Abstract
Description
− 15〜55wt%の1種または複数の有機過酸化物、
− 15〜45wt%の、(i)エチレンまたはプロピレンと(ii)1−ブテンおよび/または1−オクテンとの少なくとも1種のコポリマー、ならびに
− 13〜45wt%の、それぞれ異なるBET表面積を有する少なくとも2種の充填剤タイプ、充填剤1および充填剤2:
(i)3〜15wt%の濃度でマスターバッチ中に存在し、100m2/g超のBET表面積を有する充填剤タイプ1;
(ii)10〜30wt%の濃度でマスターバッチ中に存在し、100m2/g以下のBET表面積を有する充填剤タイプ2
を含む、マスターバッチを提供することによって達成される。
本発明による2つのマスターバッチを調製した。第1のマスターバッチは、ジクミルペルオキシド(Perkadox(登録商標)BC、ex−AkzoNobel)を含有し;第2のマスターバッチは、ジ(tert−ブチルペルオキシイソプロピル)ベンゼン(Perkadox(登録商標)14S、ex−AkzoNobel)を含有していた。
異なるコポリマーを使用することを除いて、実施例1を繰り返した:Engage(商標)HM7387 ex−Dow(エチレンと1−ブテンのPOEコポリマー)
コポリマーとしてエチレン酢酸ビニル(EVA)コポリマー(Elvax(登録商標)360A ex−DuPont)を使用することを除いて、実験Inv.4を繰り返した。混合物があまりにも不均一なままであったので、この混合物を押し出すことが不可能であることがわかった。押出可能な混合物を得るために、シリカの量は、少なくとも20wt%まで上げなければならなかった。これは、より高価な生成物をもたらすだけではなく、押出機内でより多くの摩擦および摩耗も生じる。
二本ロール機でEVA系マスターバッチを作製する可能性を研究するために、POEの代わりにEVAを使用して実験Inv.3を繰り返すことを意図していた。
Claims (11)
- 過酸化物マスターバッチであって、
− 15〜55wt%の1種または複数の有機過酸化物、
− 15〜45wt%の、(i)エチレンまたはプロピレンと(ii)1−ブテンおよび/または1−オクテンとの少なくとも1種のコポリマー、ならびに
− 13〜45wt%の、それぞれ異なるBET表面積を有する少なくとも2種の充填剤タイプ、充填剤タイプ1および充填剤タイプ2:
(i)3〜15wt%の濃度でマスターバッチ中に存在し、100m2/g超のBET表面積を有する充填剤タイプ1、
(ii)10〜30wt%の濃度でマスターバッチ中に存在し、100m2/g以下のBET表面積を有する充填剤タイプ2
を含む、過酸化物マスターバッチ。 - 30〜52wt%の1種または複数の過酸化物を含む、請求項1に記載の過酸化物マスターバッチ。
- 前記有機過酸化物が、ジクミルペルオキシド、ジ(tert−ブチルペルオキシイソプロピル)ベンゼン、1,1−ジ(tert−ブチルペルオキシ)−3,3,5−トリ−メチルシクロヘキサン、ブチル−4,4−ジ(tert−ブチルペルオキシ)バレレート、2,5−ジメチル−2,5−ジ(tert−ブチルペルオキシ)ヘキサン、およびペルオキシ−3,5,5−トリメチルヘキサン酸tert−ブチルからなる群から選択される、前記請求項のいずれか一項に記載の過酸化物マスターバッチ。
- 充填剤タイプ1が、150m2/g超のBET表面積を有する、前記請求項のいずれか一項に記載の過酸化物マスターバッチ。
- 充填剤タイプ1が、カーボンブラック、シリカ、およびその組合せから選択される、前記請求項のいずれか一項に記載の過酸化物マスターバッチ。
- 充填剤タイプ2が、10m2/g未満のBET表面積を有する、前記請求項のいずれか一項に記載の過酸化物マスターバッチ。
- 充填剤タイプ2が、炭酸カルシウム、硫酸バリウム、粘土、およびその組合せから選択される、前記請求項のいずれか一項に記載の過酸化物マスターバッチ。
- 前記請求項のいずれか一項に記載の過酸化物マスターバッチを調製するための方法であって、前記1種または複数の有機過酸化物、前記コポリマーの顆粒またはペレット、および前記少なくとも2種の充填剤タイプを、押出機に加え、50〜95℃の範囲の温度で押出す、方法。
- エラストマーを架橋するための方法であって、請求項1〜7のいずれか一項に記載の前記過酸化物マスターバッチを、架橋すべきエラストマー中に分散させるステップを含む、方法。
- 前記エラストマーがEPMまたはEPDMである、請求項9に記載の方法。
- ポリエチレンの架橋、改質、もしくは官能化、ポリプロピレンの分解もしくは官能化、または熱可塑性加硫物の生成のための、請求項1〜7のいずれか一項に記載の前記過酸化物マスターバッチの使用。
