Description
図1又は図2に示すように、圧力容器としての高圧タンク10は、細長中空状のライナ12と、ライナ12の外側を覆う繊維強化基材19と、を有する繊維構造体21における繊維強化基材19にマトリックス樹脂(ドットハッチングに示す)を含浸硬化させて構成されている。高圧タンク10は、マトリックス樹脂としての熱硬化性樹脂が含浸硬化した繊維強化基材19よりなる繊維強化複合材層11によってライナ12を補強し、高圧タンク10の耐圧性(機械的強度)を確保している。
図3又は図4に示すように、高圧タンク10の製造装置は、クローズドモールドで高圧タンク10を製造するための成形型31を備える。成形型31は下型32及び上型33で構成されており、成形型31は、型閉め状態で、形成すべき高圧タンク10の形状に対応したキャビティ34を備える。キャビティ34は、下型32に設けられた下型凹部32cと、上型33に設けられ上型凹部33cとを組み合わせて形成される。
高圧タンク10の製造方法は、キャビティ34に繊維構造体21を配置する配置工程と、熱硬化前の熱硬化性樹脂を繊維強化基材19に含浸させるための含浸工程と、熱硬化前の熱硬化性樹脂を熱硬化させる熱硬化工程と、を有する。さらに、高圧タンク10の製造方法は、熱硬化性樹脂が熱硬化して製造された高圧タンク10を冷却する冷却工程と、キャビティ34から高圧タンク10を取り出す取出工程と、を有する。
上記実施形態によれば、以下のような作用効果を得ることができる。
○ 高圧タンク10の製造は、クローズドモールドであるRTM法ではなく、オープンモールドで行ってもよい。例えば、図7に示すように、ライナ12の外側に、フィラメントワインディング法により、熱硬化性樹脂を含浸させた強化繊維を巻き付け、ライナ12の外側を覆う繊維強化基材19を形成する。そして、繊維強化基材19で覆われたライナ12、つまり繊維構造体21を、加熱装置としてのオーブン60内に配置して配置工程を行う。
○ 冷却工程では、ライナ12の内部に供給した湯Wによる冷却に加え、熱媒通路32a,33aに流す湯Wの温度調節によって冷却された下型32及び上型33による冷却を行ってもよい。
○ 含浸工程では、ライナ12の内部に湯Wを供給し、繊維強化基材19の内表面側からの加熱のみで熱硬化性樹脂57の含浸を促進させ、下型32及び上型33による熱硬化性樹脂57の加熱はなくてもよい。
○ ライナ12は樹脂製に限らず、金属製であってもよい。
Claims (7)
- 強化繊維製の繊維強化基材に含浸させた熱硬化性樹脂が熱硬化して形成された繊維強化複合材層によってライナの外側が覆われている圧力容器の製造方法であって、
前記繊維強化基材に含浸させた、熱硬化前の熱硬化性樹脂を熱硬化させる熱硬化工程では、前記ライナの内部に供給する流体との熱交換によって熱硬化前の熱硬化性樹脂を熱硬化させるとともに、前記繊維強化基材の外表面側からの加熱によって熱硬化前の熱硬化性樹脂を熱硬化させ、
前記ライナの内部に供給する流体の温度を、前記繊維強化基材の外表面側からの加熱温度よりも高くすることを特徴とする圧力容器の製造方法。 - 前記繊維強化基材で覆われた前記ライナを成形型のキャビティに配置し、前記繊維強化基材の外表面側からの加熱は、前記成形型からの加熱によって行われる請求項1に記載の圧力容器の製造方法。
- 前記熱硬化工程の前に前記キャビティ内に熱硬化前の熱硬化性樹脂を供給して前記繊維強化基材に熱硬化前の熱硬化性樹脂を含浸させる含浸工程を有し、
前記含浸工程では、前記ライナの内部に供給する流体との熱交換によって前記熱硬化性樹脂を加熱する請求項2に記載の圧力容器の製造方法。 - 前記熱硬化性樹脂が熱硬化して製造された前記圧力容器を冷却する冷却工程を有し、
前記冷却工程では、前記ライナの内部に供給する流体の温度を、前記成形型の温度より低い温度に調節する請求項2又は請求項3に記載の圧力容器の製造方法。 - 強化繊維製の繊維強化基材に含浸させた熱硬化性樹脂が熱硬化して形成された繊維強化複合材層によってライナの外側が覆われている圧力容器の製造装置であって、
前記ライナの内部に流体を供給する流体供給装置と、
前記繊維強化基材の外表面側から前記熱硬化性樹脂を加熱するための加熱装置と、
前記繊維強化基材に含浸させた、熱硬化前の熱硬化性樹脂を熱硬化させるとき、前記ライナの内部に供給する流体の温度を前記加熱装置による加熱温度よりも高い温度に調節する温度制御部と、を備えることを特徴とする圧力容器の製造装置。 - 前記繊維強化基材で覆われた前記ライナを配置するキャビティを有する成形型を備え、当該成形型は前記加熱装置として機能し、前記流体供給装置は、前記成形型に設けられた流入路を介して前記キャビティに連通しており、
前記キャビティに熱硬化前の熱硬化性樹脂を供給し、熱硬化前の熱硬化性樹脂を前記繊維強化基材に含浸させるとき、前記温度制御部は、前記ライナの内部に供給する流体の温度を、前記熱硬化性樹脂を加熱する温度に調節する請求項5に記載の圧力容器の製造装置。 - 前記熱硬化性樹脂が熱硬化して製造された前記圧力容器を前記成形型から取り出す前、前記温度制御部は、前記ライナの内部に供給する流体の温度を、前記成形型の温度より低い温度に調節する請求項6に記載の圧力容器の製造装置。
