Claims (4)
- 第1ワークを把持する第1主軸と、
第2ワークを把持する第2主軸と、
各主軸に把持された各ワークの軸方向端部を接合して前記第1ワークと前記第2ワークとを1つの接合ワークとする接合手段と、を有する工作機械であって、
前記第1主軸を、前記第1主軸の軸線に交差する方向に移動させる電動サーボモータと、
前記電動サーボモータの電流値を検出する電流値検出手段と、
両主軸により前記接合ワークを把持した状態で、前記第1主軸または前記第2主軸により前記接合ワークを回転させたときに前記電流値検出手段により検出される電流値に基づいて、前記接合ワークにおける前記第1ワークと前記第2ワークとの芯ずれを検出する芯ずれ検出手段と、を有することを特徴とする工作機械。 - 前記芯ずれ検出手段が、前記電流値検出手段により検出される電流値の振幅が所定値以上となったときに、前記接合ワークにおける前記第1ワークと前記第2ワークとの間の芯ずれを検出する、請求項1に記載の工作機械。
- 前記第1主軸の所定の回転位置を基準とした回転角度を検出する回転角度検出手段をさらに有し、
前記芯ずれ検出手段が、前記回転角度検出手段により検出された前記回転角度と前記電流値検出手段により検出される電流値の変動周期とに基づいて、前記第1ワークに対する前記第2ワークの芯ずれの方向を検出するように構成されている、請求項1または2に記載の工作機械。 - 前記接合手段が、前記第1主軸に把持された前記第1ワークの軸方向端部と前記第2主軸に把持された前記第2ワークの軸方向端部とを摩擦圧接するように構成されている、請求項1〜3の何れか1項に記載の工作機械。
