Abstract
Description
本願は、2016年6月30日に出願された米国特許仮出願第62/356,985号の利益を主張する。この仮出願特許は参照によりその全体が本明細書に組み込まれる。
本開示での使用に好適するスチレン系ブロックコポリマーを作製し、試料1及び試料2と命名した。特に、試料1はスチレンのアニオン重合、及びその後、微細構造制御剤の存在下でブタジエンのアニオン重合に続けて、カップリングとその後の水素添加により作製した。生成したポリスチレンの分子量は、GPCによって5.6kg/molであると求められた。ブタジエン重合の終わりに収集した試料は、約13重量%のスチレン分で、1H NMRに基づいて71.1%のビニル分であり、GPCにより求めて、215kg/molの全体分子量であった。スチレン及びブタジエンをカップリングして、最終生成物をカップリング効率92.3%で形成した。その後、スチレン系ブロックコポリマーの試料を水素添加した。
本明細書で開示のタイプのIPCの特性を調査した。具体的には、スチレン系ブロックコポリマー及びポリプロピレンを70:30の重量比で含むIPC試料を作製した。表3は、これらの組成物の種々の特性を示し、実施例1、試料1及び試料2由来のスチレン系樹脂ポリマーを含むIPCをそれぞれ組成物4及び5と命名する。試験片を射出成形プラークから切り出し;配合物#2及び#3を230℃で射出成形し、配合物#4及び#5を210℃で射出成形した。組成物1はPVCを含み、組成物2は実施例1の試料3を含み、組成物3は市販の水素添加熱可塑性ゴムを含む。
試料1及び3の弾性を調査し、結果を表4に示す。
接着剤配合物におけるIPCの利点を調査した。具体的には、IPCを含むホットメルト接着剤配合物の特性を測定した。表5は、代表的配合物及び試験結果を示す。
Claims (20)
- 組成物であって、i)前記組成物の総重量を基準として約5重量%〜約95重量%の量で存在するスチレン系ブロックコポリマーと、ii)前記組成物の総重量を基準として約2重量%〜約98重量%の量で存在するポリオレフィンとを含み、約250℃未満の加工温度で押出されたフィルムで測定して、約1.4未満の等方性比を有する、組成物。
- 前記スチレン系ブロックコポリマーが、配置(AB)nX、A1BA2、(A1BA2)X、(A−B)n及び(A1−B−A2)n(ただし、A、A1及びA2は、少なくとも1種のモノアルケニルアレーンのポリマーブロックであり;
nは約2以上であり;
Bは、少なくとも1種の共役ジエンのポリマーブロックであり;
Xはカップリング剤の残基である)を有する、請求項1に記載の組成物。 - 前記モノアルケニルアレーンが、スチレン、α−メチルスチレン、パラメチルスチレン、ビニルトルエン、ビニルナフタレン、ジフェニルエチレン、パラブチルスチレン及びこれらの混合物からなる群より選択される、請求項2に記載の組成物。
- Xが、アルコキシシランカップリング剤の残基である、請求項2に記載の組成物。
- 前記Aブロックのスチレン含量が、前記ブロックコポリマー中のポリスチレンの重量パーセントを基準にして、約8%〜約20%の範囲である、請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 前記Bブロックが、ポリブタジエンを含む、請求項1に記載の組成物。
- Bブロックが、約60モルパーセント乃至約85モルパーセントのビニル分を含む、請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 配置(AB)nX又は(A1BA2)nX(n=3)を有するスチレン系ブロックコポリマーの分子量が、水素添加前で、約170kg/mol〜約230kg/molの範囲である、請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 前記スチレン系ブロックコポリマーが、約0.4MPa〜約1.6MPaの範囲の100%伸度モジュラスを有する、請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 前記スチレン系ブロックコポリマーが、約1g/10分〜約200g/10分のメルトインデックスを有する、請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 前記スチレン系ブロックコポリマーが、ASTM D412に準拠して求めた約500%〜約1600%の範囲の破断点伸びを有する、請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 前記スチレン系ブロックコポリマーが、約180℃〜約260℃の秩序無秩序転移温度(ODT)を有する、請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 前記ポリオレフィンが、ポリプロピレンを含む、請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 潤滑剤、滑剤、粘着付与剤、ダスティング剤、ブルー剤、着色剤、酸化防止剤、などをさらに含む、請求項1に記載の組成物。
- ASTM D1238に準拠して230℃、2.16kg重で測定して、約1g/10分〜約200g/10分のメルトインデックスを有する、請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 約5MPa〜約80MPaの引張強度を有する、請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 約80%〜約90%の範囲の透明度を有する、請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 請求項1に記載の組成物から形成されたフィルム。
- 請求項1に記載の組成物から作製されたチューブ。
- 請求項1に記載の組成物からの射出成形品。
