Abstract
【解決手段】発熱源である極板群が直接接触している電池底面に、セルに対応し両側に貫通する溝の中間セル幅が端セルの幅よりも大きくした電槽を用い、対流による中間セルの放熱効果を向上させることで、冷却効果が高く、しかもセル間の温度差の少ない電池を得ることができる。

Description
を大きくするために極板群の極板構成枚数を多くする極板間距離の短い複数セルを有した電池において、信頼性の高い充放電サイクル寿命特性を得るため、セル間の温度差を低く抑え、かつ電池温度の上昇を抑制する構造を有した電池を得ることができる。
図1は、本発明の実施の形態による制御弁式鉛蓄電池の概略断面図を示す。
図3には本発明における別の実施の形態による制御弁式鉛蓄電池の底面図を示す。

Claims (3)
- 長さ方向に隣接する複数のセルを備えた電槽を用い、正極板と負極板およびセパレータを介して積層された極板群を前記セルに収納した制御弁式鉛蓄電池において、前記電槽の底面には各セルに対応するように前記セルの幅方向に貫通する通風経路用の溝を有し、前記溝の幅は、前記電槽の中央部の中間セルが端セルの幅よりも広いことを特徴とした制御弁式鉛蓄電池。
- 前記極板群は、前記底面の溝により前記セルの内部に形成される凸部に載置されることを特徴とする請求項1記載の制御弁式鉛蓄電池。
- 前記セルの幅方向に貫通する通風経路用の溝に交差するように、前記電槽の長さ方向に少なくとも1本の通風経路用の溝を有することを特徴とする請求項1記載の制御弁式鉛蓄電池。
