Abstract
Description
蓄熱性フィラーと熱伝導性フィラーの両者を樹脂に分散した組成物も開示されている(例えば、特許文献2、3)。しかしながら、それぞれのフィラーの添加量は、それぞれを単独で添加した場合よりも少なくせざるを得ないため性能が不十分であり、また、筆者らの検討結果によると、熱は熱伝導性フィラーを中心に伝導していくので、蓄熱性フィラーへの効果的な熱伝導が行われず、結果的に蓄熱性能が低下するという問題があることが判明した。また、特許文献4には、樹脂で形成されるシェル内に蓄熱材が封入された蓄熱マイクロカプセルと熱伝導性フィラーを含む蓄熱材料が開示されており、蓄熱マイクロカプセルの作製方法について詳述されているが、樹脂被膜で蓄熱材を覆ったカプセル状のものは、樹脂被膜が熱抵抗となり、内部の蓄熱材への熱伝導が阻害されるという問題があった。
すなわち、本発明は下記[1]〜[5]に記載の事項を特徴とするものである。
[1]蓄熱材を含有する樹脂粒子の蓄熱性熱伝導性粒子であって、蓄熱材を樹脂被膜で覆って作製された樹脂粒子ではない樹脂粒子の表面に熱伝導性フィラーを付着した蓄熱性熱伝導性粒子。
[2]蓄熱材が、脂肪族系の化合物から選ばれる前記[1]に記載の蓄熱性熱伝導性粒子。
[3]粒径が、平均粒径で0.5〜100μmの範囲にあることを特徴とする前記[1]または[2]に記載の蓄熱性熱伝導性粒子。
[4]熱伝導性フィラーの熱伝導率が1W/mK以上であることを特徴とする前記[1]〜[3]のいずれかに記載の蓄熱性熱伝導性粒子。
[5]前記[1]〜[4]のいずれかに記載の蓄熱性熱伝導性粒子を含有する樹脂組成物。
(1)融点および蓄熱量
TA Instruments製Discovery DSCを用いて、窒素流通下、室温から100℃まで10℃/分で昇温し、融解のピークトップ(融点)および融解の熱量(蓄熱量)を測定した。
(2)温度上昇試験
5cm角で厚み1mmのサンプルシートを2枚のアルミ板(7.5X5cm、厚み0.85mm)で上下挟んだものを、80℃に温調したヒーター上に載せ、上から0.2kgの重しを載せた。熱電対を、下部アルミ板とサンプルの間(下部熱電対)と上部アルミ板の上(上部熱電対)にそれぞれ設置し、ヒーター上に載せてからの温度上昇を測定した。下部熱電対が70℃に到達するまでの時間と、上部熱電対が60℃に到達するまでの時間をそれぞれ記録した。
THF中に、ステアリン酸(ナカライテスク製試薬特級)60重量部とポリカーボネート(帝人化成製パンライトL−1225L)35重量部を溶解した溶液を調製し、蒸留水を攪拌したものに滴下し、30分間攪拌した。その後、カーボンナノファイバー(昭和電工製VGCF−H、熱伝導率1200W/mK)5重量部を添加し、30分間超音波分散した。その後、遠心分離して沈殿物を回収し、減圧下60℃で24時間乾燥して、蓄熱性熱伝導性粒子を調製した。調製した粒子の、融点は71℃、蓄熱量は120J/gであった。SEM観察の結果、粒子の形状は塊状で、平均粒径は約10μmであり、粒子表面に繊維状のカーボンナノファイバーが繊維どうしがバラバラに付着していることを確認した。
カーボンナノファイバーを添加しないこと以外は、実施例1と同様の操作を行い、蓄熱材を含有した樹脂粒子を得た。
ポリエチレン(アルドリッチ製LDPE、MFR=25g/10min)40重量部と実施例1で調製した粒子60重量部を、ラボプラストミル((株)東洋精機製作所製 4M150)を用いて、シリンダー設定温度150℃、スクリュー回転数30rpmにて3分間溶融混練を行った。得られた樹脂組成物を、真空プレス成形機(テスター産業(株)製SA−401−A)を用いて、減圧下150℃にてプレス成形を行い、5cm角、厚み1mmのシートを得た。該シートを用いて温度上昇試験を行った。結果を表1に示す。
実施例1で調製した粒子の代わりに、比較例1で得られた樹脂粒子57重量部とカーボンナノファイバー3重量部を用いたこと以外は実施例1と同様の操作を行った。結果を表1に示す。
ポリエチレンのみを真空プレス成形機を用いてプレス成形を実施例2と同様に行い、5cm角、厚み1mmのシートを得た。該シートを用いて温度上昇試験を行った。結果を表1に示す。
Claims (5)
- 蓄熱材を含有する樹脂粒子の蓄熱性熱伝導性粒子であって、蓄熱材を樹脂被膜で覆って作製された樹脂粒子ではない樹脂粒子の表面に熱伝導性フィラーを付着した蓄熱性熱伝導性粒子。
- 蓄熱材が、脂肪族系の化合物から選ばれる請求項1に記載の蓄熱性熱伝導性粒子。
- 粒径が、平均粒径で0.5〜100μmの範囲にあることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の蓄熱性熱伝導性粒子。
- 熱伝導性フィラーの熱伝導率が1W/mK以上であることを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載の蓄熱性熱伝導性粒子。
- 請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載の蓄熱性熱伝導性粒子を含有する樹脂組成物。
