- 前記本体は、内部に前記リード部と前記絶縁層と前記電極側伝導部を連結する移動トンネルが形成される請求項3に記載の二次電池。
- 前記スイッチ部材は、前記移動トンネルの内部で移動可能に形成される請求項4又は5に記載の二次電池。
- 前記リード側伝導部の内部に形成された前記移動トンネルの一部には、前記スイッチ部材が前記連結位置にありつつ、前記リード側伝導部と前記電極側伝導部を電気的に連結するように前記スイッチ部材の移動を妨害する支持部材が形成される請求項4に記載の二次電池。
- 前記リード部の内部に形成された前記移動トンネルの一部には、前記スイッチ部材が前記連結位置にありつつ、前記リード部と前記電極側伝導部を電気的に連結するように前記スイッチ部材の移動を妨害する支持部材が形成される請求項5に記載の二次電池。
- 前記支持部材は60℃の温度未満では固体の形態を維持し、
前記所定の温度ではメルティング(melting)され、流動性を有するようになる請求項7又は8に記載の二次電池。 - 前記ケースの内部の空間と前記移動トンネルが互いに連通するように前記電極側伝導部の端部には貫通流路が形成され、
前記連結位置で前記スイッチ部材は前記貫通流路を塞いでいる請求項9に記載の二次電池。 - 前記貫通流路を介して前記ケースの内部の圧力が前記スイッチ部材に伝達する請求項10に記載の二次電池。
- 前記所定の温度で前記支持部材がメルティングされた状態において、前記貫通流路を介して前記スイッチ部材に前記所定の圧力である前記ケースの内部の圧力が伝達すると、前記スイッチ部材が前記遮断位置に移動しつつ、前記リード部と前記電極側伝導部は互いに絶縁される請求項11に記載の二次電池。
- 前記所定の温度は60℃〜120℃であり、前記所定の圧力は1bar〜4barである請求項1に記載の二次電池。
- 前記スイッチ部材は、前記連結位置で一端部が前記リード側伝導部と電気的に連結され、他端部が前記電極側伝導部に電気的に連結される請求項2に記載の二次電池。
- 前記スイッチ部材は、前記連結位置で一端部が前記リード部と電気的に連結され、他端部が前記電極側伝導部に電気的に連結される請求項3に記載の二次電池。
- 前記スイッチ部材は、銅(Cu)素材である請求項2又は3に記載の二次電池。
- 前記ケースは、前記絶縁層にシーリング結合される請求項2又は3に記載の二次電池。
- 前記支持部材は、微晶質(microcrystalline)のワックス(wax)又はポリマー(polymer)素材からなる請求項7又は8に記載の二次電池。
