Abstract
Description
実施形態1は、多層赤外線(IR)反射フィルムであって、
強め合う干渉及び弱め合う干渉によって光を反射するように配置された複数のポリマー層を備える光学繰り返し単位であり、複数のポリマー層が光学層A及びBを含み、光学層Aが高屈折率ポリマー層であり、光学層Bが、1つ以上のフルオロポリマーを含む低屈折率等方性ポリマー層である、光学繰り返し単位を備え、
フィルムが、約850nm〜約1850nmの近赤外波長領域において約50%〜約100%の平均反射率を有し、
フィルムが、可視光領域において約70%〜約90%の平均透過率を有し、
光学層Aが、約350nm〜約400nmの紫外線(UV)波長領域において1%未満の光を吸収する、フィルムである。
Berremanアルゴリズムを用いた4×4マトリックス法を使用して、屈折率の異なる材料の層界面によって生じる強め合う干渉及び弱め合う干渉のスペクトルをモデル化した。Berreman 4×4マトリックス法は、the Journal of the Optical Society of America(Volume 62,Number 4,April 1972)及びthe Journal of Applied Physics(Volume 85,Number 6,March 1999)に記載されている。この光学モデルの入力パラメータは、個々のポリマー屈折率、ポリマー層の厚さ、ポリマー層の数、並びに左帯域エッジ及び右帯域エッジを含む反射帯域幅であった。Berreman法は、各層界面で反射した光の割合及び各層界面を透過した光の割合を算出し、反射スペクトル及び透過スペクトルを出力する。Berreman法は、スペクトル出力からの色応答を算出するためにも使用することができる。色応答は、周知のCIE(L*,a*,b*)色座標に関して定量化される。CIE系を用いて色を演算する標準的な作業方法が、ASTM E−308に記載されている。
上述のコンピュータシミュレーション法によって、交互するAB構造を有する多層IR反射フィルムをシミュレーションした。

Claims (15)
- 多層赤外線(IR)反射フィルムであって、
強め合う干渉及び弱め合う干渉によって光を反射するように配置された複数のポリマー層を備える光学繰り返し単位を備え、前記複数の光学的なポリマー層は、光学層A及びBを含み、前記光学層Aは、高屈折率ポリマー層であり、前記光学層Bは、1つ以上のフルオロポリマーを含む低屈折率等方性ポリマー層であり、
前記フィルムは、約850nm〜約1850nmの近赤外波長領域において約50%〜約100%の平均反射率を有し、
前記フィルムは、可視光領域において約70%〜約90%の平均透過率を有し、
前記光学層Aは、約350nm〜約400nmの紫外線(UV)波長領域において1%未満の光を吸収する、多層赤外線(IR)反射フィルム。 - 前記光学層Bは、約30モル%〜約80モル%のテトラフルオロエチレン(TFE)、及び約20モル%〜約70モル%のヘキサフルオロプロピレン(HFP)を含む、請求項1に記載のフィルム。
- 前記光学層Bは、約30モル%〜約75モル%のテトラフルオロエチレン(TFE)、5モル%〜約30モル%のヘキサフルオロプロピレン(HFP)、約55モル%未満のフッ化ビニリデン(VDF)、及び約15モル%未満のパーフルオロプロピルビニルエーテル(PPVE)を含む、請求項2に記載のフィルム。
- 前記光学層Bは、約35モル%〜約80モル%のテトラフルオロエチレン(TFE)、約5モル%〜約50モル%のヘキサフルオロプロピレン(HFP)、及び約15モル%未満のパーフルオロプロピルビニルエーテル(PPVE)を含む、請求項2に記載のフィルム。
- 前記光学層Aは、ポリエステルを含む、請求項1に記載のフィルム。
- 前記光学層Aは、ポリエチレンテレフタレート(PET)を含む、請求項1に記載のフィルム。
- 前記光学層Aは、ポリメチルメタクリレート(PMMA)を含む、請求項1に記載のフィルム。
- 前記光学繰り返し単位の前記複数のポリマー層は、約7:1:1:7:1:1の厚さ比でABABABの順に配置されている、請求項1に記載のフィルム。
- 前記光学層Aの面内屈折率は、前記光学層Aの面内屈折率よりも約0.26〜約0.32高い、請求項1に記載のフィルム。
- 前記ポリマー層Bは、約1.34〜約1.40の範囲内の面内屈折率を有する、請求項1に記載のフィルム。
- 前記ポリマー層Aは、約1.62〜約1.68の範囲内の面内屈折率を有する、請求項1に記載のフィルム。
- 前記フィルムは、−5.0<a*<5.0及び−5.0<b*<5.0のCIE(L*,a*,b*)色座標を有する、請求項1に記載のフィルム。
- 波長領域850nm〜1850nmの赤外光及び波長領域750nm〜850nmの近赤外光の少なくとも一方を吸収できる1つ以上の吸収染料又は顔料を更に含む、請求項1に記載のフィルム。
- 前記フィルムは、約0.3〜約0.5の範囲内の日射熱取得率を有する、請求項1に記載のフィルム。
- 主面を有する窓であって、請求項1〜14のいずれか一項に記載のフィルムが、前記主面に設けられている、窓。
