Abstract
Description
積層方向に投影したときの投影面において、前記正極層、前記固体電解質層及び前記負極層の面積が実質的に同一であり、
前記固体電解質層は、前記固体電解質を含む中央部と、該中央部の外周に位置し、電気絶縁性且つ非イオン伝導性材料を有する材料を含む外周部とを有する固体電解質シートで構成される、全固体電池。
積層方向に投影したときの投影面において、前記正極層、前記セパレータ及び前記負極層の面積が実質的に同一であり、
前記セパレータは、セパレータ基材を含む中央部と、該中央部の外周に位置し、電気絶縁性且つ非イオン伝導性材料を有する材料を含む外周部とを有する、リチウムイオン電池。
正極活物質層22A、22Bに含まれる固体電解質は、負極活物質層32A、32Bや、固体電解質層40に含まれる固体電解質と同様のものでもよいし、異なってもよい。
負極活物質層32A、32Bに含まれる固体電解質は、正極活物質層22A、22Bや、固体電解質層40に含まれる固体電解質と同様のものでもよいし、異なってもよい。
先ず、例えば正極活物質と、固体電解質と、導電助剤と、バインダーとを混合して正極合剤を調製し、この正極合剤を所定の溶剤に分散させた正極合剤スラリーを作製する。次に、この正極合剤スラリーを正極集電体21に塗布して正極層前駆体(グリーンシート)作製した後、溶剤を乾燥させ、ロールプレス機などで圧縮することにより正極活物質層22A,22Bを形成し、正極層20を作製する。そして、この正極層20を複数枚準備する。
図5(a)及び図5(b)に示すように、固体電解質層50は、固体電解質を含む中央部51と、該中央部51の外周に位置し、電気絶縁性且つ非イオン伝導性を有する材料を含む外周部52とを有する固体電解質シートで構成されている。外周部52は、上記固体電解質シートの主面上に形成された層状部である。この層状部は、例えば、上記固体電解質層基材の正極層20側の主面に、例えば印刷法、スプレー法、カーテン法などで非イオン伝導性材料スラリーを塗布することにより形成することができる。
巻回型の全固体電池を製造する場合、先ず、帯状の正極集電体71に、その長手方向に関して上記と同様の正極合剤スラリーを間欠的に塗布して正極層前駆体(グリーンシート)作製した後、溶剤を乾燥させ、ロールプレス機などで圧縮することにより正極活物質層72A,72Bを形成し、正極層ユニット70Aを複数有する正極層70を作製する。正極層70の平面視において、複数の正極層ユニット70Aの面積及び形状は同じであるのが好ましい。また、複数の正極層ユニット70Aの配列ピッチは、正極集電体71の長手方向一端から他端に向かって大きくなっているのが好ましい。

Claims (22)
- 固体電解質を含む中央部と、該中央部の外周に位置し、電気絶縁性且つ非イオン伝導性を有する材料を含む外周部とを有する、固体電解質シート。
- 前記電気絶縁性且つ非イオン伝導性を有する材料は、非イオン伝導性絶縁セラミックス材料及び非イオン伝導性絶縁樹脂材料のいずれかで構成されるか、又はそれらの複合材料で構成される、請求項1に記載の固体電解質シート。
- 非イオン伝導性絶縁セラミックス材料は、酸化物セラミックス及び窒化物セラミックスのいずれか又は双方で構成される、請求項2に記載の固体電解質シート。
- 前記酸化物セラミックスは、Al2O3、Y2O3、MgO、CaO、SiO2、ZrO2及びTiO2からなる群から選択される1又は複数の材料であり、前記窒化物セラミックスは、AlN及びSi3N4からなる群から選択される1又は複数の材料である、請求項3に記載の固体電解質シート。
- 非イオン伝導性絶縁樹脂材料は、熱可塑性樹脂及び熱硬化性樹脂のいずれか又は双方で構成される、請求項2に記載の固体電解質シート。
- 前記熱可塑性樹脂は、ポリエチレン、ポリプロピレン、ポリスチレン、ポリカーボネート、メタクリル酸樹脂及びABS樹脂からなる群から選択される1又は複数の材料であり、前記熱硬化性樹脂は、フェノール樹脂、エポキシ樹脂、ポリウレタン、シリコーン樹脂及びアルキド樹脂からなる群から選択される1又は複数の材料である、請求項5に記載の固体電解質シート。
- 前記外周部は、前記中央部の全周に亘って形成されている、請求項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載の固体電解質シート。
- 前記外周部は、前記固体電解質シートの厚み方向の全体に亘って形成されている、請求項1〜7のいずれか1項に記載の固体電解質シート。
- 前記外周部は、前記固体電解質シートと一体的に設けられ、前記電気絶縁性且つ非イオン伝導性を有する材料が含浸された含浸部である、請求項1〜8のいずれか1項に記載の固体電解質シート。
- 前記外周部は、前記固体電解質シートの主面上に形成された層状部である、請求項1〜7のいずれか1項に記載の固体電解質シート。
- 正極層と、負極層と、前記正極層及び前記負極層の間に配置され、固体電解質を含む固体電解質層とを備え、
積層方向に投影したときの投影面において、前記正極層、前記固体電解質層及び前記負極層の面積が実質的に同一であり、
前記固体電解質層は、前記固体電解質を含む中央部と、該中央部の外周に位置し、電気絶縁性且つ非イオン伝導性材料を有する材料を含む外周部とを有する固体電解質シートで構成される、全固体電池。 - 前記電気絶縁性且つ非イオン伝導性を有する材料は、非イオン伝導性絶縁セラミックス材料及び非イオン伝導性絶縁樹脂材料のいずれかで構成されるか、又はそれらの複合材料で構成される、請求項11に記載の全固体電池。
- 非イオン伝導性絶縁セラミックス材料は、酸化物セラミックス及び窒化物セラミックスのいずれか又は双方で構成される、請求項12に記載の全固体電池。
- 前記酸化物セラミックスは、Al2O3、Y2O3、MgO、CaO、SiO2、ZrO2及びTiO2からなる群から選択される1又は複数の材料であり、前記窒化物セラミックスは、AlN及びSi3N4からなる群から選択される1又は複数の材料である、請求項13に記載の全固体電池。
- 非イオン伝導性絶縁樹脂材料は、熱可塑性樹脂及び熱硬化性樹脂のいずれか又は双方で構成される、請求項12に記載の全固体電池。
- 前記熱可塑性樹脂は、ポリエチレン、ポリプロピレン、ポリスチレン、ポリカーボネート、メタクリル酸樹脂及びABS樹脂からなる群から選択される1又は複数の材料であり、前記熱硬化性樹脂は、フェノール樹脂、エポキシ樹脂、ポリウレタン、シリコーン樹脂及びアルキド樹脂からなる群から選択される1又は複数の材料である、請求項15に記載の全固体電池。
- 前記外周部は、前記中央部の全周に亘って形成されている、請求項11〜16のいずれか1項に記載の全固体電池。
- 前記外周部は、前記固体電解質シートの厚み方向の全体に亘って形成されている、請求項11〜17のいずれか1項に記載の全固体電池。
- 前記外周部は、前記固体電解質シートと一体的に設けられ、前記電気絶縁性且つ非イオン伝導性を有する材料が含浸された含浸部である、請求項11〜18のいずれか1項に記載の全固体電池。
- 前記外周部は、前記固体電解質シートの前記正極層側の主面上に形成された層状部である、請求項11〜17のいずれか1項に記載の全固体電池。
- セパレータ基材を含む中央部と、該中央部の外周に位置し、電気絶縁性且つ非イオン伝導性を有する材料を含む外周部とを有する、セパレータ。
- 正極層と、負極層と、前記正極層及び前記負極層の間に配置されたセパレータとを備え、
積層方向に投影したときの投影面において、前記正極層、前記セパレータ及び前記負極層の面積が実質的に同一であり、
前記セパレータは、セパレータ基材を含む中央部と、該中央部の外周に位置し、電気絶縁性且つ非イオン伝導性材料を有する材料を含む外周部とを有する、リチウムイオン電池。
