Abstract

Description
本発明は、加硫剤で親水性を有するナトリウムポリスルフィドを使用するので、シネレシス(synerisis)が緩くて、引張強度、伸び率、応力特性に優れ、汗に対する耐久性に優れたディップ成形品の製作が可能な、ディップ成形用ラテックス組成物及びこれより製造された成形品に関する。
本発明は、カルボン酸変性ニトリル系共重合体ラテックスを含むディップ成形用ラテックス組成物を示すが、加硫剤として硫黄の代わり親水性に優れたナトリウムポリスルフィドを使用する。
(段階a)重合反応器に共役ジエン系単量体、エチレン性不飽和ニトリル系単量体及びエチレン性不飽和酸単量体、乳化剤、重合開始剤及び脱イオン水を添加する段階;
(段階b)乳化重合を行う段階、
(段階c)重合を停止する段階を経て製造する。
同時に、本発明は、前記ディップ成形用ラテックス組成物から製造されたディップ成形品を提供する。
手の模様のディップ成形枠を凝固剤溶液に浸して、ディップ成形枠の表面に凝固剤を付着させる段階(段階a);
前記凝固剤が表面に付着されたディップ成形枠を前記のディップ成形用ラテックス組成物に浸漬してディップ成形層を形成させる段階(段階b);及び
前記ディップ成形層を加熱処理してラテックス樹脂を架橋させる段階を通じて製造することができる。
実施例1:ディップ成形用ラテックス組成物及びディップ成形品の製造
(カルボン酸変性ニトリル系共重合体ラテックスの製造)
撹拌機、温度計、冷却器、窒素ガスの引込口及び単量体、乳化剤、重合反応開始剤を連続的に投入できるように装置された10L高圧反応器を窒素に置換した後、アクリロニトリル25重量%、1,4−ブタジエン70重量%、メタクリル酸5重量%の単量体混合物100重量部に対してアルキルベンゼンスルホン酸ナトリウム2.5重量部、t−ドデシルメルカプタン0.5重量部及びイオン交換水140重量部を投入し、48℃まで昇温した。
前記製造されたカルボン酸変性ニトリル系共重合体ラテックス100重量部に10%濃度の親水性ナトリウムポリスルフィド溶液(Sodium Polysulfide)を混合して混合物を製造した。
18重量部のカルシウムニトラート、87.5重量部の蒸溜水、0.5重量部の湿潤剤(wetting agent)(Teric 320 produced by Huntsman Corporation、Australia)を混合して凝固剤溶液を作った。この溶液に手の模様のセラミックスモールドを10秒間浸し、取り出した後80℃で4分間乾燥して凝固剤を手の模様のモールドに付着させた。
親水性ナトリウムポリスルフィドを0.7重量部で使ったことを除いて、前記実施例1と同様に行ってディップ成形用ラテックス組成物を製造し、これを利用して手袋形態のディップ成形品を製造した。
親水性ナトリウムポリスルフィドを1.0重量部で使ったことを除いて、前記実施例1と同様に行ってディップ成形用ラテックス組成物を製造し、これを利用して手袋形態のディップ成形品を製造した。
親水性ナトリウムポリスルフィドの代わりに加硫剤(硫黄)1重量部を使ったことを除いて、前記実施例1と同様の方法を通じてディップ成形用ラテックス組成物と、これを利用して手袋形態のディップ成形品を製造した。
前記実施例と比較例で製造されたディップ成形品の物性を測定した。下記物性は、ディップ成形用ラテックス組成物の熟成時間を1日及び3日間行ったものを測定し、その結果を下記表1及び表2に示した。
得られたディップ成形品からEN 455−2に準じてダンベル形象の試片を製作した。次いで、この試片を伸び速度500mm/分で引っ張って、伸び率が300%及び500%である時の応力、破断時の引張強度及び破断時の伸び率を測定した。
塩化ナトリウム16重量部、乳酸16重量部、ウレア3.2重量部、水64.8重量部で構成された25℃のディップ成形品の耐久性測定用溶液を準備した後、耐久性測定装置にニトリルゴム手袋の試片を挟んだ後、前記試片を当初の長さの2倍(伸ばす時は最大2倍、縮める時は最低1倍)に増やしながら、切れる時までの回数を測定した。この時、回数が高いのは耐久性に優れたことを意味する。
120℃で6分乾燥する時、水滴がしたたる時間を確認してシネレシス時間を確認した。この時、シネレシス時間の長いほど作業性に優れることを意味する。
Claims (11)
- 共役ジエン系単量体、エチレン性不飽和ニトリル系単量体及びエチレン性不飽和酸単量体が共重合されたカルボン酸変性ニトリル系共重合体ラテックス;及び
ナトリウムポリスルフィドを含むことを特徴とするディップ成形用ラテックス組成物。 - 前記ディップ成形用ラテックス組成物は、カルボン酸変性ニトリル系共重合体100重量部に対してナトリウムポリスルフィド0.1ないし5重量部を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のディップ成形用ラテックス組成物。
- 前記ナトリウムポリスルフィドは、5ないし20重量%濃度の水溶液で使用されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のディップ成形用ラテックス組成物。
- 前記カルボン酸変性ニトリル系共重合体ラテックスは、ガラス転移温度が−30℃ないし−10℃で、平均粒径が100ないし500nm以上であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のディップ成形用ラテックス組成物。
- 前記カルボン酸変性ニトリル系共重合体は、単量体の総量100重量%に対して、
共役ジエン系単量体40ないし89重量%、エチレン性不飽和ニトリル系単量体10ないし50重量%及びエチレン性不飽和酸単量体0.1ないし10重量%が共重合されたことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のディップ成形用ラテックス組成物。 - 前記共役ジエン系単量体は、1,3−ブタジエン、2,3−ジメチル−1,3−ブタジエン、2−エチル−1,3−ブタジエン、1,3−ペンタジエン及びイソプレンからなる群から選択された1種以上であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のディップ成形用ラテックス組成物。
- 前記エチレン性不飽和ニトリル系単量体は、アクリロニトリル、メタクリロニトリル、フマロニトリル、α−クロロニトリル及びα−シアノエチルアクリロニトリルからなる群から選択された1種以上であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のディップ成形用ラテックス組成物。
- 前記エチレン性不飽和酸単量体は、アクリル酸、メタクリル酸、イタコン酸、マレイン酸、フマル酸、無水マレイン酸、シトラコン酸無水物、スチレンスルホン酸、フマル酸モノブチル、マレイン酸モノブチル及びマレイン酸モノ−2−ヒドロキシプロピルからなる群から選択された1種以上であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のディップ成形用ラテックス組成物。
- 前記カルボン酸変性ニトリル系共重合体は、共単量体としてエチレン性不飽和単量体をさらに含んで共重合されたことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のディップ成形用ラテックス組成物。
- 請求項1ないし9のいずれか一項に記載のディップ成形用ラテックス組成物をディップ成形して製造されたことを特徴とするディップ成形品。
- 前記ディップ成形品は、検査手袋、コンドーム、カテーテル、産業用手袋、手術用手袋、家庭用手袋、産業用手袋及び健康管理用品からなる群から1種以上選択されることを特徴とする請求項10に記載のディップ成形品。
