Claims (6)
- 複数の電池セルを配列させて構成した組電池と熱媒体との熱交換により前記熱媒体を蒸発させることによって、前記組電池を冷却する蒸発器と、
前記蒸発器よりも上方に配置されており、前記熱媒体と外部流体との熱交換により前記熱媒体を凝縮させることによって、前記熱媒体の熱を前記外部流体に放熱する凝縮器と、
前記蒸発器から前記凝縮器に気相の前記熱媒体を導くための気相通路部と、
前記凝縮器から前記蒸発器に液相の前記熱媒体を導くための液相通路部と、
を備えた冷却装置であって、
前記蒸発器の電池セル配列方向の端部での冷却量が、前記蒸発器の電池セル配列方向の中央部での冷却量よりも低いことを特徴とする冷却装置。 - 前記蒸発器内には、上下方向に延びる複数の蒸発流路が、前記電池セル配列方向に並列で形成されており、
前記電池セル配列方向で単位長さあたりの前記蒸発流路の幅は、前記電池セル配列方向で端部のほうが、前記電池セル配列方向で中央部よりも狭いことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の冷却装置。 - 前記単位長さは、前記電池セルの前記電池セル配列方向の幅であることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の冷却装置。
- 前記蒸発器内には、前記電池セル配列方向で隣り合った前記蒸発流路を隔てる複数の隔壁が設けられており、
前記電池セル配列方向での隣り合った隔壁の間隔は、前記蒸発器の前記電池セル配列方向で端部のほうが、前記電池セル配列方向で中央部よりも狭いことを特徴とする請求項2または3に記載の冷却装置。 - 前記蒸発器内には、上下方向に延びる複数の蒸発流路が、前記電池セル配列方向に並列で形成されており、
前記電池セル配列方向に対して直交する方向で、前記蒸発流路を流れる前記熱媒体と前記電池セルとの距離は、前記蒸発器の前記電池セル配列方向で端部のほうが、前記蒸発器の前記電池セル配列方向で中央部よりも遠いことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の冷却装置。 - 前記蒸発器内には、上下方向に延びる複数の蒸発流路が、前記電池セル配列方向に並列で形成されており、
前記蒸発器の前記電池セル配列方向の端部と前記電池セルとの接触面が、前記蒸発器の前記電池セル配列方向の中央部と前記電池セルとの接触面よりも狭いことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の冷却装置。
