図1は本発明の一実施形態にかかる車両に搭載された回転電機及びその制御装置を示すブロック図である。車両100は、主として車両駆動源として使用される回転電機1(以下「電動機1」という)と、主として内燃機関(以下「エンジン」という)25によって駆動される発電機として使用される回転電機2(以下「発電機2」という)とを備えている。電動機1は車両100の運動エネルギによって回生発電を行う機能を備え、発電機2は電動機としてエンジン25を駆動する機能を備えている。
ステップS11では、コンバータ31に関連する故障(以下「コンバータ関連故障」という)が検知されたか否かを判別する。コンバータ関連故障には、スイッチング素子Q1の短絡故障の他、低圧側電圧V1を検出する電圧センサの故障、高圧側電圧V2を検出する電圧センサの故障、スイッチング素子Q1,Q2の温度を検出する温度センサの故障、コンバータ31を流れる直流電流を検出するセンサの故障などが含まれる。スイッチング素子Q1の短絡故障以外の故障が検出されたときは、スイッチング素子Q1をオン状態(スイッチ閉状態)に維持するフェールセーフ処理が実行される。したがって、コンバータ関連故障が発生した場合には、コンバータ31の電圧変換動作が停止され、低圧側電圧V1と、高圧側電圧V2とが等しくなる。上述したように本明細書では、この状態がコンバータ31の「変換動作異常」が発生した状態に相当する。
ステップS21では、変換動作異常フラグFDCFSAが「1」であるか否かを判別し、この答が否定(NO)であるときは、図6に示す通常の発電機駆動制御を実行する(ステップS25)。ステップS21の答が肯定(YES)であってコンバータ31の変換動作異常が発生したときは、エンジン回転数NEが図3に示す下限回転数NMOTRLと等しい閾値回転数NETHRより高いか否かを判別する(ステップS22)。
ステップS31では、アクセルペダル操作量AP及び車速VPに応じて車両100の目標駆動力TRQDRVを算出する。目標駆動力TRQDRVは、基本的にアクセルペダル操作量APが増加するほど増加するように設定される。ステップS32では、目標駆動力TRQDRV、電動機回転数NMOT、及び電動機1における損失などに基づいて、目標駆動力TRQDRVを得るために必要とされる車両要求電力PWRDRVを算出する。
ステップS51では、変換動作異常フラグFDCFSAが「1」であるか否かを判別し、その答が否定(NO)であるときは、電動機1の通常駆動制御を実行する(ステップS59)。通常駆動制御では、アクセルペダル操作量AP及び車速VPに応じて算出される目標駆動力TRQDRVが得られるように電動機要求トルクTRQMOTCMDが算出され、電動機要求トルクTRQMOTCMDに応じて電動機1に供給する駆動電流制御が行われる。
時刻t11にコンバータ関連故障が検出され、所定待機時間TWAIT経過後の時刻t12において変換動作異常フラグFDCFSAが「1」に設定される。そのとき車速VPはトルク制限開始車速VPDECHより高いので、電動機上限トルクTRQMOTLH、電動機下限トルクTRQMOTLL、及び電動機要求トルクTRQMOTCMDは何れも「0」に設定される。このとき上限車速設定処理(図示せず)において、実際の車速VPを急変させないように上限車速VPLHをフェールセーフ上限車速VPLHFSAに向けて徐々に減少させる過渡制御が開始される。
図10は図8に示す処理の変形例を示すフローチャートであり、この変形例は、図8のステップS54,S55を削除し、ステップS61〜S65を追加したものである。
ステップS53の答が否定(NO)であるときは、ステップS64に進み、トルク制限制御フラグFNMOTDECが「1」であるか否かを判別する。この答が否定(NO)であるときは、直ちにステップS57に進む。ステップS64の答が肯定(YES)であるときは、ステップS56に進み、その答が否定(NO)であるときはステップS62に進む。ステップS56の答が肯定(YES)であるときは、トルク制限制御フラグFNMOTDECを「0」に設定し(ステップS65)、ステップS57に進む。

Claims (7)
- バッテリと、前記バッテリから供給される直流電力を交流電力に変換して回転電機に駆動電力を供給するインバータと、前記バッテリと前記インバータとの間に設けられた直流電圧変換器とを備える、回転電機の制御装置において、
前記直流電圧変換器が変換動作を停止し、入出力電圧が等しくなる変換動作異常が発生した場合において、前記回転電機の回転速度が所定回転速度を超えているときは、前記回転電機の出力トルクを制限するトルク制限制御を実行し、
前記所定回転速度は、前記変換動作異常の発生時に前記直流電圧変換器において電気的共振が発生する可能性が高くなる所定周波数範囲の下限周波数に対応する回転速度に設定されることを特徴とする回転電機の制御装置。 - 前記回転電機は車両を駆動する駆動源として使用され、前記車両の運動エネルギによる回生発電を行い、その回生発電によって得られる電力は前記インバータを介して前記バッテリの充電に適用可能であり、
前記変換動作異常が発生したときは、前記回生発電を禁止することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の回転電機の制御装置。 - 前記変換動作異常を含む所定の異常が前記車両において発生した場合には、前記車両の走行速度が所定上限車速以下となるように前記回転電機を制御し、
前記所定上限車速は、前記所定回転速度に対応する前記車両の走行速度より低く設定されることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の回転電機の制御装置。 - 前記トルク制限制御は、前記回転電機の出力トルクを「0」とすることによって実行されることを特徴とする請求項1から3の何れか1項に記載の回転電機の制御装置。
- 前記トルク制限制御は、前記回転電機の回転速度に応じて前記回転電機の出力トルクを低減することによって実行され、前記回転速度が高いほど前記出力トルクの低減量を増加させることを特徴とする請求項1から3の何れか1項に記載の回転電機の制御装置。
- 発電機能を有する回転電機によって発電される交流電力を直流電力に変換するインバータと、該インバータから出力される直流電力によって充電可能なバッテリと、該バッテリと前記インバータとの間に設けられた直流電圧変換器とを備える回転電機の制御装置において、
前記直流電圧変換器が変換動作を停止し、入出力電圧が等しくなる変換動作異常が発生した場合において、前記回転電機の回転速度が所定回転速度を超えているときは、前記回転電機の回転速度を低下させる回転速度低減制御を実行し、
前記所定回転速度は、前記変換動作異常の発生時に前記直流電圧変換器において電気的共振が発生する可能性が高くなる所定周波数範囲の下限周波数に対応する回転速度に設定されることを特徴とする回転電機の制御装置。 - 前記回転電機は内燃機関によって回転駆動することによって発電可能に構成されており、前記変換動作異常が発生した場合には、前記回転電機の回転速度が前記所定回転速度を超えないように前記内燃機関の回転速度を制御する機関制御手段を備えることを特徴とする請求項6に記載の回転電機の制御装置。
