Abstract
Description
実施例1は電池電極を提供する。電池電極は複数のカーボンナノチューブ及び遷移金属酸化物ナノ粒子を含む。遷移金属酸化物ナノ粒子及び複数のカーボンナノチューブは、C−0−M化学結合で結合される。ここで、Mは遷移金属を表す。
S1、複数のカーボンナノチューブを提供し、複数のカーボンナノチューブを予め酸化し、複数のカーボンナノチューブは超配列カーボンナノチューブアレイから得られる。
S2、複数のカーボンナノチューブを溶媒中で超音波により分散させて、カーボンナノチューブ懸濁液を形成する。
S3、カーボンナノチューブ懸濁液に遷移金属オキシ酸含有物質を添加し、均一に撹拌して混合して、混合液を形成する。
S4、混合液をろ過して乾燥させ、遷移金属酸化物/カーボンナノチューブ複合電極を形成する。
実施例2はハイブリッドエネルギー貯蔵装置を提供する。ハイブリッドエネルギー貯蔵装置には、少なくとも一つ電極は実施例1の電極である。
MnO2/aCNT電極の製造方法は以下のステップを含む。まず、超配向カーボンナノチューブアレイを大気中に置き、550℃で30分間加熱してair−CNTを得る。次いで、100mgのair−CNTを脱イオン水に分散させて、カーボンナノチューブの懸濁液を獲得し、1.0gのKMnO4をカーボンナノチューブの懸濁液に加え、室温で6日間磁気的に撹拌する。次いで、真空濾過してMnO2/aCNT複合膜構造体を形成する。MnO2/aCNT複合膜構造体は複数のカーボンナノチューブとMnO2ナノ粒子を含む。MnO2ナノ粒子はC−O−Mn結合によってカーボンナノチューブと結合される。複数のカーボンナノチューブは絡み合って自立構造を有する膜を形成する。MnO2/aCNT複合膜構造体は良好な自立性と導電性を有するため、MnO2/aCNT複合膜構造体は電池電極としてそのまま使用することができる。集電体や導電剤を省略できる。
質量百分率50%のMnO2粉末、質量百分率40%のカーボンブラック及び質量百分率10%のPVDFを混合して、N-メチルピロリドン(NMP)によって分散してスラリーを形成し、スラリーを銅箔の表面に塗布し、真空乾燥して、MnO2電極を形成する。
MnO2/rCNT電極の製造方法はMnO2/aCNT複合膜構造体の製造方法と基本的に同じである。rCNTが無秩序なカーボンナノチューブアレイから取り出されるため、自立構造を形成できず、遷移金属酸化物に導電ネットワークを設けることができない。これにより、集電体、導電剤、バインダーが依然として必要であり、且つ電極におけるMnO2の質量比は50%であることを保証する。MnO2/rCNT複合材料、カーボンブラック及びPVDFを混合して、N-メチルピロリドン(NMP)によって分散してスラリーを形成し、スラリーを銅箔の表面に塗布し、真空乾燥して、MnO2/rCNT電極を形成する。
適量のair−CNTを採取し、水に分散させて、カーボンナノチューブ懸濁液を獲得し、カーボンナノチューブ懸濁液を真空ろ過して、air−CNT電極を得た。
図12では、図12(a)は不規則なカーボンナノチューブrCNTの走査電子顕微鏡写真である。図12(b)はair−CNTの走査電子顕微鏡写真である。図12(c)はMnO2の従来のブレード電極の走査電子顕微鏡写真である。図12(d)はMnO2/rCNT電極の走査電子顕微鏡写真である。図12(e)はMnO2/aCNT電極の走査電子顕微鏡写真である。図12から分かるように、凝集するrCNTは導電性の支持体として作用することが困難であるため、rCNTを採用する電極は自立構造を持たず、結合剤及び金属集電体を必要とする。連続な紡糸のようなair−CNTは、超音波で処理された後に、超配列構造を有さないが、三次元導電支持体として使用することができる。従来のMnO2電極におけるMnO2ナノ粒子は、導電剤と凝集して球状構造を形成する。rCNTが凝集しやすいために、MnO2/rCNT電極の形態は従来のMnO2電極の形態に類似している。透過型電子顕微鏡写真から見ると、MnO2粒子はair−CNT電極の表面を均一に覆う。MnO2粒子はair−CNT電極の表面を均一に覆うので、MnO2/aCNT電極の形態はair−CNT電極の形態に類似している。
図13では、図13(a)はMnO2の放電曲線である。図13(b)はMnO2/rCNT電極の放電曲線である。図13(c)はMnO2/aCNT電極の放電曲線である。図13から分かるように、他の二つの電極と比較して、MnO2/aCNT電極は以下の三つの特性を有する。第一に、ΔU電荷が放電に変わるときの電池電圧降下の値である。ΔU1st=0Vであり、ΔU2nd=0.22Vであり、ΔU50th=0.08Vであることから見ると、電圧降下値は非常に小さい。これは、電池の内部接触抵抗が低く、分極が小さいことを示している。直径10nmのMnO2はカーボンナノチューブの表面に均一に付着し、化学結合でカーボンナノチューブと結合しているので、十分な反応速度を保証できる。第二に、初めのサイクルの比容量維持率は70%に達し、他の二つの電極は初めのサイクル比容量維持率は50%未満である。この利点は、電極の固体電解質界面にはSEI膜が形成しやすく、平滑なカーボンナノチューブ及び酸素含有官能基がSEI膜の形成に有利である。他の電極における凝集した粗い形態を有する非活性のバインダー及び導電剤はSEI膜の形成に有利ではない。第三に、第50回目のサイクルでは、MnO2/aCNT電極の比容量が第2回目のサイクルの比容量に比べて増加する。その原因は以下のように説明される。(1)、通常、電解液がポールピースに完全に浸透するまで0.5〜2週間かかり、前記三つの電極におけるMnO2ナノ粒子は活性化されて反応中の活性物質になるので、すべてのMnO2電極は初期容量増加プロセスを有する。(2)、リチウムイオン電池において、分極、活性物質の損失などの不可逆的変化によって、放電容量はサイクル回数を増加するとともに減少する。MnO2/aCNT電極では分極が小さいので、(1)の記載工程が支配的であり、最初の50回の容量が増加する。他の二つの電極では強く分極されるので、(1)に記載される工程が支配的であるため、容量は低下し続ける。
図14を参照すると、充放電電流0.2A・g−1におけるMnO2、MnO2/rCNT、air−CNT、MnO2/aCNT電極の四つのサイクル特性曲線が示されている。MnO2/aCNT電極の初めのサイクル及び第2回のサイクルの比放電容量はそれぞれ1043.5mAh・g−1、718.3mAh・g−1であり、且つ第3回のサイクル後に比容量が増加し続け、第70回のサイクルの比容量が最大値843.8mAh・g−1に達する。さらに、MnO2/aCNT電極の実際の比容量はその理論値を超える。第70回のサイクルを例として、図からわかるように、第70回のサイクルでは、air−CNTの理論的比容量は175.3mAh・g−1であり、MnO2の理論比容量は1233mAh・g−1であり、MnO2/aCNT電極の理論的比容量は690.1mAh・g−1である(MnO2/aCNT電極おいては、カーボンナノチューブ、MnO2及び水の質量分率がそれぞれ42%、50%及び8%であるため、MnO2/aCNT電極の理論的比容量は以下の式で計算できる。175.3mAh・g−1×42%+1233mAh・g−1×50%+0×8%=690.1mAh・g−1)。しかし、MnO2/aCNT電極の実際の比容量は843.8mAh・g−1である。MnO2/aCNT電極の実際の大きい比容量は、MnO2とカーボンナノチューブとの間の界面容量性リチウム貯蔵現象に関する。すなわち、電解液におけるリチウムイオンの正電荷がカーボンナノチューブの表面の負電荷によって引き付けられ、カーボンナノチューブの表面に吸着される。20回のサイクル後、他の三つの電極の比容量は、初期比容量(1203.8mAh・g−1、835.4mAh・g−1、616.5mAh・g−1)から20回のサイクル後の比容量((380.2mAh・g−1、182.7mAh・g−1、145.4mAh・g−1)までに急激に減少する。ほかの三つの電極と比べて、MnO2/aCNT電極は優れたサイクル安定性を示す。
図16を参照されたい。MnO2/aCNT電極の長サイクル性能は、それぞれ2Ag−1及び5Ag−1の大きな充放電電流で試験された。電流が2Ag−1または5Ag−1であるとき、MnO2/aCNT電極の初期比容量はそれぞれ824.0mAh・g−1または718.3mAh・g−1である。電流が2Ag−1であるとき、MnO2/aCNT電極の比容量は第3回のサイクル後に増加し続け、第150回のサイクルに最大値630.2mAh・g−1に達する。また、電流が2.0Ag−1であるとき、1000回のサイクル後に、MnO2/aCNT電極の比容量減衰率は低い、MnO2/aCNT電極の比容量減衰率は0.075%である。電流が5.0A・g−1であるとき、1000回のサイクル後に、MnO2/aCNT電極の比容量減衰率は低い。MnO2/aCNT電極の比容量減衰率は0.140%である。これにより、MnO2/aCNT電極は、大電流での長サイクル特性に優れていることが分かる。
以上により、MnO2/aCNT電極における容量性電荷蓄積の存在が明らかになり、MnO2/aCNT電極における容量性電荷蓄積の割合について以下にさらに説明する。

- 複数のカーボンナノチューブ及び遷移金属酸化物ナノ粒子を含む電池電極であって、
前記遷移金属酸化物ナノ粒子及び複数の前記カーボンナノチューブは、C−0−M化学結合で結合され、
Mは遷移金属を表すことを特徴とする電池電極。 - 複数の前記カーボンナノチューブは互いに絡み合って緊密に結合され、カーボンナノチューブ構造体を形成し、
前記カーボンナノチューブ構造体は自立構造体であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の電池電極。 - 複数のカーボンナノチューブを提供し、複数の前記カーボンナノチューブを予め酸化し、複数の前記カーボンナノチューブは超配列カーボンナノチューブアレイから得られる第一ステップと、
複数の前記カーボンナノチューブを溶媒中で超音波により分散させて、カーボンナノチューブ懸濁液を形成する第二ステップと、
前記カーボンナノチューブ懸濁液に遷移金属オキシ酸含有物質を添加し、均一に撹拌して混合して、混合液を形成する第三ステップと、
前記混合液をろ過して乾燥させ、遷移金属酸化物/カーボンナノチューブ複合電極を形成する第四ステップと、
を含むことを特徴とする電池電極の製造方法。 - ハイブリッドエネルギー貯蔵装置であって、電池電極を含み、
前記電池電極は請求項1又は2に記載の電池電極であるハイブリッドエネルギー貯蔵装置。
