Abstract
Description
加工期間は、ソノトロードが振動振幅Aで振動する期間である。
待機期間は、ソノトロード又はカウンターツールを長尺材に力FBで押圧する期間である。
溶着期間は、ソノトロード又はカウンターツールを長尺材に力FAで押圧する期間である。
しかし、溶着期間が加工期間より短いのが最も好ましいことが分かっている。溶着期間は、加工期間内にあることが好ましく、したがって、加工期間を溶着期間の前に開始し、溶着期間を、加工期間を終了する前に終了することが好ましい。

Claims (11)
- 長尺材をソノトロードとカウンターツールとの間を通して移動させ、前記長尺材を間欠的に加工する長尺材の間欠超音波加工方法であって、
加工期間において前記ソノトロードを振動振幅Aの超音波振動で励振し、移動期間において前記ソノトロードを振動振幅Bで励振し、但しB<Aであり、
前記加工期間中及び前記移動期間中において、前記長尺材が前記ソノトロード及び前記カウンターツールの両方に接触していることを特徴とする方法。 - 前記振動振幅BがB>0であることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記移動期間における前記振動振幅Bが、前記加工期間における前記振動振幅Aの10%〜30%の間であることを特徴とする、請求項2に記載の方法。
- 前記ソノトロードとして円筒状のシール面をもつ回転式ソノトロードを選択し、前記加工期間中及び前記移動期間中の両方において、前記ソノトロードを、回転軸を中心に回転させることを特徴とする、請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記回転式ソノトロードの回転角を検出し、検出した前記回転角によって、前記加工期間及び/又は前記移動期間の開始と終了を判定することを特徴とする、請求項4に記載の方法。
- 溶着期間において、前記ソノトロード又は前記カウンターツールを前記長尺材に所定の力FAで押圧することを特徴とする請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 待機期間において、前記ソノトロード又は前記カウンターツールを前記長尺材に所定の力FBで押圧し、前記力FBがFB<FAであることを特徴とする、請求項6に記載の方法。
- 前記溶着期間が前記加工期間より短いことを特徴とする、請求項6又は7に記載の方法。
- 前記溶着期間が前記加工期間内にあり、前記加工期間を前記溶着期間の前に開始し、前記溶着期間を、好ましくは、前記加工期間を終了する前に終了することを特徴とする、請求項6〜8のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記移動期間と前記加工期間との間に傾斜期間を設け、前記ソノトロードの前記超音波振動の振動振幅を前記振動振幅Bから前記振動振幅Aまで、連続的、又は、段階的に増加させることを特徴とする、請求項1〜7のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記加工期間、前記移動期間、及び前記傾斜期間において、前記長尺材を一定ウェブ速度vで前記ソノトロードと前記カウンターツールとの間を通して移動させ、前記傾斜期間の長さを、前記傾斜期間において、0.5〜10cmの範囲の、好ましくは、1〜5cmの範囲の前記長尺材が前記ソノトロードと前記カウンターツールとの間を通って移動するように選択することを特徴とする、請求項10に記載の方法。
