1−ヘキサノール、トランス−2−ヘキセナールおよびグアヤコールの比較
アプリケーターを使用して、[PVOH/1−ヘキサノール/SDS/水]エマルション、[PVOH/トランス−2−ヘキセナール/SDS/水]エマルション、または[PVOH/グアヤコール/SDS/水]溶液をPETシート上にキャスティングする。10ミル(254ミクロン)の湿厚を使用する。キャスティング直後、コーティングを、市販のヘアドライヤーを使用してコーティング面に対して約45°の角度に向けて、低速、冷風に設定し15分間乾燥する。その後、コーティングをドラフト内の乾燥ラック上に一晩放置する。

(c)前記混合物を凝固させて、前記固体基体上にコーティングを形成すること;および
(d)前記コーティングを前記固体基体から剥がして、フィルムまたはシートを生成すること
を含む、請求項1に記載の材料を調製する方法。 - 前記結合剤成分が、ポリビニルアルコールを含む、請求項39に記載の方法。
- 前記結合剤成分が、セルロース、デンプン、ガム、ポリエチレンオキシドおよびポリエチレングリコールを含まない、請求項39に記載の方法。
- 前記揮発性成分が、抗菌化合物を含む、請求項39に記載の方法。
- 前記揮発性成分が、揮発油を含む、請求項39に記載の方法。
- 前記揮発性成分が、40℃から300℃の間の沸点を有する、請求項39に記載の方法。
- 前記揮発性成分が、揮発性化合物または揮発性化合物と分子包接剤との分子複合体を含む、請求項39に記載の方法。
- 前記揮発性化合物が、1−メチルシクロプロペン(1−MCP)を含む、請求項45に記載の方法。
- 前記揮発性成分が、室温で、30%相対湿度未満では実質的に放出されないが、75%から100%の間の相対湿度では放出される、請求項39に記載の方法。

(b)前記包装の中、上、真下、または近くに、コーティングされた基体、フィルム、シートまたはラベルを挿入すること;および
(c)前記包装を密封または封入し、これにより、材料が、前記生鮮食品により生み出される高い相対湿度に曝露されること
を含む、請求項1に記載の材料を適用する方法。
