- 大型エンジンの動作方法であって、前記大型エンジン(20)は、少なくとも1つのシリンダ(21)を備え、前記シリンダ(21)は、シリンダ軸に沿って前後に運動可能なピストン(23)によって囲まれた燃焼室を有し、空気燃料混合物は、前記燃焼室内で圧縮比をもって前記ピストン(23)の運動を介して圧縮され、前記大型エンジン(20)の動作パラメータは、連続的に又は一定間隔で決定され、前記空気燃料混合物のための最適化された圧縮比は、前記動作パラメータに基づいて決定され、前記圧縮比は、前記最適化された圧縮比に適合されることを特徴とする、

請求項13に記載の大型エンジン。 - 前記大型エンジンは、デュアルフューエルの大型ディーゼル・エンジンとして設計され、液体燃料が燃焼のために前記燃焼室内に導入される液体モードで動作可能であり、ガスが前記燃焼室内に導入されるガス・モードでさらに動作可能である、
