Claims (13)
- 1つ又は複数の印を示す光学効果層(OEL)を基板(x20)に生成するための方法であって、
a)基板(x20)表面に、i)小板状磁性顔料粒子又は磁化可能顔料粒子とii)バインダ材料とを含む、第1の状態にあるコーティング組成物を塗布して、前記基板(x20)にコーティング層(x30)を形成するステップと、
b)前記コーティング層(x30)を有する前記基板(x20)、並びに窪み及び/又は突起の形の1つ又は複数の印を有する軟磁性板(x10)を備えたアセンブリ(x00)を形成するステップであって、前記コーティング層(x30)を有する前記基板(x20)が前記軟磁性板(x10)の上に配置され、前記軟磁性板(x10)が、高透磁率の1つ又は複数の金属、合金、又は化合物から作られるか、非磁性材料に分散された25重量%〜95重量%の軟磁性粒子を含む複合材料から作られ、重量パーセントが軟磁性板(x10)の総重量に基づく、ステップと、
c)前記コーティング層(x30)を有する前記基板(x20)及びステップb)により得られた前記軟磁性板(x10)を備えた前記アセンブリ(x00)を、静磁界発生装置(x40)の不均一磁界に通して移動させて、前記小板状磁性顔料粒子又は磁化可能顔料粒子の少なくとも一部を二軸配向させるステップと、
d)前記コーティング組成物を第2の状態に固化させて、前記小板状磁性顔料粒子又は磁化可能顔料粒子を採用された位置及び配向に固定するステップとを含む方法。 - 前記軟磁性板(x10)が前記基板に面し、前記窪み及び/又は突起の形の前記1つ又は複数の印が前記基板(x20)に面し、前記コーティング層(x30)が前記アセンブリ(x00)の最上層である、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記複合材料の前記非磁性材料が、
ポリアミド、コポリアミド、ポリフタルイミド、ポリオレフィン、ポリエステル、ポリテトラフルオロエチレン、ポリアクリレート、ポリメタクリレート、ポリイミド、ポリエーテルイミド、ポリエーテルエーテルケトン、ポリアリールエーテルケトン、ポリフェニレンスルファイド、液晶ポリマー、ポリカーボネート、及びこれらの混合物から成る群から選択される熱可塑性材料、若しくは
エポキシ樹脂、フェノール樹脂、ポリイミド樹脂、シリコン樹脂、及びこれらの混合物から成る群から選択される熱硬化性材料、
を含む、又はこれらから成るポリマー母材である、請求項1又は2に記載の方法。 - 前記軟磁性粒子が、カルボニル鉄、カルボニルニッケル、コバルト、及びこれらの組合せから成る群から選択される、請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記軟磁性粒子が0.5μm〜100μmのd50を有する、請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記軟磁性板(x10)が、窪みの形の1つ又は複数の印を有し、前記複合材料から作られ、前記窪みの深さが、前記軟磁性板(x10)の厚さと比べて5%〜99%である、請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記軟磁性板(x10)が、窪みの形の1つ又は複数の印を有し、高透磁率の1つ又は複数の金属、合金、又は化合物から作られ、前記窪みの深さが、前記軟磁性板(x10)の厚さと比べて20%〜99%である、請求項1又は2に記載の方法。
- 前記コーティング組成物を固化する前記ステップd)が、前記ステップc)と一部同時に実行される、請求項1〜7のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記磁界発生装置が線形永久磁石ハルバッハ配列である、請求項1〜8のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記小板状磁性顔料粒子又は磁化可能顔料粒子が、小板状磁性薄膜干渉顔料粒子、小板状磁性コレステリック液晶顔料粒子、磁性材料を含む小板状干渉被覆顔料粒子、及びこれらの2つ以上の混合物から成る群から選択される小板状光学可変磁性顔料粒子又は磁化可能顔料粒子である、請求項1〜9のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記基板が、紙若しくはその他の繊維材料、紙含有材料、ガラス、金属、セラミック、プラスチック及びポリマー、金属化プラスチック若しくはポリマー、複合材料、及びこれらの混合物又は組合せから成る群から選択される、請求項1〜10のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- a)セキュリティ文書又は装飾要素若しくは物体を用意するステップと、
b)請求項1〜11のいずれか一項に記載の方法による光学効果層を、前記セキュリティ文書又は装飾要素若しくは物体に含まれるように用意するステップとを含む、セキュリティ文書又は装飾要素若しくは物体を製造する方法。 - 基板に塗布され、i)小板状磁性顔料粒子又は磁化可能顔料粒子とii)未固化状態のバインダ材料とを含むコーティング層に、1つ又は複数の印を磁気転写するための、請求項1〜11のいずれか一項に記載の軟磁性板(x10)と請求項1〜11のいずれか一項に記載の磁界発生装置(x40)との使用。
