- 複数のシリンダ(21)を有する大型エンジンをガスモードで運転するための方法であって、燃料を導入することによって、ある空燃比を有する予混合された混合気を燃焼室に供給し、前記空燃比又は前記大型エンジン(20)が運転される負荷に依存する少なくとも1つの制御パラメータを監視し、前記制御パラメータが限界値に達した場合に、前記大型エンジン(20)を低減モードで運転する方法において、
前記低減モードにおいて、少なくとも1つのシリンダ(21)がオフにされて、前記大型エンジン(20)が低減された数のシリンダ(21)で運転され、前記空燃比が前記低減された数のシリンダ(21)に適合されていることを特徴とする
方法。 - 前記制御パラメータが、前記大型エンジン(20)が運転される前記負荷又は回転速度である、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記制御パラメータが前記空燃比である、請求項1又は2に記載の方法。
- 前記制御パラメータが、前記大型エンジン(20)の過渡的な挙動に依存する、請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記制御パラメータが、前記シリンダ(21)内の最大圧力(PM)と前記シリンダ(21)の圧縮圧力(PC)との比率である点火率に依存する、請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記低減モードにおいて、前記低減モードに必要な最小数のシリンダ(21)が決定される、請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記低減モードにおいて、前記大型エンジン(20)の少なくとも1つ、好ましくは複数の動作パラメータが調整される、請求項1〜6のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記動作パラメータとして、前記シリンダの出口弁の閉タイミング、前記出口弁の開タイミング、前記燃料の導入のための噴射開始時期、前記燃料が導入されるときの噴射圧力、前記混合気の点火タイミング、及び前記シリンダ(21)内の最大圧力の内、少なくとも1つが選択されている、請求項7に記載の方法。
- 前記低減モードにおいて、前記空燃比が、給気圧力を介して、又は給気空気温度を介して調整される、請求項1〜8のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記低減モードにおいて、前記空燃比が、出口弁(24)の開タイミングを介して、又は出口弁(24)の閉タイミングを介して調整される、請求項1〜9のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記低減モードにおいて、前記空燃比が、前記燃料の噴射開始時期又は噴射圧力を介して調整される、請求項1〜10のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記低減モードにおいて前記制御パラメータが監視され、前記制御パラメータが前記低減モードの条件を満たさなくなった場合、前記低減モードが終了される、請求項1〜11のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記低減モードにおいて、前記制御パラメータが監視され、前記低減されたシリンダ(21)の数が調整される、請求項1〜12のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 請求項1〜13のいずれか一項に記載の方法で運転されることを特徴とする大型エンジン。
- 液体燃料が燃焼のために燃焼室に導入される液体モードで運転可能で、且つ、ガスが燃料として前記燃焼室に導入されるガスモードでも運転可能な縦掃気式2ストローク大型ディーゼルエンジン(20)として、好ましくは、デュアルフューエル式大型ディーゼルエンジン(20)として設計された、請求項14に記載の大型エンジン。
