Description
Claims (20)
- 乗物ルーフ補強材であって、
中央開口部及び少なくとも1つの角部を規定する金属又は金属合金フレームと、
繊維を有し、金属又は金属合金を含む少なくとも1つの移行構造を含む繊維強化ポリマ(FRP)部と、
を備え、
前記FRP部の少なくともいくつかの前記繊維は、前記移行構造に埋め込まれ、前記FRP部は、前記少なくとも1つの角部に配置される乗物ルーフ補強材。 - 請求項1記載の乗物ルーフ補強材において、
前記金属又は金属合金フレームは、前記少なくとも1つの角部内に少なくとも1つの開口部を含み、前記FRP部が前記開口部を満たす乗物ルーフ補強材。 - 請求項2記載の乗物ルーフ補強材において、
前記金属又は金属合金フレームは、前記少なくとも1つの開口部の端部を形成するオフセットフランジを含み、前記移行構造は、前記オフセットフランジに取り付けられる乗物ルーフ補強材。 - 請求項1記載の乗物ルーフ補強材において、
前記FRP部は、前記少なくとも1つの角部において前記金属又は金属合金フレームに重なる乗物ルーフ補強材。 - 請求項4記載の乗物ルーフ補強材において、
前記FRP部は、前記フレームの外側リップから、中央チャネルを横切り、前記フレームの内側リップまで延在する乗物ルーフ補強材。 - 請求項1記載の乗物ルーフ補強材において、
前記FRP部は、L字状である乗物ルーフ補強材。 - 請求項1記載の乗物ルーフ補強材において、
前記FRP部は、前記乗物の長手方向の軸に略平行な第1部分と、前記乗物の前記長手方向の軸に略直交する第2部分と、を含む乗物ルーフ補強材。 - 請求項7記載の乗物ルーフ補強材において、
前記第1部分及び前記第2部分は、内側角部及び外側角部を形成する乗物ルーフ補強材。 - 請求項1記載の乗物ルーフ補強材において、
前記金属又は金属合金フレームは、外側リップと、凹状中央チャネル部と、内側リップと、を含む乗物ルーフ補強材。 - 請求項9記載の乗物ルーフ補強材において、
前記FRP部は、上昇させた前記内側リップから前記中央チャネル部の底部まで延在する乗物ルーフ補強材。 - 請求項9記載の乗物ルーフ補強材において、
前記FRP部は、前記中央チャネル部内で延在する乗物ルーフ補強材。 - 請求項9記載の乗物ルーフ補強材において、
さらに、前記内側リップにヘミングされた乗物ルーフスキンを備え、前記乗物ルーフスキンは、アルミニウム又はその合金を含み、前記金属又は金属合金フレームはアルミニウム又はその合金を含む乗物ルーフ補強材。 - 請求項1記載の乗物ルーフ補強材において、
前記金属又は金属合金フレームと前記少なくとも1つのFRP部との間のインターフェース部は、前記金属又は金属合金フレーム内にオフセットフランジを含み、前記移行構造は、前記オフセットの少なくとも一部を満たす乗物ルーフ補強材。 - 請求項1記載の乗物ルーフ補強材において、
前記移行構造は、少なくとも1つのスポット溶接部を介して前記金属又は金属合金フレームに接続される乗物ルーフ補強材。 - 請求項1記載の乗物ルーフ補強材において、
さらに、前記金属又は金属合金フレームに取り付けられる乗物ボディを備え、
前記乗物ボディは、金属合金製である乗物ルーフ補強材。 - 乗物ルーフを製造する方法であって、
中央開口部及び少なくとも1つの角部を規定する金属又は金属合金フレームを設ける工程と、
繊維トウが埋め込まれた少なくとも1つの金属タブを含む、ルーフ補強材の少なくとも1つの繊維強化ポリマ(FRP)部を設ける工程と、
前記少なくとも1つの金属タブを介して、前記FRP部を前記金属フレームに接合する工程と、
を含む、乗物ルーフを製造する方法。 - 請求項16記載の方法において、
さらに、ルーフスキンを、前記中央開口部を規定する前記フレームの内側端にヘミングすることにより、前記ルーフスキンを前記ルーフ補強材に装着し、ルーフスキン構成を作成する工程を含む、乗物ルーフを製造する方法。 - 請求項17記載の方法において、
さらに、前記金属又は金属合金フレームを乗物ボディに接合することにより、前記ルーフスキン構成を前記乗物ボディに装着する工程を含む、乗物ルーフを製造する方法。 - 請求項16記載の方法において、
前記少なくとも1つのFRP部を設ける工程は、
前記繊維トウが埋め込まれた前記少なくとも1つの金属タブを含む移行部品を設ける工程と、
前記埋め込まれた繊維トウに繊維織物の層を挟む工程と、
前記繊維織物の層を固化して前記FRP部を形成する工程と、
を含む、乗物ルーフを製造する方法。 - 請求項16記載の方法において、
前記FRP部の前記少なくとも1つの金属タブを前記金属又は金属合金フレームに接合する工程は、前記少なくとも1つの金属タブを前記金属又は金属合金フレームに溶接する工程を含む、乗物ルーフを製造する方法。
